Different World Card Master: Change the World with Cards

18: Morning ReadingThe three of them walked into the classroom and sat in their seats. By this time, most of the students were already in their places, starting their morning reading.

Not long after, the classroom was full, and the bell for morning reading rang. Everyone held their books and read aloud.

“Da~ Da~ Da~”

The sound of high heels echoed from the corridor, and the students read even more diligently.

Her presence was felt before she was seen. Their Homeroom Teacher, Ji Yun, walked to the classroom door.

Seeing that all the students in the classroom had picked up their books and were diligently reading, Ji Yun nodded with satisfaction.

The only pity she felt was that she couldn’t utter the classic Homeroom Teacher line, ’You are the worst class I’ve ever taught.’

Ji Yun walked between the desks, thinking about things at the same time.

As morning reading was about to end, she walked to the podium and quieted everyone.

“For this month’s Card Innovation Competition, whoever still wants to participate, please make your decision as soon as possible and come to me to sign up. Also, for those who have already signed up and need to modify their registration forms, please do so quickly. Today is Wednesday, and I will submit the registration forms this Friday afternoon. Don’t come to me to modify them after that.”

“I suggest everyone participate to gain some experience. If you don’t understand something, you can ask a teacher. If the teacher you know happens to be busy, you can even just stop any teacher in the hallway and ask them. Students asking questions, they wouldn’t be embarrassed to refuse, right?”

After hearing Ji Yun’s words, the whole class burst into laughter.

“Don’t laugh, all of you. You, Ma Heng, yes, you. You haven’t signed up yet. Can’t you find teammates? Do you want me to help you recruit teammates now? Or do you think you’re very powerful and want to compete alone?”

The smile on Ma Heng’s face froze, and he quickly pleaded for mercy.

“Teacher Ji, I will participate. I will form a team as soon as possible and sign up with you.”

“How soon is ’as soon as possible’? If you’re any later, you’ll miss out on the hot food. I hope you can form a team today and come to me to sign up. Also, Jin Momo, what about you?”

“Teacher, I wanted to team up with Fang Mu and them, but they didn’t agree.”

Hearing this reply, Ji Yun also had a huge headache; there was even a ’love-struck’ student in this class.

“Teaming up requires both parties to agree. You can look for other teams to join. Your grades are also good, so I believe other students will welcome you to join.”

Without waiting for Jin Momo’s reply, Ji Yun made a summary.

“For others who haven’t formed a team or signed up as a solo participant, if you haven’t come to me by Friday, I will randomly group you together and sign you up.”

After speaking, Ji Yun waved goodbye to them and walked towards the office.

After the teacher left, everyone became active. Those with intentions eagerly invited the teammates they had their eyes on to form a team, and those without intentions also asked others to include them, offering to do odd jobs without claiming any copyright.

Jin Momo walked to Fang Mu’s desk.

“Fang Mu, can I just join your team of three?”

“No need, we’ve already formed a team. You should look for others.”

With that, Fang Mu got up and walked to the restroom.

Hearing Fang Mu’s refusal, Jin Momo stomped her foot, wanting to go find Zhao Zixuan and Li Baoyu again.

She was thinking to herself, the minority obeys the majority. If your teammates agree, you can’t very well refuse, can you?

As if sensing Jin Momo’s thoughts, Zhao Zixuan invited Li Baoyu to go to the restroom together. The two of them left the classroom together.

“Hmph.”

Jin Momo became even angrier.
