Cao Xiangyu cursed in his heart.

They are all my f*cking employees. If I charge a fee to go to the toilet, who would still work for me?!

Even so, Cao Xiangyu also knew that Lin Yi was someone who didn’t play by the rules.

Otherwise, he would not have tried to level the warehouse to raise fish.

How could a normal person do such a thing?

!!
“Brother Lin, what you said makes sense, but we can’t do this,” Cao Xiangyu said.

“Does Secretary Wang have to pay to go to the toilet?”

“How is could that be? She’s my subordinate, so she naturally doesn’t have to pay.” Lin Yi said.

“It’s the same as when I handed over the assembly line and warehouse to you. Secretary Wang didn’t have the right to review the fire safety protocols in this situation, right?”

Hearing this, Cao Xiangyu understood what was going on.

It turned out that he was standing up for his secretary.

“Brother Lin, didn’t we make it very clear before? The warehouse is an important part of the factory, and it’s filled with Cisco’s goods. We were afraid that accidents might occur, so we stopped Secretary Wang from entering,” Cao Xiangyu said with a smile.

“Didn’t you just want to go to the warehouse to take a look? I’ll bring you there to inspect it now so that you can continue to guide us in our work.”

“Alright, since I’m already here, I’ll go over and take a look. I have nothing else to do anyway.”

“Brother Lin, if possible, can you recall your subordinate? He’s been guarding the entrance and collecting entrance fees, causing the employees below to be unable to work.”

“Alright, I’ll call him back first. Let’s go take a look.”

“Alright, alright, alright. We’re all on the same side. Let’s go over and take a look.”

Lin Yi called Liu Yinxi back and walked toward the warehouse.

“President Cao, this person is a jerk. Why are you still attending to him?” The female secretary said disdainfully.

Since the beginning, she didn’t have a good impression of Lin Yi.

This was because her goal was money, not Lin Yi’s looks.

“You’re wrong.” Director Cao placed his hands behind his back, looking like he was gazing out at the world.

“People like him are actually the easiest to deal with. Can’t you tell why he did this?”

The female secretary shook her head. She really did not understand.

“A few days ago, didn’t his secretary want to go to the warehouse to check the fire safety protocols? In the end, she was stopped by our people. As the saying goes, you have to check with the owner before hitting a dog. He felt embarrassed and thus played this trick. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have done such a insensitive thing.”

The secretary thought for a moment and seemed to understand what was going on.

“Could it be that President Cao did this just to give him face?”

“Of course. I’ve seen a lot of people like him. He’s capable of a lot, but he values his reputation very much. He talks about pomp everywhere and hopes that others will treat him with the highest standards. Therefore, people like him are the easiest to deal with. As long as you give him enough face, everything else can be discussed.”

“President Cao is really the best. You can tell who he is at a glance.”

Cao Xiangyu smiled. “I’ve been around for so many years. If I don’t even have this bit of foresight, wouldn’t I have wasted my time working so hard?”

“Try to get rid of him quickly. I’m annoyed just looking at him.”

Cao Xiangyu nodded. “Hurry up and make arrangements at the warehouse. Get the people guarding there to put on a show and give him some face. This matter will be resolved soon.”

“Got it, President Cao. I’ll go now.”

A few minutes later, they arrived at the warehouse.

At the same time, four people walked out of the warehouse and stood in a row at the door, bowing to Lin Yi.

“Hello, President Lin. Welcome to the examination of the warehouse.”

“Collegaues, you’ve worked hard.”

“All this is to serve President Lin.”

Liu Yinxi stood at the side, completely confused. What kind of trick was this?

President Lin wasn’t normally such an amicable person.

“President Lin, have a stick.” The warehouse manager handed him a cigarette.

“I don’t smoke. I’ll cough after smoking.”

“Boss Lin, drink some water. This is freshly brewed Tie Guanyin.”

“No, I can’t sleep after drinking.”

Everyone was speechless.

The secretary looked at Lin Yi with disdain.

He was clearly nothing, but he was still putting on airs. Compared to President Cao, he was really far inferior.

With his hands behind his back, Lin Yi led Wang Ran and Liu Yinxi around the four warehouses.

“President Cao, Cisco is really something. It hasn’t been long, but these four empty warehouses are already full. If these goods are distributed, won’t we make a lot of money?”

“It’s just a small business. It’s still far from being comparable to what President Lin is capable of.”

“It’s fine. I’ve threaded this path step by step. If there’s anything you don’t understand, you can ask me. With our relationship, I won’t charge you for any tuition fees.”

Cao Xiangyu despised him deep inside his heart, but his expression was very polite.

“Yes, yes, yes. I’ll definitely communicate more with Brother Lin regarding this in the future.”

“It’s obvious that Brother Cao is someone who is destined for great things. If you don’t know anything, learn it. You will surely succeed.”

“Hehehe…”

Cao Xiangyu sneered in his heart and didn’t say anything. He was already speechless at Lin Yi’s shamelessness.

About half an hour later, Lin Yi and the other two finished walking around the warehouse. They had a rough idea of the situation.

“Little Liu, the tour is over. Go back and continue working. Don’t bother with this anymore.”

“Got it, President Lin. I’ll go back now.” Liu Yin said happily.

“This trip has taken up almost an hour of my time. I lost out on dozens of dollars in the process.

“When it comes to making money, it’s important to keep things small and steady. Don’t pursue immediate gains and losses. Money can be earned slowly.”

“Got it, President Lin.”

“Hey, hey, hey, wait a minute.”

Seeing that Liu Yinxi was about to leave, Cao Xiangyu stopped him from behind.

“Brother, where are you going?”

“The tour is over. I have to go to the toilet to charge.”

“For a fee?”

Cao Xiangyu’s expression turned ugly.

“Brother Lin, what do you mean? I’ve brought you around the warehouse. Good cigarettes and tea have been prepared for you in process. Why are you still making him guard the toilet?”

“I don’t want to do this either.” Lin Yi sighed.

“He’s a distant relative of mine. His family background isn’t very good. His parents are seriously ill and he doesn’t have any skills. I can only arrange for him to work here. If there were any other options, I wouldn’t behave like this.”

“Isn’t that simple? If I arrange for him to work at the assembly line, won’t he have a source of income in the future?” Cao Xiangyu said.

“The issue is that this relative of mine is all brawn and no brains. He can’t do that kind of high-end work. Moreover, he prefers to work freely. His biggest dream since he was young was to start a business.”

With that, Lin Yi looked at Liu Yinxi. “I remember a few days ago, you told me that you wanted to go out and do business. You took a fancy to a shop. The annual rent is 200,000 yuan, but you can’t afford it, right?”

“That’s right. That boss is too evil. He asked for 200,000 yuan. I had no choice but to stay here and watch the toilet for a while. When I earn 200,000 yuan, I’ll rent that place.”

Lin Yi nodded and said earnestly,

“Your idea is quite novel. Work hard here. President Cao has so many people under him. You will be able to earn 200,000 yuan in a few months.”

“Holy shit!”

Cao Xiangyu cursed in his heart, “You still want to f*cking work here for a few months? You’re going to ruin my business.”

“Brother Liu, you’re Brother Lin’s relative, so you’re basically my relative too. Isn’t it just 200,000 yuan? I support your dream. I’ll invest this money in you.”
