Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 950: Chapter 944 An Hao couple_1

When Chu Molin came back, they had just prepared lunch. Xiao Qi and the couple, Li Zhao, were with him.

“Eh, An’an, how come you all came together?” Qin Xue looked at the people who appeared in her house. At this time, An’an should be staying at home waiting for her due date which should be in the next few days.

“We came to look for Qiqi, heard that you were going back to the Qin family’s village for the New Year. I thought I’d come over and ask you to check on me again. I don’t know why, but as the days draw closer, I get more anxious.” An Hao answered Qin Xue’s question, explaining why she came.

“You are experiencing prepartum anxiety. You shouldn’t overthink it. You should focus on staying relaxed; otherwise, your emotion might affect the baby, possibly leading to premature birth. Even though your due date is also fast approaching, delivery day isn’t here yet, so you should keep a positive attitude instead of worrying about negative things. Rest assured, as long as the baby’s position is normal and everything is going well, there is no problem.” Qin Xue spoke to An Hao’s prepartum anxiety, acknowledging the potential harm it could cause.

“I know it’s not good to feel this way, but I just can’t control myself.” An Hao knew what Qin Xue had said before, but she became increasingly anxious as her due date neared.

“Zhaozi, when you have time, take her out more and accompany her. Show her some happy sights, such as children playing and beautiful scenery. As long as she is not idle all day, she won’t have the time to overthink.” Qin Xue made sure An Hao got seated, checked her pulse, and when she found no issues, she addressed Li Zhao.

“Okay, I’ll arrange my work tomorrow and then come back to accompany An’an.” Li Zhao never thought that being pregnant would be so hard. Seeing the life An Hao had had recently, he didn’t want any more children after this one. What Li Zhao didn’t know was that a new policy would soon be introduced, and even if he wanted more children, he wouldn’t be able to have them.

“Yes, pregnant women tend to have more emotional fluctuations due to imbalanced hormones. You need to pay more attention to her. Postpartum depression is much more severe than prepartum anxiety. Mild cases of postpartum depression could prevent mothers from taking care of their babies and severe cases could induce suicidal thoughts. Therefore, for someone like An Hao who has major emotional fluctuations, you as a husband must observe closely and pay attention to her.” Qin Xue thought, An Hao’s state might be mainly due to her lack of hardship and experience, as well as the fact that her parents were not around.

So she needs more love and attention from her family, and her husband needs to accompany her more, to dispel her insecurity. This way, she won’t have too many unnecessary thoughts. Once her hormone levels restored, everything will be alright.

“Okay, I understand. Thank you.” Li Zhao was glad he came. Otherwise, no one would have told him about this. If anything happened to An’an, he would never forgive himself.

And An Hao, too, hadn’t realized that her bad mood could lead to so many unfavorable situations. In her heart, she resolved to adjust her attitude and be mindful of these issues. She could not let these situations occur as they would be harmful to her, her baby, and her family.

Chu Molin also hadn’t expected that a woman’s pregnancy could involve so many considerations and possible complications. He genuinely felt for his wife; during her pregnancy, he was often away on tasks and had little time to accompany her. She had to shoulder everything alone and bear all the pressure. Thankfully, nothing had happened to her, otherwise he would be the one with regrets.
