Super Electric Eel Avatar

221 Once and For All
”Ohno sir, the prime minister already knows about this now, and is placing heavy emphasis on it. I think you should know what to do.” The defense minister’s tone started to turn cold. ”According to meteorological data, there is no evidence yet to show that the cargo ship sank due to unforeseeable factors. Clearly, this incident is due to the quality of your ship. Thus, you should bear the responsibility.”

”Defense minister sir, before you have any evidence, please do not doubt me and my family’s qualities.” Nakagawa Ohno’s voice was extremely stiff, as if it contained gunpowder.

”Alright. I believe in your character. However, do you know how much loss we have suffered because of this trade? It cannot even be measured using money. Just take the 64 war vehicles for example. These vehicles, which we ordered from the USA, are customized to cater to Japan’s geography and urban features.

”In the vehicles, 35% of the structures have been modified. Even the fire-control systems are all in Japanese. After we placed the orders, it took us a year and a half before the trade was completed. Also, much of the ammunition consists of customized and non-standard products. This time, they all sank and if we want to order them again, we need to wait for at least another year. The shipwreck this time is really too bizarre. I think those people in the Cabinet will definitely use this chance to kick up a big fuss.”

After hanging up, the man standing next to Nakagawa Ohno asked softly, ”Uncle, what should be do?”

”Ask the people in the family to lay low during this period. The ship accident is really weird. Together with Emi’s disappearance, I suspect that someone is behind all this.”

”Could it be the Mitsui family?”

”We cannot confirm for now, but they are the most likely ones.” Nakagawa Ohno stared at the sky with an evil look. ”If they do make a big fuss about the ship’s accident, then don’t blame me for not considering the feelings of the previous generation.”

...

”What should I do?” Lying on the bed, Chen Fan controlled the electric eel to swim towards the Graff sea lanes, while he himself could not close his eyes.

It was clear to him that he could not let Nakagawa Emi off. Otherwise, she would definitely inform her family that he was the one who caused the ammunition ship to sink.

Initially he wanted to send Nakagawa Emi to the police station, so that the police could send her to the Qingpu prison in Tianhai. That place was specially made to lock up foreign criminals. However, now the situation had changed, and even if she were sent to prison, she might still be able to inform her family about the truth.

This was a difficult situation that Chen Fan could not avoid. The only way was to kill her once and for all.

Speaking of killing, Chen Fan had killed people before. When he was chased by a car full of bandits with guns in Myanmar, he shot two of them without hesitation. Afterwards, he did not feel much guilt about the killing.

However, that was a deadly encounter and he could have died if he had not killed the other people. This time, however, he had to kill a lady who could not even fight back...

Although Chen Fan was hesitant, this still would not change her destiny.

”When the electric eel returns from Libya, I will kill her!” Gritting his teeth, Chen Fan closed his eyes and started to concentrate on controlling the electric eel.

Just the day before, the Ohno group had given Chen Fan 3,000,000 barrels of crude oil as stated in the agreement. Chen Fan was planning to let the electric eel destroy a few more oil wells, so that they would not have enough oil by the next delivery.

If he had to destroy a few oil wells each time, even an idiot could eventually figure out that it was not simply an unlucky accident but someone causing the damage. Hence, he decided to do some serious damage this time so that they would spend a long time fixing the problems.

Now the electric eel only needed a day and a half to reach Libya via the Arctic Ocean beside Russia. The electric eel swam towards its destination continuously and by the time it arrived, it was exactly 7pm locally.

The electric eel came urgently from 800 kilometers away and without resting first, went to the bottom of the number two drilling platform while it was still dusk. After one round of inspection, no monitoring devices were discovered.

The particular drilling platform was built above a sea zone that was 170 meters deep. The oil control valve was a few meters high and was lying below the oil extraction pipe, which was as thick as a water tank. Chen Fan wanted to cause some damage below the valve, where the pipe connecting the drilling platform and the oil beneath the seabed was located.

If the pipe below the valve was damaged, repairing it would be as difficult as drilling a completely new well.

That was because after the oil reservoir was drilled open, the original mechanical equilibrium was broken. When the pipe was inserted below the seabed, many substances were needed to be attached to its surroundings to protect the walls of the pipe and to prevent any geological deformation caused by the pressure change during drilling. This was the same reason a culvert was used in a well.

The substances used could be those that were resistant to collapse, such as water-based mud, oil-based mud or emulsified mud. Otherwise, a rigid armored layer could also be used to cover the exterior, its interior filled with elastic protection materials.

Of course, in order to destroy it to the extent where repair would be difficult, the electric eel had to become a temporary mining worker. It had to dig over 10 meters deep below the valve. In that case, no matter how many divers they sent undersea, it would be pointless, as they would not be able to dig for over 10 meters with their bare hands!

Over 10 meters was not a big problem for the electric eel, which had already grown to almost 100 meters long. Every time it inserted the spear into the mud with force, it was able to dig up a huge piece of the mud.

The control room in the drilling platform above was silent. There were only two bored technicians staring at the data from the machines. Now that everything was already automated, they only needed to supervise.

”Huh? Ota, why is the valve’s crude oil detector indicating a huge drop in the oil flow rate all of a sudden?”

”Ha, you must be mistaken!” Kubo Ota laughed for a while, and then his expression petrified. Rubbing his eyes quickly, he confirmed that he was definitely not mistaken.

”Why did the oil output decrease by 87%, but there is no change in the pipe’s pressure?”

”That is because the pipe itself is bent or deformed, causing some oil to be blocked, but it is not damaged, so the pressure remains the same.” The two technicians started at each other, their faces turning pale. They could tell from the other person’s look that something bad was happening.

In one day, the same unfortunate incident happened to platforms two, four and seven. All of them experienced a bending in the pipe below the valve. The damage was the worst in platform seven. Oil production almost stopped completely, as its oil output was fewer than 100 barrels per hour.

Actually, Chen Fan also damaged platform number five. However, the valve in that oil well was still under repair, so the damage was undetected.

Chen Fan did not use the electric eel to cause another oil leakage. Such killer methods could only be used when they refused to make payment. If the valves of all seven oil wells were destroyed, it would probably cause an oil leakage worse than the one in the Gulf of Mexico.

The electric eel then spent another day and a half to return to the cave. Even though Chen Fan was indecisive, he needed to continue with what had to be done.

He had to kill Nakagawa Emi!

There were many ways to kill her, but Chen Fan chose the quickest, most painless method.

He planned to use a gun!

Did he have a gun?

Yes he did, and actually not just any gun.

He had the M4A1 fully automatic rifle, the M82A3 anti-materiel rifle, light machine guns, the MK190 cannon, man-portable anti-tank rocket launchers, Predator missiles, night vision goggles, grenades, plastic explosives, land mines and more, all of which were weapons from the United States Marine Corps.

All of the weapons were obtained from the ammunition ship by the electric eel. When Chen Fan was looking at the boxes of weapons from the electric eel’s perspective, he did not feel anything special, but now that he was looking at them with his own body, he was shocked. The boxes were like mini versions of cargo trucks from Dongfeng Cummins!

There were 20 huge boxes and the amount of ammunition inside was sufficient to arm a few hundred farmers to the level of special forces.

”Nakagawa Emi, when you reach hell, don’t blame me for being so cruel!” Shaking his head, Chen Fan took out a silenced Beretta M9 from the pile of weapons.

Hiding the gun, he took a deep breath and entered the submarine.

After entering the interior, he went to the kitchen first and made a simple meal with milk and eggs. Holding the hot food, he pushed the metal door open.

Noticing some movement, Nakagawa Emi, who was curled up at the corner of the room, turned her head around with difficulty.

”You are hungry, right?” Chen Fan approached her and put the hot food on the ground. ”Don’t hurry. First, I will free you from the ropes.”

”What do you want to do?” Nakagawa Emi’s expression turned stiff. It is a common saying that if someone does something unusual, there is definitely a motivation behind it. Chen Fan’s behavior at the moment was very ”unusual.”

”Nothing. Because of your good performance recently, I have decided to send you off.” Chen Fan twirled his finger and took the knife from the plate, using it to cut the ropes around Nakagawa Emi’s body. He then stood up and backed off a few steps.

Even though Nakagawa Emi was very doubtful, she was too hungry to think about anything else. She had to eat something first.

Chen Fan had to admit that Nakagawa Emi’s self-control was quite amazing. Although she was so starved that she could almost eat her own fingers, she still drank the milk elegantly and ate the eggs slowly.

She spent eight minutes finishing the large glass of milk and four eggs.

”Did you say that you will let me off?” She wiped her lips and in the meantime hid a pair of chopsticks in her sleeve without trace.

Even chopsticks could be used to kill a person, by sticking them into his eyes and into his brain!

”Huh... Oh!” Chen Fan, who had been staring around blankly, came back to reality. Then, his expression changed in a split second, even faster than the opera face-changing master, Peng Denghuai.

Ten seconds later, his expression returned to normal but Nakagawa Emi took over the ”facing-changing job.” Her face turned from pale to gray within 0.5 seconds!

That was because a silenced Beretta M9 appeared in front her eyes!

”You... you... didn’t you say that you would let me off?” Nakagawa Emi was trembling like a sheep left alone in the snow, looking extremely pitiful.

”I said I will send you off! Not let you off!”

Clack! Chen Fan pulled the gun’s bolt. ”The word ’send’ has many meanings, such as send someone, send away and send to hell. I will send you to the last one.”

”You will pay for your actions!” Nakagawa Emi stared straight at Chen Fan using her emotionless eyes with a frightening look.

”Aye, do you think it is meaningful for us to continue speaking here? Instead, you should start praying that humans do have souls, because you can still survive when you reach hell!”

Chen Fan shook his head and lifted the corners of his lips. ”I can tell you a piece of good news. Humans do have souls, because my own is moving around every day.”

Finished, he closed his eyes and his index finger quickly pulled the trigger.

Pht! As his index finger moved, a loud gunshot was heard.
