Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2644: Chapter 2640: I Know What to Do

”You’re right, you all are really good, able to discuss things in a friendly manner. For friends like that, it’s the greatest in the world, though, of course, not the kind of greatness a mother has.” Li Rong quickly explained.

The greatness of friends and that of being a mother are different. A mother gives life to another being with her life, while friends strive to treat each other better. They are two different concepts.

”Don’t worry, I understand what you mean.” Qin Xue also knew that sometimes, for some people, truly devoted friends are very rare.

So thinking about how to find a true confidant, for them, there’s never been an unchanging friendship in this world, and certainly no eternal love either.

It all depends on how you view it. Some people and things change along with one’s thoughts.

Therefore, in life, don’t give your whole heart away, or else, in the end, you’ll be the one who gets hurt.

Although Qin Xue understands that sincerity is exchanged with sincerity, she also knows you have to choose who to give it to, or else you might meet an untimely end and not even know why.

”Alright, let’s not talk about this. You can stay in S Province for a few more days, it doesn’t matter. Ding Xi can help with picking up the kids. But whether he’s willing or not, you have to discuss it with him. As long as he has no objections, it’s fine with us anytime. This way, you won’t have to worry about him.” Li Rong said this because Qin Xue had just started her business over there, and she definitely had a lot of things to take care of upon her return.

She’s very busy during this time and only returns to the Imperial Capital after she’s finished, so Li Rong offers her peace of mind so she won’t be anxious.

But being only one person, Qin Xue now has two lives to consider. She can’t charge ahead recklessly at work like before; it’s better to let her work for a few more days, take things slowly. That’s best for her.

Li Rong also knows that Qin Xue has many friends over there, and she needs to meet up with them too. Ding Xi currently isn’t working, so helping out for a while shouldn’t be a problem. They can stay as long as they want; her only concern is whether Cohen would agree.

So when Qin Xue and the others discuss it with him, that’s the most crucial part. Once it’s settled, it can save a lot of trouble.

Once a task is completed, the anxiety reduces as well. This approach is probably best for Qin Xue.

As her friend, Li Rong hopes she can take things easy and not push herself too hard.

”Hmm, rest assured, I know what to do. But this way, you might have to work harder.”

Qin Xue knows Cohen is very sensible, but with an additional person at home, some extra effort is inevitably required for caregiving. This means that besides work, Li Rong would also have to devote some attention to Cohen, which can be quite tiring.

”What are you talking about? Having an extra child at home, we might as well use it as practice for parenthood. This way, when the baby is born, we won’t be so clumsy, right?” Li Rong didn’t see it as a trouble.

Practicing parenthood now is good; once the child is born, they’ll know what to do.

”That sounds about right, but Cohen is so well-behaved, you might miss out on some other joys.” A lively and an introverted child feel different; thus, a well-behaved child is different from a fussy one, too.

Qin Xue felt using Cohen for practice might be somewhat unfit; since the subject is different, the approach should be different too.
