“I understand,” Lu Ying said.

“Should we get a media company to handle this?”

“Hmm…”

Lin Yi pondered for a few seconds. “There’s a media company called Fenglan Culture in Zhonghai. Go get them to do this, but don’t reveal my name.”

“Then do we need to hide our identities? Do you want to create alternate identities for us?”

!!
Obviously, Lu Ying had already adapted to Lin Yi’s tricks and knew about his affinity for character creation.

“That’s not necessary. Just act as the Longxin Research Institute.”

“Got it.”

The two of them nodded. Sun Fuyu asked, “Other than Fenglan Culture, should we contact the other media agencies in the circle?”

“No need.” Lin Yi tilted his head and smiled. “As long as you work with Fenglan Culture, she will help us with the rest.”

“Got it.”

“There’s one more thing,” Lin Yi said, “This has to do with Director Shen’s research report. If there’s anything that needs to be signed, take it to the city and ask Liang Ruoxu to sign it.”

“The new deputy mayor?”

“Yeah.”

“Got it.”

“Alright, go do it now.” Lin Yi stood up, “I have other things to do, so I’ll leave first.”

“Take care, Boss.”

After leaving the research institute, Lin Yi called Qin Han.

“Don’t tell me you’re bringing a girl out to sea for a swimsuit party again. Are you coming to anger me now?”

“Do I really look like a wicked person to you?”

“Damn, you look incredibly wicked. I really want to slap you in the face when I see you.”

“Alright, stop talking nonsense,” Lin Yi said, “I remember that there’s someone called Liu Yinxi under you. Why haven’t I seen him recently?”

“He’s been with me for quite some time. I’ve arranged a proper job for him where he’s going to be the vice president.”

“I have something going on now. Can I borrow him?”

“Sure, where are you? I’ll get him to look for you.”

“No need. Tell me where he is and I’ll pick him up.”

“Go to Sino-Han Capital and look for him. You should have his phone number, right?”

“Yes,” Lin Yi said, “Go do your thing, I’ll hang up first.”

After hanging up, Lin Yi went to Sino-Han Capital and called Liu Yinxi. The other party came down quickly.

“Not bad. You look like a high-ranking white-collar worker in a suit.”

“Mr. Lin, please don’t joke with me.” Liu Yin said happily.

“Young Master Qin took care of me and arranged for me to be a department manager. But to be honest, I’m not the kind of person who works in the office. I’m more comfortable working with Young Master Qin.”

“Hey, calm down. You still have to support your family in the future.”

“That’s true.” Liu Yinxi said.

“If Young Master Qin hadn’t taken care of me, I wouldn’t have been able to stay in a place like Zhonghai.”

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Liu Yinxi looked at Lin Yi and said,

“Mr. Lin, I heard from Young Master Qin that you’re looking for me. Just let me know if you need anything.”

“I have an important mission for you. I don’t trust anyone else, so you have to do it.”

“No problem. Just say it.”

“Don’t worry. Get in the car first. I’ll take you somewhere. We’ll talk on the way.”

“Okay.”

An hour later, Lin Yi drove Liu Yinxi to the factory area.

On the way, Lin Yi told him in detail what he needed Liu Yinxi to do.

“Mr. Lin, do you really want to play these kinds of tricks? It’s a little exciting.”

“Don’t worry, Sci-Tech belongs to me. There will be no repercussions. Just do as I say.”

“Alright, I’ll listen to Mr. Lin’s arrangements.”

After getting out of the car, the two of them parted ways. Lin Yi went to Wang Ran’s office.

Wang Ran was wearing a white tulle ruffled shirt with jeans and high heels. When wearing this traditional outfit, she looked much more sexy and charming.

“Teacher Lin.”

Seeing Lin Yi enter, Wang Ran stood up to welcome him.

“How’s the factory been recently?” Lin Yi sat on the sofa and asked.

“It’s still the same as before.” Wang Ran said, “But I feel that the current Sci-Tech is no longer ours.”

“Why?”

“The workshop and the warehouse are controlled by Cisco’s people. Sometimes, I want to review the level of fire safety, but I’m stopped outside,” Wang Ran said without much interest.

“I feel like a female security guard. I don’t do anything and I’m still earning my salary. Teacher Lin, why don’t you arrange some other jobs for me?”

As she said this, Wang Ran made a cup of coffee for Lin Yi and handed it to him.

“Don’t worry. The business between Sci-Tech and Cisco is about to come to an end. You won’t have to stay here anymore.”

“Teacher Lin, don’t misunderstand. I’m not complaining about my work.” Wang Ran explained.

“I feel bad for not doing any work and getting paid.”

“I didn’t misunderstand,” Lin Yi said, “I transferred you here because I didn’t have enough manpower. I’ll take care of everything in a few days…”

Creak…

Before Lin Yi could finish speaking, the office door was pushed open.

Cao Xiangyu and his secretary hurried in from outside.

“Yo, isn’t this Brother Cao? I haven’t seen you in a long time. How’s business been recently? It should be quite good, right?”

“Brother Lin, why are you making a scene?” Cao Xiangyu said.

“What’s wrong? I’m just here to visit my employees. I didn’t do anything.”

“Nothing?” Cao Xiangyu suppressed his anger and said,

“You sent a tall burly man to guard the toilet door and charge for every entry. No one does this. It’s too unethical.”

“Oh, you meant that?” Lin Yi suddenly understood.

“Brother Cao, you have to understand your brother’s difficulties.”

“What difficulties? Did you start gambling again?”

“Don’t mention that. I lost a few hundred thousand again, and I don’t have any money in my pocket,” Lin Yi said.

“But don’t worry, Brother Cao. I’m a sensible person. I won’t take your money anymore. I’m already an adult. I have to learn to earn my own money. Taking your money all the time isn’t a solution.”

“I understand that you want to earn money, but you can’t use this method,” Cao Xiangyu said.

“How can the factory employees work when you send people to guard the toilet door and charge for its use? People are already complaining to me.”

“Let them complain.” Lin Yi said, “Isn’t money meant to be spent? They can’t lay eggs with it even if they keep it.”

“That’s right, but who would use the money they earned to go to the toilet?”

“Don’t you have a toilet at home?” Lin Yi said.

“Of course I did. Is there a need to ask?”

“That’s exactly it. If you install a toilet in your own house, it’s like a full cash payment. I’m just charging in installments. If they find it expensive, they can use the Provident Fund. It’ll be much cheaper that way,” Lin Yi said.

“We’re both businessmen. We have to find a way to scam others. You can’t complain to me about this.”
