Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 857: Forsaken Set

Amidst the shock and disbelief expression of Azalea from the revelation of their Equipment Set, Crimson Heart raised her chin up.

Her nose was sharp and pointy as she proudly explained, ”This is the Forsaken Set, also an Epic Rarity, but itʼs a level 40 requirement.”

Usually, the level requirement being this high wasnʼt great because, for a piece of equipment that one cannot wear. It was just a piece of scrap.

However, Azalea was utterly speechless when she saw the level requirement had a parenthesis that showed a minus 5.

To simplify, the level requirement was indeed 40, but due to the uniquity, players level 35 or above could wear the Equipment Set, completely bypassing the requirement.

And as she got the chance to finally inspect the Equipment Set, she nearly had her brain short-circuited.

Crafter: Crimson Heart

—

ʼI just got a face slapped so hard.ʼ Azalea was struck in a complete daze after finishing reading the description. What made it infuriating for her to refute was the final crafter being identified as Crimson Heart.

In other words, she couldnʼt even attempt to deceive herself that it was crafted by someone else.

A crafter could always either choose to reveal their name or stay anonymous. This was to ensure their safety by the System and give them a choice to either remain low-key or high-key.

And without a doubt, the Crimson Heart in front of her was clearly going high-key. She was flexing her smithing skills.

To top it off, her previous evaluation of their Nightfallen Set was indeed completely on point.

If the situation were to swap, then Azalea would have made the same comment and scoffed at the Nightfallen Set.

”So what do you think of my set?” Crimson Heart suddenly asked curiously.

”...”

Speechless, Azalea nearly wanted to roll her eyes and cursed aloud.

The facts were already here!

If she were to argue otherwise, then wouldnʼt that be admitting herself of being short-sighted or incapable of reading?

However, she couldnʼt possibly just admit that her set was inferior to hers.

That would be equivalent to a double slap across her face—one that was done by herself!

Seeing Azalea being caught in the web, Veronica giggled softly and decided to let her off. At the end of the day, their guild had a deal with them, so it was not good to strain their relationship over this minor trivial matter.

She merely called Crimson Heart over to inform Azalea that their guild might be labeled an upstart guild, but they were by no means inferior to them.

”The gesture that the Cyclone Guild made, our Vanguard Guild shall accept it.” Veronica suddenly said and continued, ”Weʼll be accepting the free Equipment Set. As for the other two sets, you can keep it for your guild members. The ambush incident isnʼt entirely your fault.”

”Very well,” Nodding, Azalea could only smile awkwardly and agree with the arrangement.

However, having witnessed such an Equipment Set, she would be lying if she didnʼt desire to get one of them for their sub-branch.

Simultaneously, she also began to realize why her boss was so adamant about working with the Vanguard Guild despite all odds.

ʼTruly, one could never be overconfident.ʼ She thought to herself, reflecting on her previous behavior. She had now come to realize that the Vanguard Guild was harboring talents comparable to them—no, it could be said to be even better.

Although Crimson Heart didnʼt boast about her achievement, she could easily sense she held a lot of pride.

For someone like her to be willing to come under Vanguard Guild and work for them, it only meant two things. The guild earned her respect to cause her to stay or there was even someone better than her that prompted her to remain.

No matter the answer, Azalea dreaded both of them, albeit more wary of the latter.

Meanwhile, Veronica didnʼt hope to linger too much on this topic. She was about to dismiss Crimson Heart to ensure she didnʼt bother her much until Azalea suddenly raised a request.

”Umm, this Forsaken Set. Does your Vanguard Guild plan on selling them?” Azalea suppressed the shame in her emotion as she raised the question.

Having witnessed such a set and not even attempting to request if they could purchase it would be a huge mistake. She even speculated that she would be punished severely if she returned and her boss found out about todayʼs farce.

A few seconds later, Veronica smiled gently.

”The Forsaken Set is an exclusive product of our Vanguard Guild. As of now, we have yet intended to sell it to others. However, I can relay your inquiry to the Guild Leader when he returns.” She calmly explained.

Azalea pursed her lips and wanted to cover her face with a blanket. Nothing was more hurtful than having your own words biting back at you.
