Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 402 Please help me restore my kingdom! In Elder Qin’s view, this plan should have proceeded smoothly, encountering almost no obstacles.

After all, every country was currently mired in the quagmire of monster rampages, suffering terribly under the pressure of these terrifying creatures, with national regimes teetering on the brink, countless citizens dead, and many cities reduced to ruins.

In such a desperate situation, if the remaining resources could not be converted into power to resist the monsters, they were equivalent to a pile of useless junk. High-level officials of various countries should have readily agreed to the Dragon Kingdom’s proposal.

However, reality gave them a heavy slap in the face.

Problems followed one after another; the Dragon Kingdom found that it simply could not contact the high-level officials of these countries.

It turned out that to avoid the monsters’ pervasive intrusions, the high-level officials of many countries were like birds startled by the mere twang of a bow, hiding their whereabouts, and no one knew where they had gone.

Helpless, the Dragon Kingdom could only dispatch Individual Mecha to various countries, searching for these high-level officials like looking for a needle in a haystack.

In Russia, in that vast, boundless, snow-covered mountain forest in the north, there was dead silence.

Suddenly, a patch of snow loosened without warning, and before long, a thin man crawled out from underground.

From his appearance, one could tell at a glance that this person must have once been robust, possessing well-developed muscles, but now, due to long-term hunger and escape, his muscles had largely atrophied, and he appeared extremely thin, as if a gust of wind could blow him over.

His stomach growled, the sound exceptionally clear in the silent forest. He was so hungry he couldn’t stand it, so he scooped up a mouthful of snow and put it in his mouth, trying to alleviate the surging hunger.

However, the cold snow water could not fill his empty stomach at all, let alone stop the hunger that surged in like a tide.

Just then, he suddenly felt a black shadow flash behind him. Out of an almost instinctive reaction, he turned around quickly, picked up his sidearm with the fastest speed, and skillfully aimed at the rear.

The next second, when he saw the scene in front of him, he widened his eyes, full of astonishment.

He had thought it was a monster tracking him, but he did not expect it to be an Individual Mecha from the Dragon Kingdom.

For some reason, the moment he saw the Individual Mecha, the man’s eyes suddenly turned red, as if tears were welling up in them.

At this moment, the loudspeaker on the head of the Individual Mecha emitted a mechanically synthesized voice, breaking the silence of the forest:

”Greetings, respected President Putin!”

President Putin pursed his chapped lips, his voice trembling slightly as he replied:

”You... Hello!”

After the monster disaster erupted in Russia, due to various reasons, they failed to organize effective defenses in the first instance, allowing the monsters to enter as if there were no one there, quickly infiltrating every corner, and the situation deteriorated rapidly.

In the panic, the high-level officials were unable to contact the army to organize defenses in time and could only scatter and flee.

President Putin was on a helicopter at the time, preparing to go to a safe zone to direct operations, but who would have thought the aircraft would suffer a serious malfunction? Helpless, they finally made an emergency landing in this mountain forest.

This mountain forest used to be a place where the former Russian Alliance used to abuse soldiers from Japan. The environment was harsh and rarely visited, and precisely because of this, it became a relatively safe refuge, with no monsters appearing.

After President Putin was trapped here, he tried to contact outside rescue many times. He contacted more than a dozen troops, but they all lost contact inexplicably. He knew in his heart that most likely these troops were wiped out by monsters on their way.

In these long days, President Putin could only survive by hunting some small animals and drinking snow water. The others who were with him took the risk of going out to find human rescue, but none returned, and their fate remained unknown.

”I really want to return to my country now and see what my country has become!”

After President Putin was rescued and brought back to the Dragon Kingdom, he sat on the sofa after resting and firmly put forward his thoughts to Elder Qin.

He noticed that everything in the Dragon Kingdom was orderly now, the defense system was stable, and society was functioning normally; it seemed that the situation in the country should not be too bad, right?

Opposite him, Elder Qin sighed helplessly, then stood up and looked at the window behind him, saying:

”That we could find you, and that you are still alive, is already a miracle.”

”As for the current status of your country... you might not want to know right now.”

President Putin shook his head slightly, his eyes firm:

”I want to know.”

Elder Qin looked at President Putin’s eager and expectant eyes, sighed helplessly, and then signaled the Individual Mecha soldier to play the situation they had previously filmed in various parts of Russia for him.

The screen lit up, and those scenes were shocking.

Russia was no different from other countries suffering from monster invasions; it had been occupied by monsters everywhere.

On the screen, dense crowds of monsters filled every corner. They had various forms; some were covered in slime, some had bloody mouths, emitting waves of nauseating aura, looking extremely disgusting.

Among them, there was no lack of huge beasts; every time they moved, it seemed that the earth trembled because of it.

Moreover, such a scene was not limited to one place; on the vast territory of Russia, many places were in such a miserable state.

Although Russia has a vast territory, the area suitable for human habitation is actually not large, which means that once the monsters started to expand, the speed was quite fast.

Coupled with the fact that the high-level officials fled in a panic when the disaster occurred, and President Putin went missing unexpectedly, the whole country lost its backbone and could not organize effective resistance. The result was that almost all prosperous areas, those cities and towns that used to be bustling and full of life, were completely occupied by monsters in a short time.

President Putin stared at the screen, his hands clenched into fists unconsciously, his knuckles turning white from the exertion!

His eyes were red, full of pain and self-reproach, and he murmured hoarsely to himself:

”It’s all my fault! It’s all my fault!”

”I once promised my teacher that I would protect this land, protect our people, but now...” ”I have failed my mentor!”

”I have failed the people who trusted me!”

His body trembled slightly, his heart filled with deep guilt and remorse.

Elder Qin looked at President Putin in such a state, and he was also full of emotion. He silently placed a document on the table and said slowly:

”Although our approach may be taking advantage of someone’s misfortune, this may be your country’s last chance.”

President Putin endured the grief in his heart, reached out to take the document, and read it carefully word by word.

After reading, he raised his head, with a trace of surprise and hope in his eyes: ”Your country is willing to provide us with five thousand Individual Mecha to help us fight against the monsters? And the condition... is just these resources!”

Elder Qin nodded calmly and explained further:

”To be precise, it is the ten-year mining rights for these resources.”

”However, you must be prepared for these resources to be completely mined by us, after all, we need these resources to deal with the more difficult situation ahead.”

President Putin did not hesitate at all, and without thinking, said firmly:

”I agree to your conditions!”

”Please...”

”Help me restore my country!”

This president, who once held great power and supreme majesty in the Russian Empire, now had to lower his proud head for the sake of his country’s glimmer of life, and made this almost begging request to the Dragon Kingdom.
