Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 879: Garak City

After the Star and Night Team were established, Veronica gave the leader 5 minutes to decide who to allocate their Forsaken Set to.

Dark Night didnʼt care much and simply had his members do rock, paper, and scissors to decide among themselves.

As for Blue Star, she was somewhat biased and gave one of the sets directly to Kailey, who was the lowest level in her team.

The remaining three sets were allocated to a Mage and two Specialist Class whose levels were at 39.

In this manner, each of the classes had a set, and the Specialist Class had three when counting her.

Yes, this was her being biased toward Specialists, but nobody in her team had any complaint.

After all, she was a Specialist Class in the Gunner category and had proven her skills already.

However, Blue Star wasnʼt completely a tyrant or dictator either as she said other than Kailey, those who wanted a set from those who got it could do PvP among themselves.

Unfortunately, Veronica didnʼt allow them to actually do so because she had already informed them to get ready to head toward Garak Forest.

Just the contract signing, allocation of the Forsaken Set, and formation of the teams had taken quite a bit of time.

She had no intention of wasting anymore with this ridiculous PvP setup.

OneManMedia also agreed on the side, granted that he had been keeping an eye on their guildʼs development.

Although the Neo and Hex Team had been doing their best to protect their guild membersʼ interests, the situation wasnʼt ideal.

Since Vanguard Guild members had fallen and no actual retaliation had been done, many had become more courageous and bold.

They were indeed afraid of the Vanguard Guildʼs retaliation, but they couldnʼt just sit back and allow them to grow continuously.

By then, wouldnʼt they constantly be forced to lower their head and bow in front of them?

If it were a Super Guild, then they wouldnʼt have minded much. But it remained a fact that most still labeled the Vanguard Guild as an upstart guild.

It wasnʼt that they were underestimating them or anything. Instead, it was a fact that the Vanguard Guild was created after the Divine World had dropped.

In other words, that was still considered an upstart guild and not a long-established guild in the gaming industry.

”Alright, make sure to teleport to Garak City on the spot and wear the Stealth Cloak.” Veronica declared. By now, Stealth Cloak was obtainable by purchasing it from fellow NPC merchants.

The price was high, but it was very worth it. After all, Stealth Cloak helped conceal them from being spotted in the System Map.

This was also why they were ambushed back then when they had completed the large-scale raid, Fortress of the Fallen. Back then, the Lethal Corp had Stealth Cloaks on them, making them invisible in the System Map.

”Yes, Guild Captain!” Almost every member of the room responded.

Blue Star and Dark Night simply nodded slightly.

There was no need to respond enthusiastically like the rest when they would use their skills to prove their worth anyway.

In fact, Dark Night was very eager to enter Garak Forest and unleashed a killing spree. Maybe in that way, he would be able to meet with the Honorary Elder and ask for some advice.

For a healer class to demonstrate such devastating power and an extreme awareness in perception, Dark Night was very curious about how he managed to accomplish such a feat.

Sometime later, Veronica signaled them to immediately use their Teleport Scroll.

She was the first to activate it and vanished from the room, followed by OneManMedia.

The rest of the members then activated their respective Teleport Scroll.

Garak City

Within the Teleport Platform of Garak City, multiple streaks of lights flashed by, and Veronica along with the rest arrived.

Their entire identity was covered thanks to the Stealth Cloaks. The nearby players in the Teleport Platform also didnʼt care much about their arrival.

In recent times, there have been many players coming in with Stealth Cloaks on.

After all, the allure and temptation of Garak Forest was too much to resist.

This was especially true for players who lost all progress in their city and wished to earn a lot of Qualification Profession to leverage themselves to join a decent guild.

”What a crowded city…” Veronica muttered, feeling somewhat overwhelmed by the traffic. She reckoned that this kind of traffic had surpassed Star Falls City as well when it was promoted to a Primate City.

”Letʼs head over to Braum Tavern first.” Veronica turned to her people and said. She had already sent a message to Neo and the Hex Team previously to gather over the tavern after safeguarding the current batch of members who were doing missions from the special NPC.

Just five minutes ago, they had already informed her that they had returned to the private room at Braum Tavern. Otherwise, she wouldnʼt have arrived at this perfect moment.

Although there were many Stealth Cloak players around, it was better to stay off the limelight until they were ready to make a move.

While Veronica prepared to make her way to the tavern, back at the secret dungeon, Xu Feng and Veronica were panting heavily.

They found the portal and mustered their strength to take a leap of faith.

Behind them were some grim reapers with a scythe who swung their weapon, narrowly missing as the two got sucked into the portal.

A few moments later, they reappeared back at the Maze and onto another safe zone.

THUD!

They plopped to the ground, and the two glanced at each other with a bittersweet smile.

”How is this a dungeon?” Carmen frowned and cried aloud. Within the icon in her status screen, it had listed 5/6.

”Itʼs called a secret dungeon for a reason.” Xu Feng pursed his lips and glanced at the Timer above the sky.

Timer: 08:13:37

A total of 30-plus hours had been spent gathering the remaining 4 icons after the discovery of the first icon in the fake Up Challenge.
