Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2600: Chapter 2595: Harsh Realities

”Because money is tempting.” Qin Xue explained the reason for this matter in just one sentence.

Because this way, they can get a lot of money, but they never consider the despair those families face, or how pitiful those children are.

Abducted children who encounter good families might still have a good childhood and a positive growth experience. However, if they meet bad families that abuse children, they are left with endless scars, and such experiences inflict indelible harm on their lives.

These circumstances make them timid, even suicidal, which is why we hope for a world with less abduction, more love, more goodwill, and less crime. That’s what people wish for.

But everyone knows, money moves people’s hearts, and there will always be those who take the risk, because they are unwilling to work hard for their money and instead seek something for nothing.

What Qin Xue didn’t want is precisely what those bad guys repeatedly pursue, because what they want is a quick way to make money. In later generations, many people will call for cracking down on these criminals. As soon as they are seen, many will be beaten, and those severely injured. Such incidents are more common in rural areas, but in big cities, there are not as many enthusiastic people, even some becoming indifferent.

Some even blindly help the traffickers, hindering the families’ attempts to retrieve their children. In facing such situations, how despairing must the children’s families be.

So when Qin Xue and Chu Molin were thinking about how to help Cohen find his family, they were also advocating for everyone to watch their children closely, to identify bad people, and not to let traffickers become rampant.

”It sounds realistic when said, but haven’t they thought about how heartbreaking this is for them? They only think about themselves. Our country should enforce strict crackdowns on this issue, otherwise, it will become even more rampant in the future, won’t it?” Li Rong’s heart was filled with pain, but she was just one person, with limited ability. She couldn’t protect so many people alone, everyone has to work together.

”It will happen.” Qin Xue thought, it’s not that there isn’t, in later generations, the serious ones were executed by firing squad, yet many knowingly repeat the offense, what can be done about it?

But this is something she couldn’t say now, otherwise, if they asked her how she knew, what would she say? So, she reminded them, but as for other things, some things simply have no solutions.

Chu Molin merely glanced at Qin Xue. Her mentioning it implied stricter enforcement on this problem in the future.

Moreover, some things can’t be articulated, as they can never be completely eradicated. It’s a matter of taking it step by step, targeting and tackling one at a time.

Chu Molin wanted to keep Qin Xue’s secret, so he only kept matters to himself, and wouldn’t say more. At such times, she would say no more, as saying more leads to more mistakes in these matters.

Therefore, Qin Xue would not discuss this with Li Rong any further; she didn’t want to be seen as an anomaly, so she could only protect herself.

”Indeed, catch one, and execute one.” Li Rong nodded after hearing, human trafficking must be cracked down on, so when hearing Qin Xue’s words, she agreed.

The two families dined and chatted together, enjoying each other’s company. This kind of relationship is the best. Because when all words are spoken, there are no other thoughts or things brooding inside.
