Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2614: Chapter 2609: Still Have to Feed Him Blood

Qin Xue saw that Ji Yu’s explanation wasn’t very clear and thought about what would be the best way to handle this later.

Using her blood was certainly the best option, but she couldn’t give Ji Yan her blood to drink in public, so she had to think of other ways. She did have pills made from her blood, but they weren’t suitable for a snake bite.

What should she do? Qin Xue thought for a long time without finding an appropriate solution. It seemed she would still have to use her blood.

Qin Xue’s blood was too special, so she could only treat him inside the room. She’d have everyone else go outside, and then she’d let him drink her blood, hoping there was enough time.

She thought this way because she heard Ji Yu say that he’d already sucked some of the poison out of Ji Yan. In this situation, there should be some time left to save him. To gain more time, she walked a bit faster, ignoring the discomfort in her stomach, only taking deep breaths to adjust her heart rate.

”Sister Xue, my brother is inside.” Ji Yu led Qin Xue into the courtyard and took her inside the house.

”Alright, how have things been recently? Nothing major happened, right?” Qin Xue looked around the courtyard, noticing it was quite different from the last time she visited. How could the place where the two kids lived be so messy?

She felt that something must have happened. Otherwise, this wouldn’t be the way it looked.

”Nothing happened. Look, my brother is in this condition.” Ji Yu hesitated for a moment, then quickly replied.

How should she explain this to Qin Xue? Maybe it’s better not to say anything. The most urgent thing now is to save her brother.

As long as her brother is okay, the other matters can be dealt with later. So Ji Yu didn’t say much more and led Qin Xue to see her brother first.

”Alright, you go boil some hot water for me, and I’ll take a look at him first.” Qin Xue saw no one else was in their home, which meant Ji Yu came to find her, leaving only a half-dead boy at home. She really didn’t know what these two kids had gone through, and why no one was helping them at this time.

For now, she needed to send people away first and give Ji Yan her blood. The rest could be dealt with later.

”Okay, Sister Xue, sorry to trouble you. I’ll go boil the water.” Ji Yu didn’t have much to say, so she obediently followed the instruction.

Qin Xue looked at Ji Yan’s complexion. Fortunately, it wasn’t the bite of a venomous snake, and Ji Yu had sucked out a lot of the toxic blood. This bought them a bit of time, and there was still a chance to save him.

Qin Xue took out the smallest surgical knife from her bag and made a small cut on her finger.

The moment the knife broke the skin, a sharp pain shot through her heart, but Qin Xue managed to remain calm. She then used her other hand to open Ji Yan’s mouth, letting the blood flow into it.

Seeing Ji Yan showing signs of swallowing, she felt a glimmer of hope. Great, he’s still able to swallow.

When Qin Xue felt that it was enough, she stopped. As long as he swallowed it, she could wait to see the results.

After applying hemostatic medication to her finger and bandaging it, Qin Xue used the surgical knife to make a cross incision on the snakebite mark on Ji Yan’s foot, pressing the blood out until no more dark blood was visible, and then applied mashed-up snake’s tail grass to it.

She had picked the snake’s tail grass on her way here with Ji Yu, spotting it by the roadside. Considering that Ji Yan had been bitten by a snake, at that moment, she didn’t have a better solution, so she used the snake’s tail grass.

It was said that the snake’s tail grass not only healed snake bites but also treated coughs. This plant was found everywhere during the snake-infested season, making it very easy to find.
