“Please be decent,” Li Chuhan said.

There was nothing she could do about these people.

After all, these people were girls. Couldn’t they be more reserved?

“Director Li, you don’t won’t be able to tell how hungry a man is when he’s full.”

Li Chuhan lowered his head and looked at the others.

!!
He felt that it was better for him not to speak.

At this moment, saying anything would look like he was showing off.

“What’s the point of the double eyelids and the eye shape surgery?” Lin Yi said as he ate the beef, “I don’t recommend you to do it.”

“Director Lin, I think you’re saying this because you’re afraid of being exposed,” Wang Zeyi interrupted.

“Why would I be afraid of that?”

“Because you can’t do it.”

Lin Yi was speechless. “Silicone is flammable and explosive. It’s not safe to put inside the body, so I don’t recommend it.”

“No way, you can even think of such a reason?” Wang Zeyi said, “Silicone is something that’s placed inside the body. When will it meet an open flame?”

The women, including Li Chuhan, were a little confused. The excuse of being flammable and explosive did not seem to work.

“Aren’t you cremated when you die?” Lin Yi said.

“Your family members will be crying outside while you’re in the furnace. What will happen then? Before you leave this Earth, do you want to prematurely fly to heaven? Aren’t you afraid that the corpse will explode on the spot and spiral into the sky?”

“You!”

“Director Wang, your roasted beef is really good. Give me some more,” Lin Yi said, “With your skills, you are even fit to go to the crematorium to send people off.”

Hahaha!

Qiao Xin and the others couldn’t help but laugh. Brother Lin was too humorous.

Under Lin Yi’s persuasion, the women gave up on the surgery and started talking about other topics.

“There are many boats parked at the dock today. There is even a little red flag here. It’s really beautiful,” Yuan Siqi said.

“That’s my friend’s yacht club’s boat. They’re having an event today. I’ll bring one over later. We’ll go out to sea too.”

“Hehe, thank you, Director Wang. This is my first time going out to sea.”

“It’s okay. I’ll let you guys have fun.”

Just as they were chatting, Lin Yi put down his plate and stood up. Seeing this, Qiao Xin asked,

“Brother Lin, where are you going?”

“I’m going out for a walk. You guys continue eating.”

Qiao Xin and the other nurses wanted to follow, but seeing that Lin Yi had no intention of bringing them along, they all stayed.

Lin Yi swaggered towards the operations center in his flip-flops.

When he reached the third floor, he pushed open the door to Bi Songjiang’s office.

“President Lin, you’re here.”

Seeing Lin Yi’s outfit, Bi Songjiang was a little surprised.

“I came to hang out with friends.”

“Do you need a boat?”

“No need, someone has already prepared one.” Lin Yi said.

“I came over to check on the situation at the dock. How’s the progress now?”

Bi Songjiang straightened his expression. “The first phase of the expansion project has basically been completed. Our Wangjiang Dock has already become the largest cruise ship pier in the country. The next two phases of the project will help us in our ambition of becoming one of the top docks worldwide.”

“Has Yaluo Design come up with a plan regarding this?”

“We’ve only been a sketch for now. Director Guan said that when the finished design is out, he wants to meet us and hear your opinion.”

“Alright.” Lin Yi nodded. “Do you have enough funds?”

“Plenty.” Bi Songjiang said.

“A few days ago, Director Wang of Chaoyang Group and President Guan of Yarrow Design discussed this matter together. Eight hundred million yuan in modification funds is more than enough. Coupled with the revenue from the docks, we’ll have no issues regarding cash flow for now.”

“That’s good. Let me know if you need money.”

After chatting about the general situation, Lin Yi stood up and left.

However, before he left, he saw the map on the wall and said thoughtfully,

“Old Bi, how about we build an artificial island out at sea?”

“Ah?!”

Bi Songjiang was shocked. “President Lin, are you sure you’re not joking?”

“Uh… Haha, just take it as a joke.”

Bi Songjiang was dumbfounded. You don’t look like you’re joking!

“Why the shocked expression? I didn’t mean anything by it.”

In the corridor, just as Bi Songjiang was sending Lin Yi off, he suddenly heard a commotion coming from the conference room beside him. It made the two of them stop in their tracks.

“What’s going on inside? Why are you making so much noise?”

“There’s a yacht club that wants to go out to sea, but they have some problems with their filing procedures. There’s no way that they can go out.”

“What does the filing procedure have to do with us? There’s no need to check this, right?”

“President Lin, it’s like this.” Bi Songjiang said.

“As you know, Wangjiang Dock was bought by the city before it was transferred to you. Therefore, a few days ago, the leaders of the relevant departments came to look for me and entrusted us to investigate this business on their behalf. At the end of the day, we are doing business and have to build a good relationship with the relevant departments, so I agreed to this.”

“Is it troublesome?” Lin Yi asked, “If it’s troublesome, reject it. Don’t worry about it.”

Because of his relationship with Liang Ruoxu, Lin Yi didn’t care about anything else.

“It’s not troublesome. It’s just an extra inspection procedure. As long as it’s complete, even if something goes wrong, it will have nothing to do with us.”

“Alright, you decide on this yourself.”

“Got it, President Lin.”

“F*ck, my club is planning to go out to sea today. What the f*ck are you talking about? Do you still want to work at this lousy dock? If you don’t want to work, I’ll get someone to fire you!”

Lin Yi and Bi Songjiang looked at each other. “Let’s go over and take a look. I want to see who’s so pretentious.”

Pushing open the conference room door, Lin Yi saw more than ten people standing inside. All of them were dressed casually and wore all kinds of fashionable accessories. They were arrogant and domineering, as if they were at home.

“President Lin, Manager Bi, you’re here.”

Seeing Lin Yi and Bi Songjiang, the middle-aged woman in charge of the procedures walked over with an aggrieved expression. Her eyes were red and filled with tears.

“What’s wrong, Wang Sis? I’ll help you if anything happens. Don’t cry,” Lin Yi asked.

“President Lin, their procedures are incomplete. I tried to reason with them, but they didn’t listen.” The middle-aged woman wiped her tears and said, “And their scolding is especially unpleasant.”

“Hey, are you in charge here?”

The man who spoke had dyed gray hair and a pair of sunglasses resting on his nose. He was half-sitting in a chair with his feet on the table. His expression was arrogant.

Lin Yi didn’t say anything and walked straight over.

Then.

He kicked the leg of the chair!

The chair was instantly kicked out from under him. The gray-haired man could not react in time and fell to the ground. His glasses fell to the side and he looked extremely embarrassed.

Lin Yi looked down at the gray-haired man.

“I’m the person in charge here. Just tell me if you need anything.”
