Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 875: Tension At Garak Forest

As Veronica was venting out her frustration, OneManMedia didnʼt stop her immediately.

After all, she had every right to be frustrated and angered by the situation.

Most of the guilds who targeted us were affiliations who had to bow their heads to them before. Without their chain of supply of good quality equipment sold in their stores, these guilds wouldnʼt even be able to progress much.

This was especially true when it came to Road Pike, who offered a substantial amount for the Elemental Warrior Set in the past to conquer a dungeon near their base city.

Although it was a fact that Road Pike had paid for the equipment and didnʼt owe them anything, it was still unethical of him to go against them.

”Vortex Viper, the current situation isnʼt looking good.” OneManMedia pursed his lips.

And he continued, ”The tension in Garak Forest is rising exponentially, and almost everyone refuses to let our Vanguard Guild get any more advantage.”

It could have been said the crave for Profession Players stemmed from the Vanguard Guild. After all, they had developed early on in their Profession and made huge profits from it.

To summarize, the Vanguard Guild was like the forerunner of this change and many obviously didnʼt want them to become stronger through the Qualification Profession items.

They already had the foundation, but they lacked the manpower to continue to advance.

This was something that most people knew as they sent in their own spies to investigate.

That was why most people didnʼt collaborate but still subtly agreed to hinder the Vanguard Guild from completing the necessary mission given to them by the special NPC.

However, they didnʼt dare to target all and only chose the lower-ranking members.

First of all, the elite members required a lot of time and people to hinder.

Secondly, these guilds were still somewhat wary of the unknown town location that the Vanguard Guild owned.

Had it not been for that fact, then OneManMedia reckoned that they would have already been eradicated from Garak Forest and isolated by these guilds and adventure teams.

Veronica tapped her fingers on the desk. She naturally understood that they were barely scraping by because of the town they owned.

It was just that she couldnʼt afford to reveal that, much less the Forsaken Set that Crimson Heart successfully crafted.

ʼUgh, just what is the Guild Leader and Carmen doing? Troubles immediately arise the moment these two disappear. Could it be that the enemies had spies reporting their location every time?ʼ She frowned a bit.

By now, she had her suspicion that these people dared to do such an act because their spies hadnʼt seen their Guild Leader for a while.

Maybe the first bout they received was just a test of the water. After all, they didnʼt dare to openly target their members in the beginning.

It was only when she tried to send the Neo and Hex Team to deal with them, followed by being overwhelmed by the enemyʼs number count did they began to brazenly act in the open.

Such a large matter, but no sign of the Vanguard Guild Leader naturally made their courage rise further.

Some of these enemies even began to spread rumors in the Game Forum that their Guild Leader was imprisoned for being arrogant, trapped in some space, or occupied by an important task.

Although Veronica had tried to mitigate the damage, it was hard for others to not believe when Xu Feng hadnʼt made any responses.

Her eyes gazed at the Game Forum, and her frown deepened.

”OneManMedia, how many elites can we gather at once?” She narrowed her eyes and asked solemnly.

With the situation deteriorating like this, she ultimately decided to make a decision herself. To equip these elites with the Forsaken Set and do a sweeping thunderous motion.

If she wasnʼt going to do anything, then she would just continue to suppress her anger. But once she decided to do something, then she would give her utmost effort to accomplish it.

She had already tried the soft approach, but it was evident that these people always had terrible memories. They never ceased to amaze her at how easily they forgot how their enemies suffered.

”We have around 30 elite members who could be deployed.” OneManMedia hurriedly reported. These 30 elites were all people who became motivated and envious of the treatment that Neo and Hex Team received.

Therefore, they were more than eager to be deployed and receive a chance to earn great merits and contributions for the guild.

One couldnʼt just simply create a team within their guild. They had to either earn the approval of the higher-ups or have high merit points to even make a request.

Hence, Veronicaʼs declaration was equivalent to granting the chance they had been waiting for.

Moreover, OneManMedia could already smell the content that it would generate once he streamed the scene.

ʼIʼve been blasted daily for the content being mediocre after producing three top hits. I can finally shut them up.ʼ He thought to himself.

Ever since he had streamed the large-scale raid, Guild War, and their Honorary Elderʼs mesmerizing massacre in killing his way to rescue the Guild Commander, his videos were constantly trending.

It was to the point where he was repeatedly invited by news media to be interviewed and discussed about them.

Such a feeling was as if he was swimming on cloud nine, especially when his former company tried to cozy up to him.

Meanwhile, Veronica stared at OneManMedia with a sly smile.

How could she not know what he was thinking?

”OneManMedia,” she called out.

”Yes, Guild Captain?”

”Go meet with Crimson Heart and ask her for three Forsaken Sets. Iʼm sure your next stream is going to be another banger if you know what I mean.”

ʼForsaken Set?ʼ OneManMedia was startled by the name. Nevertheless, he kept a calm composure on the surface and nodded his head.

After OneManMedia left the office, Veronica opened her interface and messaged Crimson Heart about her intention.

”If the Guild Leader wants to reprimand me, then so be it. Iʼd rather resolve the issue and provide some results than have him return to clear the mess.” She muttered, unwilling to be one of those useless higher-ups who couldnʼt accomplish anything.
