Stop Fooling the Us, China Really is Doing This!

Chapter 416 Even if he doesn’t get blown up, he might still die from the fall. The Super Soldier was preparing for a demonstration, and the atmosphere at the scene instantly became tense and oppressive.

Professor Harry stood to the side, a hint of imperceptible worry seemingly hidden deep within his eyes; that trace of anxiety flashed across his gaze like a shadow.

However, he quickly adjusted his state, feigned composure, turned his head, and loudly ordered Stark, ”Bring the gene-strengthening serum over here!”

The Secretary of State seemed startled at this moment, instinctively taking half a step back!

With a look of terror and hesitation on his face, he cautiously asked, ”It won’t suddenly explode again, will it?”

Clearly, the Secretary of State was well aware of Professor Harry’s previous experimental processes, which were full of twists and turns, if not outright tragic.

In past experiments, whenever a mistake occurred, those unfortunate test subjects would, without exception, end up with their bodies swelling uncontrollably and ultimately suffering a miserable self-detonation!

That scene was simply nightmarish, enough to make one’s hair stand on end.

The Secretary of State’s words were like a bombshell, instantly causing the faces of the high-ranking officials present to turn deathly pale!

Involuntarily, those bloody and terrifying images surfaced in their minds, and they all worried secretly!

If this bad luck were to happen again, would they be splattered with blood?

Professor Harry hurried forward, patted his chest, and guaranteed, ”Rest assured, everyone! The effects of our newly improved gene serum are now very stable!”

”At the very least, it can ensure our Super Soldier can continue to fight for several hours without experiencing the previous situation.”

President Biden had been sitting there, his expression as calm as water.

Upon hearing Professor Harry say this, he nodded slightly and calmly spat out a few words: ”Since that’s the case, then let’s begin.”

Although everyone was still faintly worried, seeing President Biden so calm and fearless, they didn’t want to appear like cowardly wimps!

They could only bite the bullet, brace themselves, and observe this crucial test.

Professor Harry walked quickly to Stark and carefully took the gene serum from his hands!

Then, he took a deep breath, as if about to perform a sacred ritual, and slowly injected the serum into the body of the test subject beside him.

In an instant, a heart-wrenching roar of pain erupted from the test subject’s mouth!

The sound seemed to come from the depths of the abyss of hell, making one’s skin crawl.

His face was violently twisted due to extreme pain, his features contorted together, appearing exceptionally hideous and terrifying.

But immediately after, an even more astonishing scene appeared!

His body began to undergo massive changes at a speed visible to the naked eye.

The ordinary stature of about one meter seventy-eight seemed to have been magically enchanted, gradually expanding and stretching until he finally turned into a small giant nearly three meters tall.

During this process, one could clearly hear the ”crack-crack” sounds of bones growing and rearranging crazily; the noise made one’s scalp numb, as if the body might be burst apart by this power at any moment.

At the same time, the control chip on his neck seemed to be awakened, starting to operate at high speed!

It flashed with a faint green light.

The entire transformation process lasted for about a minute, and when everything settled, a Super Soldier who looked as if he had stepped out of mythology appeared before everyone.

His muscles were bulging all over, and every muscle seemed to contain infinite power!

His figure was tall and upright, like a towering little hill, exuding a chilling sense of oppression.

His gaze, however, was somewhat vacant, as if his soul had been extracted!

At this moment, he was panting heavily, his chest heaving violently, as if the recent rebirth had consumed an extreme amount of physical strength.

However, the high-ranking officials of Eagle Sauce were still slightly shocked by this miraculous scene before them!

They widened their eyes, their mouths slightly agape, their faces full of astonishment and disbelief.

But soon, the Secretary of State recovered from his shock!

He frowned, his eyes carrying a trace of doubt and scrutiny!

He asked, ”This guy has indeed become tall and mighty, but we still don’t know anything about his actual combat effectiveness.”

Professor Harry’s mouth curled up slightly, a gleam of confidence flashing in his eyes; he smiled calmly and then elegantly clapped his hands.

Following this crisp sound, a large transport vehicle slowly drove over!

Behind it, it was hauling a massive tank.

This was no ordinary tank; it had once been Eagle Sauce’s most advanced main battle tank, majestic on past battlefields and having established glorious military achievements.

However, times have changed, and with the rapid shifts in the war situation, it could no longer adapt to modern warfare!

It would be no exaggeration to say it was like scrap metal!

Most were now idle in warehouses, covered in dust.

President Biden saw this, frowned slightly, and asked with a puzzled look, ”What are you trying to do?”

Professor Harry, with a hint of pride, gently patted the firm buttocks of the small giant beside him and explained with a smile, ”Naturally, it’s to let you see the true combat power of this Super Soldier.”

As he spoke, he pushed up his slightly slipping glasses, turned his head, and issued a concise and powerful order to the Super Soldier beside him: ”Destroy that tank!”

As soon as the words fell, the chip on the Super Soldier’s neck instantly flashed with a blinding light!

The next second, he moved.

The speed was faster than imaginable, simply ghost-like; everyone felt a blur before their eyes, and it was hard for their eyes to capture his figure.

Almost in the blink of an eye, the Super Soldier crossed a distance of tens of meters, like a black lightning bolt, and instantly reached the tank.

He didn’t hesitate in the slightest, reaching out with his hand, which was as huge as a palm-leaf fan, and grabbed the tank steadily, as if he weren’t grabbing a steel behemoth weighing dozens of tons, but a light tuft of cotton.

Immediately after, he slammed his foot up, muscles tense, like a war god about to erupt, and kicked out fiercely.

With a loud ”boom,” the tank was instantly kicked into the sky!

It flew hundreds of meters high!

It drew an arc in the air, as if trying to pierce through the clouds.

The Secretary of State was shocked, his eyes wide as copper bells, and he blurted out, ”Good heavens! This is a heavy tank weighing dozens of tons, and it was kicked away by him so easily!”

The other high-ranking officials were also too shocked to close their mouths, their faces full of awe and astonishment!

They exclaimed one after another, ”Too powerful, is this still human?”

”Dragon Nation relies on advanced mechs to have this kind of combat power, right? We don’t need to rely on mechs, and we can actually achieve such astonishing combat power?!”

Clearly, this was far from the true peak of the Super Soldier’s strength.

After the tank was kicked away, the Super Soldier did not stop there; he bent his legs slightly, like a cheetah ready to pounce, and then, with a leap, he soared hundreds of meters high, looking like a massive meteor in the air.

He swung his fist, which was the size of a sand pot, with massive power gathering on it as if it could shatter the stars, and then, aiming at the tank still flying in the air, he swung that fist that seemed capable of smashing everything without hesitation.

”BOOM!!!!!”

Amidst the exclamations of the crowd, the heavy tank that Eagle Sauce was so proud of was actually smashed to pieces by this single punch.

In an instant, flames shot into the sky, and the shockwave from the explosion spread in all directions like surging waves, making the surrounding air hum.

The scene was like a death rose blooming grandly in the sky, incomparably splendid! Yet, it was filled with the aura of destruction.

”Too, too, too, too, too... too powerful!!!”

The Secretary of State was so excited his face flushed red, his hands clenched into fists, jumping up and down continuously!

His eyes were full of joy, as if he saw the dawn of Eagle Sauce rising and dominating the world once again.

President Biden also clenched his fists, his face overflowing with a sense of relief after being suppressed for so long; he felt as if he had been oppressed for a long time, and this time he could finally hold his head high and stand tall.

However, soon, looking at the explosion in the sky that was as splendid as doomsday fireworks, he couldn’t help but worry again!

He frowned and said, ”Our Super Soldier won’t be blown up, will he?”

The Secretary of State also chimed in, ”From such a height, even if he isn’t blown up, he might still fall to his death!”

However, just as everyone was full of worry!

Another dull ”boom” sounded!

A black shadow, like a falling meteorite, slammed heavily onto the ground.
