God's Imitator

Yang Yuting looked somewhat worried, ”Ah, in that case, mechanism 1 is indeed quite dangerous too.

”Can you handle it yourself? Assuming we need to create 10 childbirth badges, wouldn’t you have to use mechanism 1 ten times yourself? That’s too dangerous, isn’t it?”

Li Jiang spread his hands, ”Then what can we do? Mechanism 1 clearly has physical strength requirements. Even if we’re very lucky and don’t get injured, just enduring heavy weight for 2 minutes isn’t something you all could withstand. Only men can do it.

”We can only hope there are more male criminals later. Perhaps after releasing them, they can share more of the burden for me.”

Jiang He frowned, ”Why does it sound like mechanism 2 is easy when you talk about it?

”Mechanism 1 only has injury risk, but mechanism 2 is 100% certain to inflict severe pain throughout the entire body, and even has a 1% death risk.”

Li Jiang spread his hands, ”A 1% death risk is very low.

”Do you know, according to insurance company data, what’s the probability of a person dying before age 30? 1.36%.

”Your probability of dying from using this mechanism is roughly equivalent to a normal person’s probability of dying prematurely before age 30.

”If you really encounter it, you’d better reflect on what outrageous things you’ve done to deserve divine punishment. ”Of course, if used 10 times consecutively, the death rate might rise to around 10%, but the mechanism can be shared.

”As for severe pain throughout the body, it’s just 2 minutes. What’s the big deal about that?

”If you really think mechanism 1 is more cost-effective, then you bind mechanism 1 for yourself. I have no objection.

”If you use mechanism 2, I’ll use it as many times as needed. My word is my bond.”

Jiang He frowned, ”Fine, you said it, so you create all the ’female badges.’”

Li Jiang said indifferently, ”I have no problem with that. It’s easier than me creating all the male badges.”

Yang Yuting felt the atmosphere was somewhat off. The game hadn’t even officially started yet, and things were already getting tense.

According to the game rules, the two players who were forced to enter the game had both posted extreme statements online.

Li Jiang’s performance quite fit this description.

The key was that he had memorized a lot of data, and with data, things sounded more convincing.

Jiang He had no way to verify the authenticity of this data, nor did she have data to refute it, so she felt somewhat stifled.

Yang Yuting quickly tugged at Jiang He, ”Don’t be impulsive. Li Jiang is right. Having me endure pain for 2 minutes is nothing. At worst, I’ll scream a few times. But this heavy weight, I really don’t think I can bear it.”

The mechanism was right here, so the heavy weight was also clearly visible.

Although the specific weight wasn’t labeled, the size wasn’t small. It had to be at least around 30 kilograms.

It wasn’t a big problem for men, but would be quite strenuous for women.

Yang Yuting was a wealthy young lady who had never carried anything heavy since childhood. Seeing this weight made her feel even less confident but Jiang He shook her head and still said, ”The more you say this, the more mechanism 1 should be bound to women.

”Our current ratio has more women than men. What if Li Jiang can’t persist through 10 uses of mechanism 1?

”Conversely, since Li Jiang believes he can use mechanism 2 unlimited times, we can allocate mechanism 2 to him, and we’ll take turns sharing mechanism 1. This is a more appropriate method.” R𝖆𐌽ȮʙĘŠ

At the same time, Jiang He gave Yang Yuting a look, as if hinting that she had another plan.

Yang Yuting looked at Chen Yumei, who had been silently following behind Li Jiang, ”What’s your opinion?”

Chen Yumei said in a low voice, ”I’ll listen to Li Jiang.”

Jiang He looked at her with some disappointment and frustration.

Yang Yuting had no choice either. Now there were four people total. Three people all agreed with the ’men bind mechanism 2’ plan. She alone objecting didn’t seem to work.

Both mechanisms indeed had their respective dangers. Mechanism 2 was easier for women to complete, but it also had a real death rate.

If they could persist under the heavy pressure of mechanism 1 through sharing, and not trigger injuries too many times, then considering avoiding any death risk, female players actively choosing mechanism 1 couldn’t be considered wrong.

Both mechanisms had their respective problems. It was hard to say which choice was more cost-effective.

Yang Yuting finally nodded, ”Fine, but I’ll state upfront that I might not be able to persist through 2 minutes when using mechanism 1...”

Li Jiang said indifferently, ”It’s okay. If you can’t persist, it’s not your fault. If it really doesn’t work, we can spend extra childbirth fund to reduce the difficulty.”

Jiang He operated on the interfaces of the two mechanisms, then struck the gavel, officially completing the binding.

Mechanism 1 was bound to females, mechanism 2 to males.

The game hadn’t officially started yet, so everyone could only wait.

Just then, the broadcast voice sounded again.

[The audience has shared suggestions for clearing this game with you.]

[The first suggestion is: Save many.]

[The second suggestion is: Kill all.]

[Please carefully consider the meaning behind the suggestions. Only you yourselves can be responsible for the final outcome of this game.]

Everyone was stunned for a moment.

”What is this? These two suggestions contradict each other, don’t they?”

…

A bit earlier.

Lin Sizhi, Li Renshu, Fu Chen, Zhou Guifen, and Cao Haichuan, these five players who entered the game as ’audience members,’ arrived in the same space.

This was a quite spacious waiting room or lounge, sufficient to accommodate 5 people, with comfortable sofas, a large screen that could broadcast live footage from inside the game in real-time, and a rather large control console.

Through the large screen, they also learned all the game rules on the inner field players’ side.

During the time when the inner field players waited for the game to officially start, the large screen in the audience lounge began broadcasting the game rules for the audience side.

[As voluntarily registered players, your identity in this game is: audience.]

[Audience members don’t need to personally enter the field to participate in the game. As long as you follow the rules, you won’t suffer any punishment, nor receive any benefits.]

[In this game, there are 10 audience members total. The 5 audience members from Community 13 are in another lounge. You won’t meet. But you can all influence the game’s progress through the following three methods:]

[1. Off-field assistance with questions]

[Inner field players will encounter situations in the game where they answer questions to earn ’childbirth fund.’ When they seek help from the audience, you can help them find the correct answers.]

[Off-field question assistance is limited to 2 times. Specific rules will be introduced in detail later.]

[2. Verdict consistency voting]

[When inner field players leave each judgment room, all audience members must each conduct a ’verdict consistency vote.’]

[So-called ’verdict consistency’ doesn’t require caring whether each judgment is just, only whether each judgment has consistent standards.]

[The voting process will automatically detect lies. Each insincere vote will additionally deduct 10,000 minutes of visa time.]

[3. Share clearance suggestions]

[Before the game officially begins, audience members from both communities can share one clearance suggestion with the judgment panel players.]

[Please note: This clearance suggestion is limited to 2 characters, and is strictly prohibited from containing information related to game mechanisms such as ’fairness and justice’ or ’consistency voting.’ Otherwise it will fail to pass review.]

[The audience side rules have been fully introduced. More detailed rules can be queried through the control console.]

[Now, please discuss quickly and share clearance suggestions with the inner field judgment panel players.]
