236 The Charm Brought by Technology
The inertia from the silverback gorilla’s swinging movement was so horribly strong that the Mystic Panther didn’t stand a chance. Thus, it could only take the beatings.

Bam! Bam Bam!

Chen Fan couldn’t recall how many times the silverback giant had thrown the panther around. He knew that the Mystic Panther’s green metallic skin had been torn apart by sharp rocks on the ground. It was even bleeding from its nose and mouth.

Meanwhile, every single time the silverback giant gorilla swung its shoulders, the wounds on its body expanded from its movement. Red blood spattered from the gorilla onto the Mystic Panther’s body. There was no clear difference whose blood was whose anymore.

Just like an elderly person nearing the end of their life journey, the movements of the silverback gorilla were slowing down with every passing moment. On its final attempt to lift its arm, it no longer had the energy to throw the panther down again. With a dull thud, like a robot that ran out of battery power, it fell headfirst on the desert ground.

”You might not be the smartest, but I’m in awe of your courage!” Chen Fan sighed, as he looked at the silverback giant gorilla with sympathy.

To be honest, Chen Fan had witnessed quite a few animal fights before. No matter how brutal it was or how much blood was spilled, he was quite used to it already.

However, to see a warrior that knew its own end was coming, but kept going anyway, that was the telltale sign of a warrior that only cared about killing its enemy. Now, this was something he had never seen before.

Even though the group of silverback gorillas had now lost their leader, they didn’t lose their spirits. The last five heavily injured gorillas howled and growled, all charging towards the Mystic Panther, expressing their anger with brutality!

The first gorilla that got to the Mystic Panther locked both hands into a fist, then jumped and slammed its fists from a 90 degrees angle with all its might onto the panther.

FHOOM!

This heavy blow almost pounded the Mystic Panther’s bladder out from its body. There was dust everywhere and a tremendously loud noise echoed, causing people to wonder if the panther had been squashed into a teppanyaki squid.

Then, suddenly, something unexpected happened. The giant python, who was just a spectator, turned into a ray of light and surged downhill from the mountain top in a rush.

The python was dazzlingly fast, causing the creatures standing on the sides to open up a path reluctantly, like a collapsing dam. They then could only watch as the giant python zapped its way through.

The five wounded silverback gorillas noticed the python’s ambush. They all furiously charged forward, ready to take on this despicable creature and tear it into pieces. Since this was not the giant python’s territory, the animals here did not know the depths of its capabilities.

When the giant python ducked a vicious punch casually, it blew a freezing breath that turned the gorilla into an ice block. Only then did the other four gorillas get onto their feet, scrambling and howling away as they ran to pick up their weapons.

But it was all too late, as the speed of the giant python was three times faster than the Mystic Panther. Besides its large physique, which makes it more difficult to avoid projectiles, it had the upper hand, hands down. What’s more, there were only four heavily injured soldiers, not 27 high spirited warriors like before.

The giant python used its body, which was as massive as a train, to sweep in a circle on the floor, hitting all four gorillas, which hadn’t even had the chance to grab their weapons, sending them flying 20 meters away.

In the end, only two giant gorillas struggled to their feet. They exchanged a look at each other, their exhausted bodies telling each other in an unspoken code: ”We can’t overpower it!”

The moment they were in a daze, the giant python attacked again with its tail. The two giant gorillas took the hit again reluctantly. All of this happened in a flash.

According to the Humane King Sutra: ”In the time of a flick, there are 60 moments. In a moment, there are 900 births and deaths.”

Within 60 moments, the two gorillas’ lives were taken away from them. They were left only with a strong reluctance, while disappearing from this world.

Alright. Though the giant python’s action were sly and shady, the natural world has always been so cruel. Morals or philosophy does not apply to the order of nature. Hence, power will forever be the absolute ruler.

The German iron chancellor, Bismarck, once said, ”The truth lies within the shooting range of a canon!”

It sounds violent and brutal, but there’s nothing more effective than brutality in solving problems.

After defeating all the opponents, the giant python raised itself up towards the sky and let out a long hiss, then moved around in the middle of the sandy floor, rolling up dust and sand. This time around, all the other animals that were lingering took the opportunity to race forward. If they don’t do it now, they wouldn’t stand a chance. Even though the giant python was very strong, it did not discourage their determinations to obtain the plant.

Bam!

A deafening sound rang in their ears. As if they’d been cursed by a witch, all the beasts stopped in their tracks instantaneously, including the giant white python. The person who created the loud bang was none other than Chen Fan, using the anti-material rifle in his hands.

The Mystic Panther that Chen Fan had thought was dead, suddenly started to tremble, then scrambled onto its feet. Its head was dyed with fresh blood, staring coldly at the giant white python.

Fire!

Chen Fan pulled the trigger without hesitation. The mighty strength of the recoil and deafening sound of the shot had made his face muddy and gray.

This scene proved the idea: the more the effort, the better the rewards. The supersonic bullet was fired by high power gunpowder, meaning that no matter how sensitive to sounds the animals were, they wouldn’t hear its trail. Only when the bullet had flown a few hundred meters away, would the delayed sound travel to their ears. It was simple physics, because the bullet travels faster than sound!

This supersonic bullet had also prevented the Mystic Panther from identifying its source and evading it. The bullet, packed with more than 20,000 Joules of force, went through the Mystic Panther’s rock tough body like a piece of thin paper.

As it shattered into more than 20 metallic jets, these tiny pieces of metal tore the panther’s body apart. The panther’s majestic and streamlined body instantly turned into an abstractionist oil painting, becoming such a mess that even a great connoisseur wouldn’t be discern it!

The beasts below seemed like they were losing their morale and came to a realization. The Mystic Panther, which was an unbelievably strong beast, was ambushed by a quiet creature that came out of nowhere and was killed by it?

This was also the reason that the giant python was in a standstill now. Since it had never witnessed the power of technology, of course it didn’t realize that it was Chen Fan’s doing, especially since he was standing on the mountain top a few thousand meters away.

While the animals were still staring blankly, intense ripples suddenly danced through the initially peaceful lake like a blooming lotus flower. Then, a 100 meters-long super monster with a full body of black scales emerged from within the ripple.

The monstrous creature’s gaze was so fierce and powerful that its majestic body rippled with sinews. With just a look, anyone would understand how formidable the creature was.
