Lin Yi remembered now.

In the afternoon, when they were buying swimsuits, Li Chuhan didn’t overthink the decision. He just picked a basic one that used straps and left.

The two of them had been underwater for a long time. It was very likely that the seawater had undone her swimsuit strap.

Li Chuhan’s expression became more and more nervous. She used her hands to hold onto her bikini. During this process, she could not avoid being flustered.

Fortunately, her swimming trunks were not washed away by the water. Otherwise, she would really be exposed.

!!
Lin Yi signaled for Li Chuhan to calm down, then slowly dove down alone. He wrapped an arm around her butt and started tying her swimsuit.

Li Chuhan was so nervous that she was trembling. It was fine if he hugged her waist, but this position caused her brain to shut down. Her face was as red as fire.

Soon, Lin Yi redid her swimsuit, and Li Chuhan’s nervous mood returned to normal.

About five minutes later, they returned to the surface.

“Brother Lin, there are still a few sets of equipment on the ship. Do you want to continue?” Standing on the deck, Gao Zongyuan said with a smile.

“No, no need,” Li Chuhan said in a barely audible voice that only Lin Yi could hear.

“I’m not continuing anymore. Let’s go up and rest for a while.”

When the two of them boarded the boat, Li Chuhan felt a lingering fear when she thought of what had just happened. Her face also turned red.

This was the first time she had such intimate contact with a person of the opposite sex.

As an unmarried person, she had never thought that such a thing would happen.

“Director Li, why is your face red?” Qiao Xin asked as she ate her potato chips.

“It was her first time diving. She was a little nervous, so her face turned a little red,” Lin Yi explained.

“So that’s how it is.” Qiao Xin didn’t think too much about it. Then, she pulled Li Chuhan into the cabin to play the party game, Werewolf, with the others.

It was soon almost eight in the evening, and the sky was completely dark.

“Some of them are still on duty tonight. Let’s go back now,” Lin Yi said to Gao Zongyuan.

“I think it’s about time. Let’s call it a day. We’ll meet again when we have time.”

“Okay.”

Although they still had to be on duty at night, the young nurses were very satisfied with this trip. It was not a wasted day.

When the yacht returned to the shore, the two groups separated.

“What plans do you have for tonight?” Lin Yi asked casually.

Gao Zongyuan took out his phone. “Haha, Brother Qin is already calling me. He wanted me to look for him after we were done. When we meet, I think he’ll kill me.”

“Go, go. I’ll burn incense for you during Qingming, haha…”

The two of them teased each other for a while before parting ways.

Then, Lin Yi brought Li Chuhan and the others back to the gathering point.

Because he needed to watch the stuff, Wang Zeyi stayed here and didn’t leave by himself.

“Director Li, you’re back.”

Seeing Li Chuhan and the others return, Wang Zeyi greeted them.

“Director Wang, you don’t know this, but Brother Lin’s boat was so luxurious. We experienced the life of a supporting actress in an idol drama,” Yuan Siqi said.

Wang Zeyi’s face darkened. ‘I don’t want to hear this at all!’

“Also, Brother Lin and Director Li went diving. The two of them went down with their arms around each other’s waists. I’m so envious. I really wanted Brother Lin to hug me like this,” Qiao Xin said.

Lin Yi couldn’t help but laugh. Are you trying to anger Wang Zeyi to death?

“Well, diving is indeed quite fun, and I’m quite good at it. If Director Li likes it, I’ll bring you to do it next time,” Wang Zeyi said awkwardly.

“I appreciate Director Wang’s kindness. However, the next time I want to do it, I’ll look for Director Lin.”

“Huh?”

Lin Yi was stunned. He didn’t expect Li Chuhan to say something like that.

Did this mean something?

“Um…”

The atmosphere was a little cold, and Wang Zeyi didn’t know what to say.

“Eh? What’s going on?” Qiao Xin asked in surprise.

“What’s wrong? Why are you so shocked?” Lin Yi asked.

“Brother Lin, I wanted to ask you what’s wrong.”

“I’m fine. Isn’t everything normal?”

“You indeed appear normal, but Director Li does not.”

“Me?” Li Chuhan was surprised.

“How am I not normal?”

“Director Li, I was the one who tied your swimsuit strap for you. I remember that at that time, I tied it for you in the shape of a bow, but now, one side is a bow, and the other side is tied into a dead knot. What’s going on? Could it be that it was untied halfway?”

“Are you serious?”

The young nurses were in an uproar. They went to look at Li Chuhan and realized that it was really as Qiao Xin had said.

On one side was an exquisite bow, and on the other side was a dead knot that had been tied carelessly. With Director Li’s personality, she shouldn’t have tied the swimsuit strap like this.

“That’s not right. I remember that before Director Li and Brother Lin dived, there were bows on both sides. After the two of them came out, you played Werewolf Kill with us in the cabin and didn’t touch your swimsuit strap at all. What’s going on?”

Qiao Xin crossed her arms in front of her chest with one hand and stroked her chin with the other.

“The swimsuit strap strangely changed shape. Did Director Li untie it herself, or was it someone else?”

“During this period of time, what exactly happened? All the clues were scattered, and only a few innocent-looking beauties were there to see this happen, but in reality…”

Thack!

Lin Yi flicked Qiao Xin’s forehead.

“You need to stop making assumptions.”

“Brother Lin, be gentler. It hurts.”

“I know what happened.” Yuan Siqi said.

“Director Lin and Director Li must have untied their swimsuit straps when they were diving.”

“This position is really exciting!” Qiao Xin said.

“In the department, Director Lin and Director Li are skilled. I didn’t expect them to be equally skilled in such matters as well. They are so experienced. I’ve really gained a lot of knowledge this time.”

“Yes, yes. We have unknowingly become wiser in matters relating to the strange.”

“Alright, stop talking nonsense. It’s not what you think,” Li Chuhan explained.

“Because we were underwater, we did not have enough oxygen, so I tied it up haphazardly. If any of you spout nonsense again, I’ll mark your attendance as D this month.”

“Okay, okay, okay. Let’s not talk about it anymore.”

Qiao Xin and the young nurses stopped talking and revealed expressions that indicated that knew everything.

“Alright, drive home if you don’t have a shift at night. If you have a night shift, take my car back to the hospital.”

“That’s right, that’s right. Today is my and Director Li’s night shift. Everyone can take our car back,” Wang Ze said without giving up.

“Director Wang, you’ve been here all afternoon. You must be tired. Go back and rest. I’ll have Lin Yi cover the night shift for you,” Li Chuhan said.
