God's Imitator

Hearing these words, the originally somewhat tense atmosphere relaxed considerably.

”Hm? That makes sense. It’s time to make Lawyer Lin do more work!”

”I have no objection if it’s given to Lawyer Lin. Even if he decides to bring in Lu Xinyi, I’d support it.”

”Pfft, wishful thinking. Taking everything, huh? Lu Xinyi is ruling like an emperor in Community 3. Why would she come here?”

”I was just giving an example.”

Wang Yongxin also nodded, ”Well, if that’s the case, I’d only accept Lawyer Lin having this recruitment power.”

He looked at Lin Sizhi, ”This time you have no reason to decline.

”If you don’t take this job, it means you think this method is unreliable.

”We might as well honestly return to the old path of voting for recruitment. Even if we recruit wrongly, it doesn’t matter. Since it’s a group decision, no matter what consequences arise, everyone shares the responsibility.”

Cai Zhiyuan also looked at Lin Sizhi but after brief consideration, Lin Sizhi readily agreed, ”Sure, no problem.”Now it was Cai Zhiyuan’s turn to be surprised.

Because previously, whether it was proposals or the death immunity token, Lin Sizhi had directly declined everything cleanly, so Cai Zhiyuan subconsciously thought this time would be the same.

From the current situation, only very few players could obtain the ’recruitment power’ in games.

Everyone had to recognize that this player simultaneously possessed the ability to judge other players in ’loyalty, values, and personal ability’ before giving this power.

To judge others, you first have to meet these standards yourself, right?

So this was actually having all players select someone based on these three conditions.

Wang Yongxin would definitely be excluded, because many players in the community didn’t quite recognize his values and somewhat doubted his loyalty.

Among the remaining people, as long as Lin Sizhi didn’t take this job, this position would still most likely fall to Li Renshu.

In that case, Cai Zhiyuan’s goal would naturally be perfectly achieved.

Unexpectedly, Lin Sizhi accepted very straightforwardly, making this issue suddenly no longer in suspense.

After brief consideration, Cai Zhiyuan nodded, ”That’s naturally best.”

Wang Yongxin had been somewhat nervous before, but now felt like laughing.

Although Lin Sizhi had been viewed as a member of the five-person group from beginning to end, he had actually never truly integrated, nor did it mean he would forever sit by and watch the situation develop in a direction favorable to the current power core.

For most players in the community at this time, although they had recognized Li Renshu as the power core, it didn’t mean they were willing to hand all power to Li Renshu.

The power to submit proposals was given, the power over the death immunity token was given. If the recruitment power was given too, it would be a bit much.

So as long as Lin Sizhi was willing to accept, other people would definitely give him the recruitment power.

Although Wang Yongxin himself couldn’t obtain this power, the current situation was a completely acceptable result.

Li Renshu had no objection to this either.

”Good, then the power to ’poach people’ is entrusted to Lawyer Lin.

”Other players who enter games with Lawyer Lin can also have veto power. The specific situation will be decided by you all in the game.

”Do we need to pass a special proposal for this?”

Wang Yongxin thought for a moment, ”Let’s pass it. Even if only for the sense of ceremony, it’s necessary.”

Others unanimously agreed.

Obviously, if this matter wasn’t determined through a proposal, other players would still have the possibility to exploit loopholes.

For example, if Wang Yongxin, Yang Yuting, and Xu Tong participated in a game and the community happened to have a vacancy, and they directly poached someone over, then whether to kick this person out or not?

Other players were the same.

Although this possibility wasn’t high, because once done it would easily become a community enemy, it could still potentially happen. Better to exclude it from the start through a proposal.

The content of this proposal was very simple, so Li Renshu didn’t spend much time completing it.

[A player has proposed a motion. The community has reviewed and approved it.]

[Within the next 1 hour, please have all members enter the ’Community Management Office’ or vote anonymously on their personal computers.]

[If this proposal receives more than half support, it will be implemented as a basic rule.]

[Proposal content: Add supplementary rules for ’Replacing Community Members’.]

[1. Only this community’s Player No. 12, Lin Sizhi, has the power to propose accepting new community members in games. Other players’ proposals to accept new members in games will be considered invalid.]

[2. Other rules are consistent with the basic rules for ’Replacing Community Members’.]

Simply put, one restriction was added to the original rules: in games, only Lin Sizhi could do the poaching. Other players only had veto power, not proposal power.

Soon, the vote passed.

[Voting completed.]

[Now announcing anonymous voting results:]

[In favor: 8 votes.]

[Against: 3 votes.]

[’Replacing Community Members’ supplementary rules established.]

The appearance of opposing votes was normal. These people weren’t necessarily opposing Lin Sizhi, but merely opposing the proposal itself but regardless, the proposal passed. Going back to scrutinize the specific vote distribution was meaningless. This was anonymous voting.

Li Renshu looked at Lin Sizhi, ”Then this heavy responsibility is placed on your shoulders from now on, Lawyer Lin.

”If the next game has relatively many players, you can try to find suitable candidates within the game.

”Of course, entering any game may involve certain risks, so still make protecting yourself the first priority. If you encounter a game that seems high-risk, you don’t necessarily have to participate just to poach people.

”If it really doesn’t work, we’ll still use the old method for recruitment.”

Lin Sizhi nodded, ”Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing.”

If choosing among game types, the most suitable games for poaching would definitely be distribution-type games, because these games have almost no death risk.

Judgment-type games were least suitable for poaching, because the same community generally wouldn’t have 3 people enter, and judged players more or less all carried some problems or hidden dangers.

Screening-type games were somewhere in between. Although there were many choices for poaching and 3 or more players could enter, they inherently had a certain mortality rate.

If two players from the home community both faced death risks, the death immunity token could only save one but this wasn’t something players could choose themselves. After all, no one knew what type the next game would specifically be. They could only take it step by step.

Finally, Li Renshu made a summary statement.

”Then let’s end this discussion here. Let’s see the specific situation of the next game. If Lawyer Lin is willing to enter and can find suitable candidates, we’ll use the poaching method to supplement new members.

”If we can’t poach suitable candidates, we don’t need to stubbornly wait. We’ll directly use the old method and recruit through voting within the community.

”Alright, everyone should be tired too. Let’s stop here for today. Get some good rest!”
