Super Electric Eel Avatar

173 Unknown Weapon
At present, there were four warships, two Ferro real class frigates, and two 2,000 tons of offshore patrol ships.

Through the dark night sky, the electric eel could penetrate the block of the water’s concrete appearance, to see the real shape of the few ships that had 169, 170, NS04, NS07… several big words painted on the shipboard, but he could not determine if they were navy and from which country.

”Bezik, are you sure it’s a submarine?” Captain Paget asked the captain who was in another destroyer through video communications.

”Little George, would I, Old Bez, cheat you? I assure you, the submarine beneath our feet, which is not moving, is a submarine. And I am also sure that it is definitely not a European or American submarine! You quickly get someone to listen to the sonar array,” he said. ”Just record the sound of this unknown submarine, and that’s definitely a big contribution!”

’I warn you, I’ll divorce your sister immediately if you call me little George again! What if this submarine decides to stay here and deal with us?” Paget made a serious face and said stiffly.

”Then we’ll see who will win! So we just released a total of three active sonar detection waves, through computer calculation, and found that the submarine is between 80 and 90 meters in length. This type of submarine would not be from a poor country of Africa. If the submarine from another country came here, it means it must be an unlimited range, nuclear-powered submarine.”

”Would it be possible that it was blown by the mine we left here and had sunk?”

”If it can’t even find a 20year-old water mine, how could it be a nuclear submarine?” Bezik shaking his head, looked at Paget with a you’re an idiot look. ”They could have also been attracted by the explosion. I have reported the problem to the naval command, to let them investigate exactly which country’s submarine this is, which was so bold to come here.”

It had to be said that the efficiency of the military is high, when the two were talking, an encrypted file transmitted through satellite, from the French naval command to the two frigates.

After their investigation, the European Union had no nuclear submarine which performed combat duty there. The nuclear submarine was not from the United States either. France was a follower of the United States, although they did not know their nuclear submarine course. But if there was a submarine coming to the gate of their base, they would be notified in advance, to let them welcome it.

Why did this unidentified submarine come here, they didn’t care, they just needed to record the sound of the submarine!

A submarine voice print was equivalent to an ID card number. As long as the dynamic system of submarine noise was recorded, it could easily be detected after filtering the complex sea noise through the computer. They no longer had to use a sonar technician to listen to the noise and determine whether there was a submarine.

When two countries are in a war, a sonar array that could be identified 200 nautical miles away was the nightmare of a submarine that had had its sonar recorded.

The sound of a nuclear-powered submarine, no doubt, any country would spend a huge amount of money to buy it. Also, they were willing to spend a certain amount of effort to collect it.

The four warships that were floating on the water’s surface were all the ships of the French embassy in the Djibouti overseas naval base. When their monitoring station monitored an explosion, they immediately sent frigates to the position, to investigate what caused an explosion. When the active sonar was not released, a long strip of an unidentified object was found lying on the seabed using a computer simulation system.

Bezik felt his head buzzing, and immediately ordered the active sonar to be shut down and monitored using passive sonar. It was possible to record the sound of the submarine in the area where the waters are stable and have no underwater volcanic activity.

..........

”This is not a drill, this is not a drill, this is a combat mission, the pilot is ready to take off in 10 minutes! Repeat, this is not an exercise...”

At the French base in Djibouti, 26 miles south of the electric eel, there was a sudden influx of people rushing into the hangar in a panic.

Djibouti was occupied by France in 1882. After 85 years of colonial history, France finally approved its independence. But the French still established large-scale integration of land, sea, and air bases, to engage with the United States to control and lay a solid foundation in the red sea.

Soon, three 42-meter long, heavily equipped European A400M transport aircraft with propellers on both sides, moved to the four ships’ position at the speed of light.

At the same time, there were three minefields in the naval base.

The position of the electric eel was where the channel was only 20 km wide. The naval commander, after receiving the puzzling damage from the sonar, immediately decided to send the mine conveyor and boat to directly block the sea more than 20 kilometers wide, to force the submarine to float, and to get explanation of what weapon was used, so that it could destroy the whole piece of sonar!

After all, the mine could be recycled, and there was no waste at all!

The first to arrive in the sea was, of course, two large transport aircraft, and they were arranged in two straight lines, flying low and slowly opened the cabin, splashing a mine every hundred meters like pouring rain. When the huge mine hit into the sea,

it splashed a full 10 meters of waves.

Twenty-three km of the strait, according to a mine per 100 meters, there were 230 of them. Then, in a linear position, there was one every 150 meters. With a total of 460, the whole area would be blocked.

”Damn, are they truly fighting against me?” Chen Fan, of course, noticed the movement of the electric eel more than two 2,000 meters away. The mine, which was about the size of the eggs, had been detonated. Bang!Bang!Bang! Smashing into the water, depressing the electric eel!

Looking at each of the four motionless warships, it felt as if a thousand rhinos rampaged through its brain.

It would take a day for the electric eel to recover its most basic combat capability, but the key was Chen Fan had not slept for two days and was bombed. It was already very lucky that he had not fainted. Now they were not only not moving away, they were blocking him with mines.

Chen Fan, while keeping a close eye on the movement, used the electric current to stimulate the wound cells, so that it would cure and regain faster.

Half an hour later...

The electric eel nibbled at the tip of the tongue, struggling from half asleep, feeling his eyes tearing due to lack of sleep. He couldn’t bear it anymore. If he did not find some place to sleep, he would be bombed to death or be trapped!

The exit was all filled with mines, the electric eel that was now covered with wounds was unable to withstand any more pain, and could only move into the straits!

..............

Waiting for the the two planes and boat to place the mines, the sonar technician security grabbed the headphones and put them on his head. He tried to distinguish the various band of sound in the ocean under the towed sonar noise, trying to find out if there was a trace of submarine action in it.

He was so confident in his hearing that he joined the fleet in the first year of the army, and entered the top three, which impressed all the veterans. He was the first in the following three years. Since it was a nuclear-powered submarine lurking there, as long as he managed to record the sound it would be as easy as drinking water for him to jump three to four ranks higher.

However, it was probably his most unlucky day ever. In the ordinary sea noise, there suddenly came a severe electromagnetic acoustic, and he painfully pulled off headset and fell on the ground, clutching his ears and crying.

Of course, the other 36 of them, like him, were all covering their ears and rolling on the ground.

Du...Du ...Du..., the shrill alarm sound immediately sounded in four warships, accompanied by the red warning lights flashing. This represented the highest level of alarm that could only be activated when a ship was about to be torpedoed or encountered a major accident.

”Captain, it’s not good. All our towing sonar has failed, and we suspect that the submarine’s unknown equipment is interfering!”

”Quick, into battle mode, open the shipboard active sonar detection, immediately activate the torpedo tank pressurization, set the deep-water bomb to explode at 300 meters’ depth. Once we have targeted, immediately release!” Paget did not bother with what the submarine used to disturb the sonars. It was more important to go into combat mode now.

Bang!

The active sonar detection wave, mounted on the ship’s belly, had just opened the host, and a cloud of white smoke broke out, and the system immediately cut off the power supply.

The release of the voltage of the electric eel due to extreme anger, not only caused the exposed electronic components in the towing sonar to break down, it even completely destroyed the active sonar generator posted at the bottom of the ship!

But the results were only limited to that, and warships are very strict about the manufacturing requirements of the shell, not only against seawater corrosion, to prevent the magnetic, high-temperature resistance, high voltage resistance, and three to five layers of quality material would be brushed below the waterline, so the voltage will not penetrate the ”turtle shell” that was half a meter thick.

”Base, please immediately send someone to increase the export of bray density, to a line a hundred meters deep. The warship’s sonar equipment is disturbed by unknown weapons. We must keep it here!” Bezik’s face was contorted as he shouted into the microphone.

Chen Fan, who was now in a rut, could only take the initiative to break through their towed sonar array and move through the channel.

The whole body was hurt. Even the slightest movement hurt like being cut by a knife. But now it could only hide and sleep, and wait to recover!

The electric eel’s main motion was to rely on the tail swing, but it had a big cut across the top. When it shook, the wound that had been covered by a layer of film, tore again, and thick dark red blood permeated out. The other wound tore when it had not even swum a dozen meters.

”The roof leaks in the raining night!” Chen Fan at this moment was too depressed and lazy to get angry. Anyway, this grudge would be born by him. As soon as the electric eel recovered, he would definitely have revenge on the French naval commander!

At 6:30 local time, 11:25 in France…

As commander of the naval fleet command, Admiral Sabourin felt deeply responsible. In recent years, many countries underwater geometric growth, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Vietnam, and Malaysia was equipped with submarines. Of course, the most important thing to pay attention to was the nuclear submarines of Russia and China.

Although according to the maritime security agreement, the world’s warships and submarines were not allowed to invade other countries’ territory and overseas military installations, what about running into the no-fly zone? Everything would be fine if it had not been discovered. If you’re really caught, you’ll be unlucky enough and could not use an excuse like a navigation error, or something like that.

Of course, the captain would be severely punished, and the reason for the punishment was not why he entered the area, but why he was found out. That’s how he punished his men.

But he couldn’t figure out which country developed the latest weapon, which could suddenly interfere with all the sonar?

”General, Djibouti naval technology department has analyzed the reason for the sonar damage!” The Adjutant’s report interrupted his thoughts. An update on the situation was on his desk.
