Wizard: Stronger through Marriage

Chapter 46: Chapter 46: Preparing Secret Medicine

Frost Wolf Castle.

After handling matters in Silver Fox Town, David returned to Frost Wolf Castle that same day with a large amount of gold coins and secret medicine materials.

All along, his purpose in developing the territory was to gather resources.

Now that the resources were in hand, he hurried back to the castle to continue his cultivation. Frost Wolf Ridge was full of danger nowadays, and he had to do everything possible to strengthen his prowess.

The Ice Bear Clan, the Duke of Ice Crown, and the Church, which regards wizards as the devil’s minions—even though he was now an Earth Knight, he was still too weak.

”Young Master David.”

Seeing David return, Liya, Amy, Reina, and Cynthia came out to greet him.

During this period, because David had taken the Gray Wolf Pack, Cynthia, who had mastered wizard power, also moved into the castle.

”I’m back.”

David smiled slightly; it felt good to have someone waiting for him.

”Lord, since you’re back, I’ll take the gray wolves and leave.”

Cynthia spoke, her gaze a bit evasive.

Though she had only stayed for two days, the maids seemed to already treat her as the lady of the castle.

This feeling made Cynthia very uncomfortable, giving rise to a sense of fear in her heart, urging her to quickly leave this place, which felt like a cage.

”Won’t you stay?” David paused for a moment before speaking.

Cynthia still shook her head.

Seeing this, David didn’t say much more.

He did want to win over Cynthia, but he also knew that the wounds in her heart would not heal easily.

Thinking of this, he took out the ”Nine-tailed Fox Breathing Technique” and the ”Silver Fox Breathing Technique” and handed them to the Little Fox Girl.

”These are the Fox Race bloodline breathing techniques I’ve collected.”

”You can go back and try cultivating them.”

Hearing his words, Cynthia’s eyes lit up instantly.

Now, with her completed beastification, her physical attributes could rival that of an Official Knight.

If she could continue cultivating the Knight’s Breathing Technique, her strength would surpass that of ordinary knights.

Moreover, she had no clue about the next step for wizard power cultivation; with the Knight’s Breathing Technique, she could first walk the path of the knight.

”Thank you, my Lord,” Cynthia said gratefully.

”I’m glad to help.”

David smiled slightly and instinctively tousled the Little Fox Girl’s smooth hair.

The Little Fox Girl did not show resistance to this.

Soon, Cynthia left in a hurry, planning to go back and try it out.

Watching the Little Fox Girl leave the castle with the Gray Wolf Pack for the back mountain, David retracted his gaze, embraced Liya, Amy, and Reina, and returned to the castle.

Back on the third floor.

David finally couldn’t bear the heat rising within him.

Thankfully, with Liya, a Tier Two Knight, at the forefront, the battle was barely even.

”Young Master David.”

”What do you think of Fire Dance, Shuili, or Cynthia?”

Liya leaned against David, gently reminding him.

David’s heart stirred as he thought of Fire Dance and Shuili.

Over this period, the two sisters had undergone significant changes.

They no longer appeared as lifeless as before, and smiles gradually surfaced on their faces.

The two Twin Lotuses were already budding.

However, the time wasn’t ripe yet; he wanted the two sisters to completely let go and bloom in happiness.

”Let’s take it slow,” David replied with a smile.

He continued, ”The materials for the Frost Wolf Secret Medicine are complete, and we’re already collecting the materials for the Snow Demon Secret Medicine.”

”Going forward, you also need to continue to improve your own strength.”

Hearing that the Lord was preparing secret medicines for them, Liya and Reina were both very touched.

Though exhausted, the two still trained with David once more.

...

A sleepless night.

The next day, David rarely slept in.

When they all got up, Fire Dance and Shuili came in with clothes and bed linens.

Fire Dance hesitated as she looked at the Lord, who was stark naked, and let Shuili tidy up the messy room while she helped the Lord dress.

By now, Fire Dance knew some things about men and women. Watching the Lord stark naked made her ears blush.

David found it amusing, and when Fire Dance was tying his belt, he couldn’t help but lower his head and took her earlobe in his mouth.

Instantly, Fire Dance’s body stiffened, and the red spread rapidly from her ears to her whole face.

She closed her eyes, her breath inevitably heavy.

Luckily, David did not take any further actions, and after Fire Dance helped him dress, he merely smiled at her.

Breakfast was already laid out on the table.

After sitting down with Liya, Amy, and Reina, his gaze fell on the two little maids.

If he took both sisters in, it seemed they would have to find someone else for the maid’s work, or perhaps the Gray Wolf Knight could keep an eye out.

After breakfast, David did not go to the back mountain for cultivation but took Liya to the training room.

Now that the materials for the Tier Four Frost Wolf Secret Medicine were gathered, he could begin the refining process.

David planned to teach Liya the method to make the Frost Wolf Secret Medicine of the Frost Wolf Clan, so she could help him and herself make the Frost Wolf Secret Medicine in the future.

”Young Master David.” Liya was deeply moved.

The Frost Wolf Secret Medicine and the Frost Wolf Breathing Technique were the most important things of the Frost Wolf Clan.

Now, Young Master David handed them to her, which reflected his absolute trust in her, treating her as part of the Frost Wolf Clan.

”You’ve always been the lady of the Frost Wolf Clan.”

David held Liya from behind and patiently began to teach her.

Fortunately, configuring secret medicines is completely different in difficulty from configuring a wizard’s potion; you just need to process the materials through a specific procedure and mix them together.

David had learned potion configuration from his father, Old Duke Frost Wolf, so he was skillful in the process.

Liya’s learning speed was also fast; she meticulously started making the Frost Wolf Secret Medicine as Young Master David taught.
