Reborn in the Eighties as a Housewife with a Space

Chapter 945: Chapter 939: The Toy is a Nine-Linked Ring_1

“I’m back. Take care of the kids while I let our third brother know that he will be driving us to the station later.” Chu Molin said to Qin Xue when he saw her return.

“Ok, go ahead. And oh, make sure he takes that bag back to grandma and Xiaoqiao.” Qin Xue pointed to the bag she had prepared, saying to Chu Molin. Xiaoqiao was helping her with the shop and hadn’t been able to come by, plus, she had the kids to look after, so she couldn’t deliver it to Xiaoqiao herself. The only option was to have it given by someone else. Otherwise, once they left today, there wouldn’t be an opportunity again.

She also wrote a letter to Xiaoqiao, telling her they would be spending the New Year at the Qin’s village and to consult with Wu Tianci if there was any issue. If they ran out of vegetables, she could take money from the store and buy some herself – she knew how to do that.

Without a doubt, Xiaoqiao was an incredibly smart girl, picking up anything taught to her swiftly. But her lack of interest was a flaw.

But under Qin Xue’s leadership, there was no saying ‘I don’t want to learn’. So Qin Xue taught her everything she thought she could learn, which turned out to be a correct decision, the young girl was doing very well, even impressing Qin Xue.

“Alright.” Chu Molin gave no objection. These were things his wife wanted to give, he had no reason to oppose. She could give anything she wanted, as everything in the household was at her disposal.

“Taotao, come play with this.” Qin Xue handed a different tangram to Jingtao, asking him to sit on the bed and play with the two kids. As for Qin Xue, she was reading a medical book by their side, keeping an eye on the children. Xue Ling had gone out early in the morning, and she had no idea why.

“Master, I am back.” Xue Ling put the things it had scavenged on the table and told Qin Xue.

“Where were you all this while?” Qin Xue asked, not raising her head to look at Xue Ling who was sitting by the bed.

“I went to find toys for the young masters.” Xue Ling pointed at the bag on the table as it spoke.

“What is it?” Qin Xue curiously asked, she opened the bag and was left dumbfounded—it was a nine-linked rings and blocks. Could such a young kid play these?

Qin Xue was dumbstruck at Xue Ling. How did it come up with this peculiar idea? Even if they were to purchase toys, they’d get larger ones, right? She doubted if the kids could even lift these.

“Yiyi, I want that.” Jingtao, seeing Qin Xue holding blocks, reached out for them.

“Taotao, you like these?” Qin Xue handed the blocks to him, not particularly concerned about whether he knew how to play with them. As long as he wanted them, she gave them all to him.

As she was handing it over, two small hands appeared in front of her—Yu Ze reached for the nine-linked rings, Jingtao for the blocks, leaving only Yu Chen still playing with his tangram.

“Hey, you two little fellas, do you guys even know how to play these at all? You all just grabbed them one after the other.” Qin Xue was surprised and asked the two little ones.

Jingtao began assembling the blocks without paying Qin Xue any attention, while Yu Ze turned to Qin Xue with a delighted smile and began seriously analyzing the nine-linked rings.

Seeing them so engrossed, Qin Xue decided not to disturb them but instead turned to Xue Ling after sitting down on her chair.

“Xue Ling, we’re going back to the Qin’s village for the New Year later, pack your things. Take whatever you need with you. We will have a car drive us to the station.” Qin Xue said with a cunning smile on her face anyone would have assumed she’d committed a crime.

“Why so sudden?” Xue Ling hadn’t eaten breakfast before heading out, and hence was unaware of this development. What if they had left without it?

“Missed home, of course. Molin asked me if I wanted to go back, how could I say no. So I thought, why not do it sooner rather than later, and decided we’d leave today. That’s wise decision-making, wouldn’t you say?” Qin Xue asked Xue Ling.
