Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2642: Chapter 2638: No More Frequent Absences

”You went to rescue someone, how is the child now?” Li Rong heard them talking, and soon saw people appear in front of them.

”Awake, just waiting for recovery now.” Qin Xue heard Li Rong’s question and answered her.

”That’s good.” Li Rong was relieved, as long as the person is fine.

Though that isn’t her area of responsibility, as a doctor, she still gets concerned when she hears about a patient.

”I’ll take them back. We want to return to S Province for a while, can we trouble Cohen to help look after them for a bit?” Qin Xue hasn’t mentioned it to Cohen yet.

But she has to tell Li Rong and the others first; otherwise, even if he agrees over there, things might get busy here, and they won’t have the time. What can she do then?

So it’s better to find a place to stay first before discussing this with the child.

”Let Ding Xi help look after them; he has nothing much to do right now and can handle watching a child.” Li Rong responded promptly.

It’s just that she has to go to work, so it’s her husband who will be watching the child, which for her is the best arrangement.

”Okay, we’ll go back to take care of some things, and after it’s sorted, we’ll return. Otherwise, he needs to attend school, and we can’t take him with us.” Qin Xue was relieved to hear it and explained.

”Once children start school, they shouldn’t often take leave; otherwise, it affects their studies. They need regular study to progress.” Li Rong understood.

For a student, learning is learning, no matter the time; it should always be the priority. Students learn the same things together, but if you miss it, then you won’t understand the lessons taught by the teacher, and it lowers your foundation, making it hard to keep up.

So the thing Li Rong disagrees with the most is this — adults are fine no matter what, but don’t hold back the child.

Qin Xue also thought so, which is why she wanted someone to help watch over the child, as taking leave would also be detrimental to him.

And it’s not the kind of situation she wants to see, which is most important.

Qin Xue once heard such a saying: when a child needs companionship, you aren’t there; when guidance is needed, you don’t teach, so later the child feels you’re no longer important, not needed, as you can focus on making money and neglect the child.

Now, you can exhaust yourself making money, ignoring the child, but maybe the money earned in a lifetime won’t be enough if the child spends it in just a month. Conversely, if you educate the child well, they might earn in one month or one year what you couldn’t make in a lifetime.

Thus the child’s growth can’t lack your company; you shouldn’t be absent on their growing path.

Qin Xue’s thoughts may differ from others, but regarding children, she allows no errors.

Because some things, once missed, lead to regret and can never be retrieved.

Qin Xue doesn’t care if Cohen is biologically hers or not; now he’s her son, so she will certainly educate him well, giving him a bright future.

She knows deeply that raising a child isn’t easy, educating them well is even harder, but life has no ifs; it’s a certainty, if it’s here, do your best. This is the greatest comfort for them adults, yet also the sweetest burden — none other.

”Yes, during the time we’re not here, maybe his family might come looking. If they do, don’t let anyone take him away; wait for us to return and sort it out, okay?” Qin Xue worried about someone coming to claim him, which would harm Cohen again, hence preferring to resolve it when everyone is present.
