“I understand what you mean.” Liang Ruoxu said.

“I just can’t believe that someone your age would have such thoughts.”

“I grew up in the political compound. All my friends my age only frequent brothels, nightclubs, and racetracks. You’re the only one I see that’s different.”

“Look at what you’re saying, you’re making it sound like I’m not normal.” Lin Yi said, “I had a sports car, I’d go to the nightclub too. I just don’t like the young models in the club, I don’t feel any sense of accomplishment when I get them.”

“Then who do you like?”

!!
Lin Yi looked at Liang Ruoxu with a burning gaze. The latter instantly understood what he meant and subconsciously turned her head away, not wanting Lin Yi to see the blush on her face.

“Don’t look at me. Watch the show.”

Lin Yi looked up and saw that it was Sugar’s turn.

“You perfectly reminded me. I was just waiting for her show.”

“For her?”

Liang Ruoxu raised his head and looked at Sugar, who was sitting beside the piano. She could not help but mutter in her heart.

“Why are they so big?”

Seeing that Sugar was going to play the piano, Lin Yi was a little surprised. With her intelligence, she knew how to play the piano?

What surprised Lin Yi even more was that Sugar’s piano skills seemed to be quite good.

The song she played was a difficult Mendelssohn E minor swing song. There were no flaws in her performance at all. Her skills were really good.

“Teacher Lin, play us a song!”

Sugar had just finished playing when she heard the students cheering below.

“What the f*ck?!”

I was just used as bait. Why are you asking him to go up?

“Teacher Lin, go on up. We want to hear you sing!”

“Teacher Lin, we want to hear you play the piano!”

“Teacher Lin, play us a song!”

Seeing the female students shouting crazily, Liang Ruoxu smiled at Lin Yi.

“It’s hard to refuse such requests. Do you want to play a song?” Liang Ruoxu smiled and said, “If the performance can satisfy me, I’ll help you get the local funding.”

“I think you’re trying to embarrass me.”

“You’re the one who said it, not me.” Liang Ruoxu gloated as if she had identified Lin Yi’s weakness. “You want the local funding, but you don’t want to pay anything in return. There’s no such thing as a free lunch in this world.”

“Do I look like I need money? If push comes to shove, I will just forget the supporting funds.” Lin Yi said.

“But if I actually do this, I want the two of us to admire each other later. If you agree, I don’t mind going up and showing my face.”

“You can’t just make random gestures. You have to satisfy me.”

“Why should I bother playing since you can just say you weren’t satisfied?”

“I’ll accept it as long as the students are satisfied,” Liang Ruoxu said with a smile.

“Just you wait!”

Lin Yi stood up and said to the students below, “Stop shouting.”

Under everyone’s gaze, Lin Yi walked onto the stage.

At this moment, the host walked to the side.

“Teacher Lin, what show do you want to perform for the new juniors and seniors who are about to graduate?

“I’m going to sing,” Lin Yi said casually.

This answer was within the host’s expectations.

This was because singing was the simplest talent. Everyone knew how to sing. The only difference was whether it was pleasant or unpleasant to the ears.

Liang Ruoxu quietly took out her phone and prepared to record Lin Yi’s performance.

In the future, when he was disrespectful to her, she would take the video out and show it to him. She guaranteed that it would extinguish the fire instantly.

At the thought of this, Liang Ruoxu’s lips curled into a smile.

Admiring each other?

‘In your dreams, hmph!’

“Teacher Lin, what song do you want to sing? I’ll get the students backstage to prepare it.”

Even though doing this would disrupt the sequence of events, what did it matter?

This shows were mainly meant to entertain to students. As long as they were happy, nothing else mattered.

“There’s no need to prepare anything. There’s a piano here. I can use this.”

“Piano?”

Hearing that Lin Yi was going to play the piano, everyone watching the show was surprised.

Could it be that Teacher Lin knew how to play the piano?

Wasn’t he a little too omnipotent?

“Teacher Lin, what song do you plan to sing?” The host was surprised and delighted. Not only was he handsome, but he also knew how to play the piano. He loved it.

“Loving You.”

As he spoke, Lin Yi sat on the piano chair and tested the piano to make sure it was in tune. After confirming that there was no problem, he started playing.

Lin Yi didn’t hesitate as he tapped the black and white keys with both hands. A beautiful melody flowed from between his fingers.

“Loving you is easy ’cause you’re beautiful,

“It’s easy to fall in love with you because you’re so beautiful.

“And making love with you is all I wanna do.

“And being with you is the only thing I want.

“Loving you is more than just a dream come true,

“Loving you isn’t just a dream come true.

“And everything that I do is out of love for you.

“And all I did was love you.

“No one else can make me feel the colors that you bring.

“No one can make me feel the colors you bring.”

His voice carried perfect harmonics. Coupled with the notes from the piano, the students below the stage were mesmerized!

How was this just singing? It was clearly a display of tragic love.

When the last note was played, Lin Yi stopped. Everyone present was intoxicated.

Liang Ruoxu couldn’t believe that Lin Yi had such skills.

She also did not expect him to be able to sing such a beautiful song.

What surprised her the most was that Lin Yi’s English was so good.

This was definitely not based on homonyms. He really had a solid base in English. Otherwise, he would not have been able to sing so well.

Lin Yi stood up and looked at the people below.

“What are you waiting for? Clap.”

“Right, right, right. Clap.” In the auditorium, thunderous applause rose for a long time.

Only then did they know that not only was Lin Yi handsome, but he also had substance.

Compared to Teacher Lin, other men could hardly be considered men at all!

They were nothing more than male animals!

“Teacher Lin, you sang too well. Sing another song.”

“I can’t take it anymore. I’m going to get pregnant.”

“We want to hear thunder!”

“Teacher Lin, I love you. I want to bear your children!”

“That’s more like it.”

Lin Yi nodded in satisfaction and walked back to his seat.

At this moment, Liang Ruoxu still couldn’t believe that the English song that had played and sang had come from Lin Yi.

“Beauty Liang, from the reaction of the audience, they should be quite satisfied with the song I sang. It’s time for us to admire each other. You haven’t forgotten, right?”

“What’s the use of them being satisfied? Anyway, I didn’t think it was nice.”

“You’re being shameless.”

“You’re the one being shameless. What can you do to me? Hmph.”

Lin Yi couldn’t do anything about Liang Ruoxu, but he didn’t take it to heart.

With her personality, it would be strange if she really bared it all for him.

As the party entered its second half, Liang Ruoxu found a random excuse and left early.

This was within Zhao Qi’s expectations. If it wasn’t for Lin Yi, she might not have stayed until now.

“Do you want to have dinner together?” Liang Ruoxu asked when they reached the parking lot.

“It’s tasteless to eat with someone like you who goes back on their word. It’d be better go back and eat by myself.”

“Do you have to act like this?” Liang Ruoxu said bitterly.

“Why not? People aren’t morally upright if they don’t keep their promises. People like you are only reliable on the surface. Once something happens, you won’t step in to lend a helping hand.”

“Who are you calling unreliable? I’m not the kind of person you think I am.”

“You didn’t do what you promised me, and yet you say you’re not that kind of person?”

“In that case, let’s go to my house. We have to eat dinner first.”
