God's Imitator

Everyone came before the exit door, preparing to head to the first judgment room.

Before entering the judgment room, the door was in a locked state. Above it was a screen displaying a specific question.

According to the game rules, answering this question correctly would yield 120,000 childbirth fund points, which was a significant sum.

Everyone looked at the screen.

[When feeding a newborn who is 1 day old and relatively hungry, not considering breast milk, what is the most suitable amount for the first (single) preparation of formula milk?]

[A: 10ml]

[B: 30ml]

[C: 100ml]

[D: 150ml]

”Huh?”Seeing this question, all four people were somewhat confused.

Although they had known all along that this game was related to the ’childbirth theme,’ the specific question still completely hit everyone’s knowledge blind spot.

Yang Yuting first looked at Jiang He, ”...Didn’t you say you’d researched childbirth issues?”

Jiang He hesitated somewhat, ”I know newborns’ stomachs are very small, and the first feeding should be very little, but I’m not quite certain exactly how much.

”But choosing a relatively small option shouldn’t be wrong, right? After all, if they’re hungry, we can feed them again, but overfeeding definitely won’t work.”

Yang Yuting looked at Li Jiang again.

Li Jiang spread his hands, ”Of course I don’t know. I do know some data, but what I know is all relatively macro-level data.

”How would I know specifically how much milk to feed? Isn’t this something you women should know?”

Jiang He frowned and said, ”How is it all something women should know? Shouldn’t parents raise children fifty-fifty?”

Li Jiang said indifferently, ”Whatever amount is fine. The problem is you’re not certain either, are you?”

Everyone fell into silence.

Obviously, if no one knew, they could only guess.

Li Jiang thought seriously again, ”150ml... that’s about the amount of a small cup of water, right? That might be a bit much for a baby.

”And I think this question isn’t about the smaller the better, right? If we could pass by mindlessly choosing the minimum value, that would be too easy.

”The question asks about the amount for ’the first preparation.’ We could completely prepare more and feed less, right?”

”I think 100ml seems more like the standard answer.”

Yang Yuting quickly said, ”Hey, wait, there’s an ’ask the audience’ option here? Let’s click it and try?”

On this interface, there was indeed an inconspicuous button, [Ask Audience], and there was also a note saying ’Remaining 2 times.’

Jiang He thought for a moment, ”There are only 2 chances, but there are 3 prisoner rooms.

”For this kind of question where we can at least eliminate 2 obviously wrong answers, should we try guessing first?

”What if we encounter a question later where all 4 options leave us completely clueless?”

But the other three people all disagreed with this view.

”No, no, no, we haven’t even seen the later questions yet. We can’t guess whether they’ll be harder or simpler.”

”Right, the judgments later might use childbirth fund. We don’t have any childbirth fund right now. Let’s secure one sum first.”

”This is asking for help, not directly giving the standard answer. The audience might not know either. Ask first.”

Jiang He pressed the [Ask Audience] button.

What would happen if the audience also didn’t know the answer to this question?

This point wasn’t explained in the inner field game rules. The four could only wait patiently.

…

As Jiang He on the large screen pressed the button, a broadcast also came through in the audience lounge.

[Inner field players have chosen to ask the audience.]

[Audience members from Community 13 and Community 17 can, after full internal discussion, each provide one reference answer.]

[If there is a correct answer among them, it will be automatically submitted to the inner field players.]

[If both are wrong answers, these two incorrect options will be eliminated for the inner field players.]

Seeing these rules, everyone from Community 17 breathed a slight sigh of relief.

These rules were quite lenient.

Even if both communities guessed wrong, they could at least eliminate the options, increasing the probability of the inner field players guessing correctly.

That is, as long as they pressed the [Ask Audience] button, it would most likely be equivalent to directly giving away points but Li Renshu’s expression was still somewhat grave, ”So the question is, which one do we choose?”

Obviously, this question not only hit the knowledge blind spot of the inner field players, but also hit the knowledge blind spot of the vast majority of players from Community 17.

Fortunately, Zhou Guifen said, ”Choose B.”

Everyone couldn’t help but perk up.

Li Renshu was somewhat curious, ”Choose B? Why? Isn’t 30ml a bit too little?

”The question says the newborn is in a relatively hungry state, and only drinks formula milk, not breast milk. Is 30ml enough?”

Zhou Guifen explained, ”For some children with larger body weight and better appetites, 30ml might not be enough to fill them up, but you can’t feed too much the first time.

”Because feeding too much is very likely to cause bloating, hiccups, spitting up milk, and such.

”Of course, there are also some children who aren’t as hungry and might not be able to drink 30ml.

”But this question asks about the amount for ’the first preparation.’ 10ml of formula milk can’t be prepared, because the smallest formula milk scoop specification is only 30ml.”

Li Renshu nodded in realization, ”I see, very professional.”

Zhou Guifen was somewhat embarrassed, ”No, this is actually common sense about childcare. As long as you understand a bit of related knowledge, you can know it.”

Li Renshu shook her head, ”For us, it’s not common sense. It’s a complete knowledge blind spot.”

Everyone couldn’t help but feel fortunate that Zhou Guifen was here.

Otherwise, the other people absolutely couldn’t have known the answer clearly and would most likely have had to guess.

This was also one of the benefits of community diversity: different players’ knowledge structures could complement each other, preventing being hit by the same knowledge blind spot and ending up completely helpless.

Li Renshu submitted option B.

On the inner field players’ side, the answering process was directly skipped, automatically selecting the correct answer and settling.

[The audience has provided the correct answer: B]

[Congratulations, you have obtained 120,000 childbirth fund points.]

All four people were very happy. At the same time, the door leading to the first judgment room also opened.

In Community 17’s audience waiting room, everyone was also very happy but some people also showed worried expressions.

Although they answered the first question correctly, the situation was very pessimistic.

Because asking the audience only had 2 chances, Zhou Guifen could help them at most one more time.

This game had a ’childbirth theme.’ Before entering the game, Li Renshu had suggested that Jiang He consider bringing Zhou Guifen in, but Jiang He insisted on bringing Yang Yuting.

If Zhou Guifen were in the game now, the later questions would most likely all be answered correctly, and they wouldn’t be subject to the limitation of 2 times but things had come to this point. The audience couldn’t do anything either. They could only watch the images on the large screen and wait patiently.
