240 Chen Fan’s Anger
”F*ck!” Chen Fan was raging in his heart. How could such a beautiful maiden have made such a fearless statement?

An abandoned mistress? She does not seem like one. Not many people are willing to spend so much on their mistresses.

A rich girl who has just got her heart broken in a relationship? She seemed to be suffering from ”Princess Syndrome”. This is a big possibility for an explanation!

She looked like she was in her 20s. It is difficult to gage if a person of that age is childish or mature. Their brains run faster than those who are in their 30s, but sometimes, they act no different from kindergarteners.

For instance, they will do things without thinking about the consequences or hysterically act on their emotions! The lady in front of Chen Fan was a good example of this theory.

”Bro, are you shocked?” The pretty maiden snickered. ”What are you waiting for? Win the race, and I’ll be yours tonight.”

”Okay!” Chen Fan gestured with two of his fingers in determination. Before he could take any action, the Aston Martin drove off at lightning speed. The poor engine sounded like an asthmatic patient.

”Gosh! What a freak!” Chen Fan shook his head, pressed the accelerator slowly. and lowered the speed to a hundred while listening his radio music in a relaxed manner.

The maiden was really pretty. Her ponytail cascaded down her waist and she had a seductive figure and supple skin. It was as if beauty and fairness were etched in her bones. A lady of her type would definitely attract the gaze of all men, no matter where she goes, including Chen Fan.

Unfortunately, the lady used the wrong method to attract. If she had come up to him and said in a sheepish manner, ”You… You are so handsome… I…. I…”, perhaps Chen Fan might have been seduced by her. However, she uttered, ”I will be yours tonight…” instead.

Although she was genuinely pretty, Chen Fan was terrified of the ladies who made the first move, especially those who did so on strangers! In reality, a majority of men share this habit. They fantasize about sexy encounters with beautiful ladies all the time. However, when they actually meet a female stranger that is eager to have sex with them, they turn timid, too afraid to approach her.

The reason for this is that sex is a rather primitive and vulnerable act. During this process, both the male and female are especially sensitive, and they wish to feel secure and in-control of the situation.

Having sex with a female stranger will take away the security and dominance that can be derived from the act itself. It would also increase the uncertainty of things. Anyone who is cautious will definitely refuse to do so at first glance.

However, Chen Fan had underestimated the stubbornness of this ”freak”. He merely relaxed for less than 30 minutes and yet the deafening sounds of roaring engines could be hear from afar. Its uproarious roars had completely blanketed the ”terrestrial beast”. The Aston Martin then passed by Chen Fan at full throttle, driving toward him with a cool drift.

”Bro, you seem to be neglecting me! Am I not attractive enough for you?” The young maiden spoke fiercely, a strong emphasis being placed on her last sentence.

”No, no, no! You’re pretty and I’m extremely attracted to you!” Chen Fan smiled with his teeth, then uttered calmly, ”I’m sorry. I still have something important to settle, so I can’t race with you today. We can exchange contact numbers. Once I’m free, we can race again.”

”Hah!” She sneered. ”Don’t you dare say you’re busy as an excuse, or any other ridiculous reasons, like you’re going to meet the CEO or something! Are there any businessmen who drive a Lamborghini Embolado? Most of them would be driving a Passat. I know you are the child of a nouveau riche, so don’t act like you’re a progressive man!”

”How about you? How did you get the Aston Martin?”

”I stole it!”

”Come on! Are we going to race or not? If you win this, I will go home with you tonight!”

”Let’s not race. I’ve only just got my driving license for less than a week. I’m worried that I will rollover my car.” Chen Fan smiled helplessly. It was rather depressing to stumble upon such a freak on the road.

”You coward!” The young maiden rolled her eyes at him, as if she was looking down on an erectile dysfunction patient, her gaze filled with disdain and despise.

Crazily enough, he found her disdainful expression oddly attractive and charming. However, instead of acting like a salivating pervert, Chen Fan desperately wanted to crush her under his feet. Her words had really triggered the sensitive spot in his heart, sending him into a fuming rage.

A beautiful woman had voluntarily presented herself to him on a silver platter, and yet he still refused. Isn’t that a cowardly act? If this scenario were to happen in a novel, the male protagonist’s adrenaline would increase madly. Even Michael Schumacher would be crushed under his feet!

”Goodbye, my Bourgeois of Southern Han!” After the young maiden spit those words in his face, she then pressed on the accelerator and left.

”Bourgeois of Southern Han?” Chen Fan could not even react to the statement. The moment when the Aston Martin’s rear tail lamp could no longer be seen, he burst out in anger, ”You’re the Bourgeois of Southern Han!”

To be addressed as a Bourgeois could be generally regarded as praise, as ”Bourgeois” was used to address the children of the courtiers in the past. However, the calling of ”young master” was only used by wealthy families. Hence, both of the appellations are on completely different spectrums.

However, why was Chen Fan in a rage and having such strong desires to kill, when somebody addressed him as the Bourgeois of Southern Han? The reason was that the Southern Han during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period was very different from other dynasties.

To explain: There once was a ”kind” king who ruled the kingdom, whose name was Liu Chang. When he took the throne, he announced a representative policy. Anyone who had successfully passed the highest imperial examinations, or anyone who ranked higher than the advanced-scholars, were mandated for castration.

This meant that those who wanted to work for his court would have to castrate themselves. After the policy was implemented, everyone was turned into spados. Even their children couldn’t escape from this fate, as they could only maintain the family’s honor and wealth by working for his court. As such, their children would also all be castrated, except the eldest sons.

The maiden said he was Bourgeois of Southern Han. This meant that she had ridiculed him by basically calling him an eunuch! So provoking!

She had provoked him to the depths of his core! Chen Fan believed that such horrendous humiliation could only be settled with blood!

Chen Fan gave up on being cautious, neither did he still care about security or dominancy. He put all feeling aside, determining that he should fight for his honor boldly!

”I’m as masculine as superman!” Chen Fan clenched his jaw and pressed the accelerator thoroughly, squeezing the inner potential of the ”Beast”

The speed increased from a hundred to 220 km/h in merely 9.7 seconds. Even the ever changing scenery outside the car window could not distract him at all.

...

Zhang Bingbing watched the grey sports car speed past her in disbelief. An ear-piercing drifting sound could be heard. Then, finally, it ended in an extremely exaggerated and thrilling manner. When the vigorously rotating spoiler approached the steel fences with a mere gap of 20 centimeters, she covered her captivating red lips with her left fist to hold herself back from screaming.

Looking at the aggressive ”Grey Monster”, which had halted horizontally in the middle of road and now blocked her way completely, Zhang Bingbing suddenly felt a hint of fear.
