Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 49: Chapter 49: Wolf Cavalry

Frost Wolf Castle’s back mountain.

The Little Fox Girl is cultivating the Breathing Technique.

Originally, David was worried about the Little Fox Girl’s bloodline problem.

The Bloodline Breathing Technique can only be practiced by corresponding bloodlines, but the Little Fox Girl clearly lacks the Silver Fox Bloodline and Nine-tailed Fox Bloodline.

But to David’s surprise, after the Little Fox Girl completed Beastification, whether it’s the Silver Fox Breathing Technique or Nine-tailed Fox Breathing Technique, she could easily practice them.

In this situation, Cynthia naturally chose the Nine-tailed Fox Breathing Technique.

Moreover, in Beastification state, Cynthia’s cultivation efficiency exceeded David’s expectations, and in just a short period, she completed the Entry Level of the Breathing Technique!

Under normal circumstances, the Bloodline Power activated by Bloodline Knights would condense in the heart.

But Cynthia in Beastification state can circulate Bloodline Power throughout her body, a feat normal Bloodline Knights cannot compare to!

As Cynthia activated the Breathing Technique, her Fox Race Bloodline was stimulated, turning into streams of pure blood energy coursing through her body.

Finally converging into the brown-yellow fox tail behind her, enabling her to clearly sense her physical fitness becoming stronger.

Originally, after undergoing Beastification, she already possessed the physical fitness of an Official Knight, and now after practicing the Breathing Technique, her control over physical strength has become stronger.

Hoo——

The Little Fox Girl let out a long breath.

Then, she felt a strong sense of hunger.

”Miss Cynthia, the roast meat is ready.”

Fire Dance and Shuili, the two sisters, had already prepared delicious food. Seeing the Little Fox Girl approach, they smiled and spoke, presenting the roast meat.

Now, there are three Knights in the castle, and when Knights practice Breathing Techniques, they require a lot of food, so the two sisters are always ready with meals.

”Thank you, Fire Dance, Shuili.” Cynthia replied happily, sitting at the table and began to feast, her face full of satisfaction.

Soon, Liya and Amy returned, hand in hand.

Then it was David and Reina, who had just finished working overtime, returning from the City Hall to the castle’s back mountain.

”Cynthia, how’s the training of the Gray Wolves?” David asked with a smile.

During this period, Cynthia had been communicating with the Gray Wolves using Beast Language, allowing them to understand some simple human words.

”No problem.”

The Little Fox Girl showed a toothy smile, ”I am the best Beast Tamer!”

David nodded, just waiting for tomorrow.

...

The next day.

A total of two hundred Knights from the Frost Wolf Knight Order gathered at the castle.

They had already been informed that today was the day to compete for becoming Wolf Cavalry. These Knight’s Attendants looked excited and nervous, all holding their breath waiting.

Howl——

At this moment, a wolf howl sounded.

David rode a Snow Wolf, while the Gray Wolf Knight rode the Gray Wolf King as they approached from afar.

During this time, David had successfully helped the Gray Wolf Knight tame the Gray Wolf King, making the name Gray Wolf Knight even more deserved.

Moreover, David has now taken on Lord’s duties.

Combined with Reina helping to manage territorial affairs, the Gray Wolf Knight could return to the role of sheriff of Frost Wolf Ridge, commanding this newly forming Wolf Cavalry.

Following them were over a hundred Gray Wolves that reached human height.

”They’re here.”

The captain of the Frost Wolf Knight Order, Peter, was full of excitement.

He is the nephew of the Gray Wolf Knight, carrying the Gray Wolf Bloodline.

Thus, having a Gray Wolf steed to become Wolf Cavalry was his dream, and now it’s about to come true!

The other Knight’s Attendants felt the same, as if they could already see the Frost Wolf Clan’s Wolf Cavalry once again galloping through the battlefield.

”Greetings, Lord.”

When David arrived in front, all the Knights paid their respects together.

David let everyone stand up, then addressed these Knights: ”The Gray Wolf steeds you want are here, but whether you can gain their acknowledgment, it’s up to you.”

Although possessing the ability to Command the Wolf Pack, David didn’t intend for the Gray Wolves to be forcibly bonded, but rather let them choose their own masters.

Hearing this, the Knights of the Frost Wolf Knight Order responded one after another, then focused their gaze on the Gray Wolves.

Peter scanned, selecting the tallest Gray Wolf.

Then, with a swift movement, the Gray Wolf Bloodline granted him quick speed, and he leaped onto the Gray Wolf, attempting to ride it.

This Gray Wolf hesitated, and upon realizing, began to struggle.

Although Cynthia had long tamed these Gray Wolves and communicated with them using Beast Language.

But to become its master, one must possess strength that these Gray Wolves acknowledge; this selection and recognition are mutual!

However, Peter, as a formal Knight with the Gray Wolf Bloodline, obviously had the power to easily suppress this Gray Wolf.

Seeing the Gray Wolf begin to struggle, he started to covertly activate his Gray Wolf Bloodline power to restrain the Gray Wolf, causing it to cease struggling.

Howl——

The Gray Wolf let out a howl, eventually lowering its head.

Facing a familiar-feeling human who was stronger than itself, the Gray Wolf expressed its approval.

Seeing this scene, David nodded in satisfaction.

Although Frost Wolf Ridge’s finest batch of Knights fell in battle with the old Duke.

The remaining Knights were trained by the Frost Wolf Clan, their foundation was still there.

With ample resources, they could grow quickly, restoring the Frost Wolf Clan’s past glory.

As time passed, Knight’s Attendants continued to win the Gray Wolves’ approval; it wasn’t difficult to gain recognition given their taming.

Once the more than a hundred Gray Wolves were tamed, a Gray Wolf Cavalry Corps led by the Gray Wolf Knight was officially formed.

Next came signing contracts between Knights and Gray Wolves.

Though these Gray Wolves became the Knights’ mounts, they still belonged to the Frost Wolf Lord.

Gray Wolf Knight Olay felt elated watching this scene; now Frost Wolf Ridge had money and a powerful Gray Wolf Cavalry, enough to establish itself in the Northern Lands!

However, it’s still insufficient to resist an attack from the Ice Bear Clan.

”Uncle Olay, these Wolf Cavalry are for you to train next.”

”Moreover, don’t neglect training of other Knights and Militias. I will find ways to tame more Gray Wolves.”

David remarked.

Now that Frosty Winter is over, he can go into the mountains with Cynthia to find Gray Wolves.

Given his current Spiritual Power strength, he should be able to contract a Gray Wolf King, which is another pack of over a hundred Gray Wolves.

Then he turned to Reina, saying: ”You need to make a purchasing plan, we also need more weapons to equip the Cavalry Corps.”

Gray Wolf Knight and Reina both agreed.

”Right, finding Wizards mustn’t stop either.”

David seriously instructed Gray Wolf Knight once more, as Wizard’s power is crucial for his farming enterprise.
