Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 437 Clearing Su Chen’s NameThese were all important figures who shouldered the heavy responsibility of national development, every decision of whom could influence the future direction of the Dragon Kingdom.

However, as they exchanged glances, they discovered that one person was missing!

That indispensable Comrade Su Chen, who had played a key role in every important meeting.

Elder Zhao looked around, bewildered, his eyes full of confusion.

He couldn’t help but ask Elder Qin:

”Old Qin, what are you planning by suddenly calling everyone to this meeting?”

”I see that Little Chen isn’t here either. Should I send someone to bring him over?”

Elder Qin waved his hand lightly and said:

”Little Chen is busy with the tournament matters and really cannot get away.”

”Besides, the content of this meeting mainly revolves around Little Chen, so let’s not disturb him.”

Upon hearing Elder Qin’s words, the high-ranking officials of the Dragon Kingdom were all stunned, exchanging confused glances.

After everyone had taken their seats at the conference table, Elder Qin spoke slowly.

His gaze swept across the crowd, and he asked with a serious expression:

”Everyone knows that after this disaster passes, we will certainly have to hold some ceremonies to commemorate this difficult journey and commend those who have made outstanding contributions to the country.”

”Do you think we should let our citizens know about that true guardian who has been hiding behind the scenes, silently protecting the Dragon Kingdom?”

As soon as these words were spoken, it was like a bombshell exploding in the conference room, and everyone was shocked.

Everyone instantly guessed Elder Qin’s meaning; he was clearly planning to expose Su Chen’s identity!

In the past, this was something they wouldn’t even dare to imagine.

After all, Su Chen’s identity was extremely special, and once exposed, its influence would be enough to shake the entire Blue Planet!

But at the same time, this would inevitably attract a large amount of attention to him!

If some countries with ill intentions harbored malicious thoughts and secretly acted against Su Chen, the consequences would be unimaginable!

Elder Zhao frowned and was the first to speak:

”Old Qin, what exactly are you thinking?”

”Setting aside the fact that the disaster hasn’t completely passed, you’re here thinking about ’popping champagne at halftime.’ What if this disaster doesn’t end well? Wouldn’t that just be empty joy?”

”Furthermore, regarding Little Chen’s identity... to be honest, just like you, I really want our country’s people to know who has been silently protecting them from behind the scenes. But from the perspective of protecting Little Chen’s safety, this might not be a good thing.”

Elder Qin nodded slightly, his expression revealing a trace of helplessness and conflict:

”This is also the problem I have been worrying about.”

”Little Chen has made so many contributions to the country, and he is also a member of our military. Yet, the honors that belong to him cannot be awarded to him for various reasons. This makes me feel truly uneasy; I always feel like I’ve let him down.”

Hearing Elder Qin’s words, everyone fell into silence.

The atmosphere in the conference room suddenly became exceptionally heavy.

Just then, a voice broke the silence:

”Uh, I feel like exposing him wouldn’t be much of a problem!”

Everyone’s gaze turned toward the source of the voice; it was Commander Liu Chengzhi, who had already been promoted to General.

Elder Qin was slightly stunned, then said:

”Little Liu, continue explaining your thoughts.”

Commander Liu Chengzhi cleared his throat and said with a firm expression:

”Come to think of it, with our country’s current powerful strength, can we not protect Little Chen?”

”Not to mention, Little Chen currently has all-around security measures around him. Artificial Intelligence is monitoring every move in the vicinity at all times, stealth mechas are on standby to provide protection throughout, and an entire mecha army is nearby providing support, ensuring they can arrive at the first opportunity.”

”What’s more, Little Chen himself has mastered many self-preservation methods. He previously showed me some small inventions he made in his spare time; as long as danger approaches, he can immediately put on an Individual Mecha Suit and provide all-around protection.”

”Most importantly, the current international situation is no longer what it used to be. It is no longer the era of one superpower and many strong nations; instead, our Dragon Kingdom is the sole superpower, suppressing all other nations with absolute strength.”

”Under these circumstances, to still let our hero hide in the shadows—isn’t this just an act of laziness on our part in the name of protection?”

”We should let our citizens know them, let them know that it is precisely because such heroes exist that we can live so peacefully.”

As Commander Liu Chengzhi’s voice faded, everyone fell into silence once again!

Everyone was pondering the rationality of his words in their hearts.

Seeing this, Commander Liu Chengzhi shrugged helplessly and said:

”If you all feel it’s inappropriate, then just pretend I didn’t say anything!”

At this moment, someone spoke up in agreement:

”I think General Liu makes a lot of sense!”

”Comrade Su Chen is not only an outstanding scientific researcher who has made indelible contributions to the country’s technological development, but he is also a soldier shouldering a mission. In the past, due to the situation, he couldn’t receive the honors he deserved, and that was one thing. But now, if we still cannot vindicate him, it really is, as General Liu said, a habitual kind of laziness.”

Hearing their words, Elder Zhao also couldn’t help but nod slowly!

He continued:

”The main problem now is indeed Little Chen’s security. Besides the existing security measures, I have an idea that we can add one more: list Little Chen as a Nuclear-Bound Person!”

Elder Qin frowned slightly and asked confusedly:

”What is a Nuclear-Bound Person?”

Elder Zhao grinned and explained:

”This is a concept I just came up with, but it’s not just made up!”

”Just like nuclear-bound projects such as the Three Gorges Dam, once anyone uses Nuclear Weapons against it, we will unhesitatingly use Nuclear Weapons to counterattack!”

”By the same logic, if anyone dares to harm Little Chen, we will absolutely not go easy on them; we will directly use all powerful weapons, not limited to Nuclear Weapons, against them!”

Hearing Elder Zhao’s explanation, everyone suddenly realized.

”This proposal is good!”

”I think it’s reliable! Comrade Su Chen has always been working hard for the country from the shadows; it’s really been too hard on him.”

”Since that’s the case, it’s settled. After this disaster passes, we must vindicate Comrade Su Chen!”

”Just thinking about the shocked expressions of various countries when they learn of Comrade Su Chen’s great achievements makes me excited!”

”Especially Eagle Sauce—if they knew that the one who repeatedly made them hit a wall in various matters was actually a young man, they would probably want to die!”

”Everyone!”

Elder Qin clapped his hands to attract everyone’s attention:

”Since everyone supports doing this, then it is decided!”

”However, the most critical thing right now is to first get through the current disaster. Since everyone is here, let’s systematically take stock of our current military strength so we can make further preparations to defend against the enemy.”

Just like that, the plan for the country to vindicate Su Chen was quietly decided through the discussion and decision-making of everyone.

At this moment, Su Chen was completely unaware of this; he was concentrating on planning the tournament system with the staff sent by the country.

One day later, Spirit Realm once again welcomed a major update, and the brand-new tournament system officially debuted!
