Super Electric Eel Avatar

172 Serious Injury
Rumble...

In an instant, a round gas wave expanded from the coral clumps ahead and in 0.0001 seconds, it was turning into a white cloud.

And then... this beautiful white round cloud, as if it were 1,000 horses, swept over everything in its path with destruction.

The electric eel felt the whole sea and sky like a hurricane suddenly burst out in a violent shake. Boom! After the sound, the eel was suppressed by a humming sound in its ears. It didn’t wait for his mind and body to respond. The electric eel was completely covered with some unknown stuff from the fragments of the shock wave.

What kind of scene was that...

An area of more than 500 meters of a large coral plexus was directly wiped out by the explosion. A hole with a diameter of more than 50 meters was blown out. Thousands of tons of seabed sediment and 10,000 tons of water were blown out dozens of meters high by the shock wave. The sea level rose with a huge water column, as if a huge iceberg plunged in the water.

Pain... pain... pain...

With endless pain, the electric eel was blown a few hundred meters away and his back felt like it was on fire. His head felt like it was being hit with a sledgehammer and he kept seeing stars.

That fully 3.5-meters-long, two-meters-thick egg-shaped mine—the feeling was imprinted in Chen Fan’s heart for a long time.

Yes—there was a huge magnetic mine in the coral reef!

The device worked based on an internal magnetic needle fuse. It exploded when it sensed the huge electromagnetic waves coming from the electric eel or when it was ignited by a huge voltage that charged the internal explosive and suddenly burst.

What does a mine do?

It was a way humans dealt with submarines and ships, and this power was produced by the purest human weapons of war. The mine was an absolute one among weapons, destroying targets in one hit. During the first and second World Wars, up to 5,000 ships were sunk and many men were wounded by mines.

Different volumes of mines had different ground damage killing forces. This was just b*llsh*t!

The electric eel would have been torn to pieces if it had not been for its distance from the mine’s explosion. These big mines could blow up all types of nuclear submarines in the world within a distance of 10 meters. Even if a ship of 5,000 to 8,000 tons came along, it would be blown up!

If the electric eel’s scales and muscle tissue had not been greatly strengthened by the ghost moon incense, the blast would have killed it.

At a distance of 130 meters, it was hit by this torpedo. What did that mean for the electric eel?

Like a constricted boa constrictor, it crouched on the seafloor, enduring intense pain. It released an electromagnetic wave inside the body to detect the seriousness of the injury.

The injury was indeed very serious. It was just hit by the strong shock wave and it directly made the scales of the electric eel’s whole body split out into 21 cuts of different depths. The bright red blood dyed the nearby seawater red.

Fortunately, only the external injuries of the electric eel were tragic. The internal organs did not appear to be damaged but injuries from shock are inevitable. The pain caused by even the slightest movement made him felt like crying.

The worst wound down its spine was 13 meters long, nearly a half meter deep. Because of the electric eel’s position when it fled, the main destruction of the kinetic energy of the shock wave was made here.

The wound, 50 centimeters deep, had pierced into the electric eel’s scales that were more than 20 centimeters thick, wounding its inner muscles. Using the induction, he saw there were seven veins ruptured. However, it did not hurt the aortic blood vessels. After all, the aortic blood vessels were deeply buried in the muscle, so general damage could not hurt them.

Many of the other injuries were caused by the sudden pressure of the explosion, which caused a total of four meridians to be damaged with an average depth of about 30 centimeters.

Internal injuries could not be treated for the time being, so the first solution was to cure the external injuries. A total of more than 20 large and small wounds all over the body was definitely a big project. The eel’s head was buzzing. Chen Fan could not concentrate and carefully deal with the wounds. He simply adjusted the voltage to 341 volts, then detected all the wounds using the frequency most suitable for cell division to make it self-heal.

The induction was definitely something amazing. It was 10 times more useful than the Yunnan white medicine.

If he took an optical microscope to observe the electric eel’s wound on the body’s surface, he would see countless fibrin muscle tissues in crazy secretion, and the inside of the capillaries and veins of platelets rapidly condensing. The wound, which was still bleeding profusely, was gradually covered with a white film. That was the layer of accumulation left over when dead and damaged cells were swallowed by new cells.

Chen Fan thought that the electric eel only felt like dying now. He was depressed and in endless pain.

This kind of feeling was extremely bad. It was just like the big knight on the top 10 of the list of the strongest on the field who was shocked by a certain young boy who had made a start on the field. It was as if a soldier had been trained with all kinds of combat skills to the peak of human ability but on his first day on the battlefield, accidentally stepped on a rusting anti-infantry mine and fell into lifelong disability.

In the case of preparation, if it were a direct fight and not a passive attack mine, he could completely ignore it, even if it were the installation of the torpedo turbine engine. If he sped it could not surpass him. If he didn’t feel like running, he could release an effective radiation range of more than 1,000 meters high to blow it up.

But who did this? Putting a mine in such place!

Djibouti.

In a country so poor that even a mouse wouldn’t want to live there, the navy was so pitiful that no one had the intention of bullying them—a navy of 60 men, not to mention small submarines. Even the 300 tons of patrol boats were refurbished. It was obvious that the torpedo was a foreign product. As to why it was there, he had to ask the god who ruled this place!

The wound was no longer bleeding and Chen Fan was too lazy to continue the treatment. Now the electric eel was burning in pain. It had just been through a violent explosion. The sound was likely to be heard by the residents of the nearby merchant ships and on shore, so this was not technically a place to rest.

However, the point was that the electric eel couldn’t move at all now or the wound would break apart again. After thinking about the 60-member naval force in Djibouti, Chen Fan decided that there should be no danger for the time being.

Most of the time, things were not as good as we thought they were; otherwise, there would be no such thing as a person who could be unlucky enough to drown in a meter water.

Tut… tut... tut...

In the water that had already calmed down with dead fish floating on the surface, a sudden pounding started indicating there was a large ship propeller in the distance. About 20 seconds passed. The sound was getting louder, followed by the visual of the ship which was 120 meters in length, 15 meters wide and 5,000 tons with a draft of 4.4 meters, coming fast to the area where the mine just exploded.

Chen Fan’s first reaction was the international warships in the Gulf of Aden heard the sound, but then he rejected the thought. The distance into the passage of the Red Sea was more than 200 li. Even if 100 mines had burst, they still wouldn’t have been able to hear it. Even if they turned on the passive sonar monitor, it would be too late.

As for Djibouti…

If they had such a ship... it was more credible if Ultraman had come!

Dong...

The ship was 800 meters from the explosion point, 300 meters from the electric eel. The bottom of the sea suddenly shook and a sound clearer than a big bell in the temple was heard. It shot across thousands of meters in the water.

”Mother f**king!” Chen Fan, who had had a similar experience many times, understood it immediately. This was a Navy ship activating their active sonar.

The speed of sound in water was 1,433 meters per second and there was no hiding place more than 300 meters away. The electric eel’s body lying on the seabed did not have any stealth coating material and it definitely would be detected!

I’m done… I’m done. Chen Fan’s heart sank at the moment, not because he was afraid his true identity would be found, but because the electric eel was now very seriously injured and he couldn’t control it to flee away from the sonar range.

Dong...

Another wave of active sonar was sweeping in!

He could not expect it to flee, so it was honestly better for it to stay there. Let them think that the electric eel was a submarine. Since it was a peaceful era, the other side would only try to figure out the model and nationality of the ”submarine,” and would not rush to attack it!

In case the ship dropped torpedoes or mines, the electric eel could immediately release voltage to detonate it at the farthest distance. He would see who would win at last.

Facts proved that the ship didn’t have any intention of attacking. When it released the third active sonar detection wave, it immediately shut down the engine and the active sonar. Then a 10-meter-long cylindrical object tied at the end of a cable was slowly dropped from the bottom of the cabin into the sea.

Chen Fan could easily guess this was the passive sonar detector!

The crew must have spotted the electric eel, and turned off their active sonar and engines to prevent the submarine from locking them in. Of course, if an unidentified submarine were to hide here, it would be too late!

A missile frigate and a super electric eel were locked in a motionless standoff, one frightened and the other wounded.

Twenty minutes later...

This area of the sea was in a noisy outburst. Three different types of different tonnage warships gradually came. The tail of one of the ships was towing a linear sonar array on a wire.

The towed sonar array was an updated version of the passive sonar. On a cable a kilometer or two long, tens to hundreds of listening and active sonar were lined up. According to the order bundle, these were currently the most effective tools to detect submarines!

Come on, come on, all come over! Chen Fan simply showed a mentality of, what do you think you could do to me?
