“If I’m just supposed to attend a welcoming ceremony, I’ll have to pass. I have other things to do at the company.”

“Since Teacher Lin has something important to do, I won’t waste your time. If the school enacts any good policies, I’ll call you immediately.”

“Feel free. Call me if you need anything.”

With that, Lin Yi stood up to leave, but he suddenly remembered something and sat back down.

“Principal Zhao, I have something to ask you.”

!!
“Teacher Lin, go ahead.”

“I want to build a Hope School in Beiqiao Town. It will cover nine years of compulsory education from primary school to junior high, but I am facing some difficulties in staffing the teachers,” Lin Yi said.

“This is my plan. If a fourth-year graduate is willing to work here, can you arrange an internship for them? Don’t worry about the salary and treatment. We won’t let our students suffer.”

“That’s great!” Zhao Qi said excitedly.

“It’s getting harder and harder to find internship opportunities now. It’s fine if the conditions are tougher. It’s their honor that Teacher Lin is willing to provide them with an internship.”

“Alright, this will be our new project. It might take some time to implement it. We’ll talk about the details later.”

“Alright, alright, alright. I’ll listen to your arrangements. As long as I can do it, I’ll definitely help you launch the project.” Zhao Qi said.

“If the Hope School needs to go through procedures with the Education Bureau, I can help you with them. This will be good for the country and its people. I definitely won’t delay it!”

“Alright, it’s settled.”

After talking to Zhao Qi about the Hope School, Lin Yi left the office.

However, he did not leave the school immediately. Instead, he went to the school committee office to see his old colleagues.

Lin Yi pushed the door open and entered. To his surprise, there was no one in the office.

“Where are they?”

Muttering to himself, Lin Yi pushed open the door to Sugar’s office. What greeted his eyes was a patch of white and two towering mountains.

“What the f*ck!”

Seeing Lin Yi enter, Sugar hurriedly held her chest and turned around.

At this moment, Sugar was wearing a light purple evening gown and looked much more dignified.

“You scared the sh*t out of me. Can’t you knock on the door before you come in?” Sugar complained.

“I surprised you.”

“Didn’t you rush in the last time I was changing my clothes? I haven’t even done anything yet. Why are you shocked?”

“Normal Earthlings aren’t as big as you. I thought aliens were invading.”

“Is there an alien as beautiful as me?”

“No, but I also don’t think they’re as big as you.”

“That just means the woman accompanying you right now doesn’t have a good figure.”

“Big Sister, you’re too big, alright? You’re not even proportionate. You can’t be biased.” Lin Yi sat down on the chair and said.

“Anyhow, why are Song Jia and the others gone? Also, why are you dressed like this?”

“When the school prepares to welcome the new students, they will all become busy with this matter.” Sugar pulled on the transparent bra strap.

“I’m the director of the school’s committee. The school arranged for me to speak at one of the sessions, so Song Jia got me a gown. How is it? I think it looks pretty good on me.”

“Its quite nice, but why does it feel indecent when you wear it?”

“Is it so big that it makes one’s imagination run wild?” Sugar said. “I have to find a way to make them smaller.”

“I can help with that.”

“No, I can do it myself. Don’t try to take advantage of me.”

“Then do it yourself. I’ll leave first.”

“You’re not here for the welcoming ceremony?”

“I won’t be watching. I was just here to catch up with you guys. Since nobody is around, I’ll head back first.”

“By the way, I’ve researched a new way to gank players in the game. The jungler can easily become invincible. Let’s try it tonight.”

“No, call me when you’ve picked up a new role in the game.”

Lin Yi waved his hand and left the office.

When he arrived at the parking lot, Lin Yi saw a woman with her hair tied up. She was wearing a gray uniform and was standing in front of his car, making a call.

“Isn’t that Liang Ruoxu? Why is she here?”

Soon, Lin Yi’s phone rang. It was a call from Liang Ruoxu.

Lin Yi didn’t pick it up, but he didn’t hang up either. He put it back in his pocket and quietly walked over, covering Liang Ruoxu’s eyes.

In an instant, Liang Ruoxu’s body became like an agile fish. She was so fast that Lin Yi didn’t even have time to react before the latter turned around!

At the same time, Liang Ruoxu touched his waist and pushed something against Lin Yi’s abdomen.

“Damn!” Lin Yi was stunned!

The thing in Liang Ruoxu’s hand was a gun!

“Why are you here?!”

“F*ck, are you f*cking crazy? Take it away quickly. I still have a lot of girls I haven’t wooed. I don’t want to die so early.”

Liang Ruoxu looked around and stopped when he realized that no one else was near her.

“You scared me to death. Why do you carry this with you?”

If Liang Ruoxu only had a knife on her, Lin Yi could accept it, but not everyone could carry a gun.

“Who asked you to launch a sneak attack on me?” Liang Ruoxu said, “I brought this for self-defense.”

“Aren’t you afraid of being exposed?”

“Since I dared to bring it out, I’m naturally not afraid.”

Only now did Lin Yi realize how terrifying Liang Ruoxu was.

When she revealed that move just now, he realized that her reaction was not due to instinct, but continuous practice.

Children of political figures were indeed different.

“Why are you here?” Lin Yi changed the topic. “With your status, you should be going to Fudan University or Jiao University.”

“I’m a new local official, so I have to visit every school. In order to accommodate me, Normal University specially brought forward the welcoming party. I am aware that I might work with some of the staff here in the future, so I had to come and take a look.” Liang Ruoxu said.

“Other than that, the few high-paying projects at the Normal University are also not bad. It’s only right that I come and check things out.”

With that, Liang Ruoxu looked at Lin Yi. “What about you? What are you doing here? Have you taken a fancy to a female student from the university?”

“Nonsense.” Lin Yi said, “I’ve already roped in the school belle as my secretary. I don’t care about the rest.”

“You really never leave empty-handed,” Liang Ruoxu said.

“Oh right, do you have time now? I have something to talk to you about,” Lin Yi said.

Liang Ruoxu shrugged. “I don’t have much time. The party starts at three. I’ll have to go before then.”

“Then we’ll talk another day.”

“What do you want to do then? Hey, you have nothing to do tonight, come with me to watch the gala. It’s boring for me to attend it alone.”

“No, I have other things to do tonight.”

“What else could you be doing other than getting a massage at that time?”
