God's Imitator

Yang Yuting quickly said, ”Jiang He, I don’t care how exactly you want to judge, but judging from the situation in the first prisoner room, each prisoner room most likely has one man and one woman with roughly similar crimes.

”So what you should do now is stop thinking and give them both exactly the same judgment.

”Even if you want to earn childbirth fund and judge them both death penalty, that’s fine. The key point is the judgments must be the same, understand?”

Jiang He obviously didn’t quite agree with this statement, but Yang Yuting’s attitude was very firm, so she could only compromise.

”Fine. Disciplinary action!”

As Jiang He struck the gavel making the ’disciplinary action’ judgment, the mechanism sealing the criminal’s mouth automatically opened, allowing her to emit shrill screams.

If it were ’death penalty,’ the mechanism on the mouth wouldn’t open.

Afterward, all the mechanisms unlocked, and this female criminal also fell to the ground.

”What’s your name? Which community?” Jiang He asked.

As stated in the crimes, this female criminal looked younger than Bai Yanyan, appearing not yet 20 years old.She sobbed quietly, saying in a low voice, ”My name is Chen Xin, Community 19.”

Jiang He helped her up, and everyone continued to the other half of the second judgment room.

Sure enough, this time a male criminal was locked to the wall.

[During domestic violence, used an axe to wound wife’s head, causing minor injury grade one.]

[Judgment result: Sentenced to 6 years imprisonment for attempted intentional homicide. Sentence already completed.]

But seeing the specific crimes and judgment, everyone was stunned.

Because this had a slight difference from the first prisoner room.

In the first prisoner room, the male and female criminals’ crimes were similar, the judgments were similar, and overall they were on the lighter side.

Originally, everyone subconsciously thought the second prisoner room would be the same situation, but now they discovered: the female criminal’s sentencing was still light, but the male criminal’s sentencing was roughly normal.

Originally, Jiang He felt that choosing ’disciplinary action’ for both criminals this time would be fine.

But now, with the female criminal’s sentencing being lighter and the male criminal’s sentencing being heavier, if they both chose ’disciplinary action,’ it still wasn’t quite right.

What if they judged the male criminal ’not guilty’?

Just thinking of this possibility made Jiang He feel viscerally disgusted.

On one hand, ’disciplinary action’ only cost 1,000 childbirth fund points, while ’not guilty’ cost 10,000 points, this was a huge difference.

On the other hand, domestic violence was always committed by repeat offenders. This male criminal definitely hadn’t beaten his wife just once; it was just that this time he went too far, so something major happened and he got caught.

A domestic abuser who used an axe to chop his own wife was, in Jiang He’s view, worse than cats, dogs, and beasts. Killing him directly would be reasonable and justified.

She looked at Yang Yuting. Yang Yuting silently shook her head.

There were only 3 prisoner rooms total, meaning 3 female criminals and 3 male criminals each.

If they killed this male criminal again, it would mean at most only 2 male players could use mechanism 2.

What if the next criminal was utterly wicked and must receive death penalty?

Could they really make Li Jiang use it a full 10 times by himself? That would be too exaggerated.

Not guilty? Death penalty?

Both seemed like unacceptable options.

Then they could only choose ’disciplinary action.’

As Jiang He struck the gavel, this male criminal also instinctively let out a scream, but immediately after, he gritted his teeth tightly and glared at Jiang He.

Jiang He’s expression became even more unpleasant. She felt the other party was provoking her but the judgment had been made and couldn’t be reversed.

The mechanisms unlocked, and this male criminal fell to the ground.

Li Jiang waited a moment. Seeing that Jiang He apparently had no intention of stepping forward to help, he could only go forward himself.

”What’s your name? Which community? Can you still walk?”

The male criminal stood up with Li Jiang’s support, ”Fei Xiong, Community 7.”

Li Jiang didn’t say much more. He had no good impression of this kind of extremely violent domestic abuser either.

He just had Fei Xiong follow behind and continue the game.

…

The second judgment room also had childbirth torture devices, but this time there was 1 mechanism 1 and 2 mechanism 2 devices.

Li Jiang pointed to one of the mechanism 2 devices. Without wasting many words, he drove Fei Xiong onto it.

Although Fei Xiong was also injured, obviously Li Jiang wouldn’t let him rest comfortably in the back because of this little injury.

Li Jiang himself also got onto another mechanism 2 device.

”Finish using them early, leave early.”

After Li Jiang finished speaking, he had Chen Yumei press the start buttons for both of them again.

Then he and Fei Xiong screamed together.

Jiang He looked at Bai Yanyan, then at Chen Xin.

Her own stamina hadn’t fully recovered yet. If she used mechanism 1 now, she wasn’t sure if she could persist to the end.

If she failed midway, all previous efforts would be wasted.

Moreover, both Bai Yanyan and Chen Xin were criminals. There was no reason for them to do nothing and stay out of it the whole time.

Jiang He said to Bai Yanyan, ”You go use mechanism 1. You’ve rested all the way here. It’s about time.”

Bai Yanyan showed a terrified expression, ”I... I can’t... I can’t bear it...”

Jiang He reassured her, ”Don’t worry. I tried it before. It’s actually not that heavy. Just grit your teeth and persist.

”We have many people and can take turns sharing. You should at least use it once, right?”

Bai Yanyan didn’t dare disobey and could only walk into mechanism 1 and position herself under the weight.

Jiang He pressed the start button.

Her shoulders suddenly sank heavily. Bai Yanyan felt as if her original wounds were instantly torn open, transmitting severe pain. She instinctively wanted to cry out.

Jiang He reminded her, ”Don’t shout! Grit your teeth and endure it!”

Bai Yanyan gritted her teeth tightly. Perhaps because of adrenaline, this pain actually made her burst out with extra strength, firmly resisting the weight.

Everyone watched full of anxiety. Fortunately, Bai Yanyan ultimately persisted.

”Well done! Good job!”

Jiang He embraced Bai Yanyan who had fallen to the ground, gently patting the areas without wounds to comfort her.

They created 1 more ’male badge’ and 2 more ’female badges.’

Everyone looked at the panel. They now had 2 ’childbirth badges’ and an additional 2 ’female badges.’

Moreover, judging from the current situation, there was good news: mechanism 1 wasn’t as difficult as imagined. Even relatively frail women could persist.

They just needed to recover stamina and couldn’t use it consecutively but this didn’t matter either, because with more female players, they could take turns sharing and still complete the game objective.

Another piece of good news was that although the game rules said both mechanisms only had ’a certain probability’ of creating badges, judging from the current situation, this probability shouldn’t be too low.

Because all badge creation attempts so far had succeeded.

[Remaining childbirth fund: 187,000]

[Childbirth badges: 2]

[Male badges: 0]

[Female badges: 2]

After resting briefly, everyone continued into the corridor, heading to the third judgment room.
