Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 2602: Chapter 2597: Fine, I’ll Do It All

”Okay, from now on, whenever there’s something that needs doing, let me handle it. You don’t have to do it,” Ding Xi said, reasoning that he couldn’t help with work matters, so he’d take care of things in their daily life.

He didn’t want to be a man relying on his wife and even less so a man who does nothing. To him, the best thing was for his wife to manage her own job well.

So for Ding Xi, he wanted to be the one taking care of things, so that they could discuss matters together as a couple.

This way, they could resolve any problems that arose in a timely manner. Thus, after hearing Li Rong’s words, Ding Xi’s first thought was about how to lighten his wife’s workload, making things easier for her.

Because work at the hospital was already exhausting, if she also had to handle household matters, she’d feel completely overwhelmed and would be extremely tired.

When Li Rong heard what Ding Xi said, she was moved, because many men, upon hearing about a woman’s pregnancy, just think it’s normal.

Doing chores is also considered normal, so they see these things as completely ordinary and wouldn’t even think of helping their wives.

After hearing Ding Xi say this, Li Rong felt it was indeed crucial to have chosen the right person, because at times like these, a woman’s heart truly knows who treats her best.

”Alright, let you do it, just make sure to find something to do after you rest. You need to make money for your daughter, for food and clothes, or how will you spoil her?” Li Rong wasn’t opposed to him helping, but she knew a man shouldn’t revolve around his wife and children all day. If he were a chef, that would be different, but he’s not, and doing so would not be beneficial for him.

It would erode his confidence and gradually wear down his resolve, leaving him unsure of what to do, which also seemed to deplete his youth.

Li Rong was a strong woman and wouldn’t let her husband live that way. It’s okay for him to help her with some things, but not to do everything with her.

”That’s true, my daughter will definitely be the best. I need to make money for her to spend however she likes, so she won’t be tricked by boys in the future.” Ding Xi agreed, of course they needed to live well, or how could he bear it if she was taken away? He’d be heartbroken, so his wife was right; he needed to earn a lot of money to give her the best life.

”How do you know it’s a girl? What if it’s a boy?” Chu Molin remarked, watching yet another man who seemed to prefer daughters over sons, feeling quite exasperated. They didn’t even know if his wife was having a boy or a girl, and here was another wanting a daughter. It was a little frustrating.

At this time, what he was most eager to find out was whether the two children his wife was carrying were girls. If they were, that would be the best, but if not, he couldn’t just not want them. They were his flesh and blood, so what he really wanted to know now was whether his wife’s children were boys or girls.

But no one was aware of Chu Molin’s thoughts; everyone was focused on their own conversations, not realizing there was a man watching them with frustration.

”Qin Xue, what do you think about making a pact? If you have a boy and a girl, we could become in-laws. What do you say?” Li Rong considered the idea feasible.
