God's Imitator

From a realistic legal perspective, He Xiaojun could be considered a perfect victim, with little to criticize from either a legal or moral standpoint but for the Gallery, all of humanity’s original sins could become reasons for judgment.

For a God’s Imitator to kill someone like He Xiaojun would be extremely simple because his weaknesses were too obvious and too easy to exploit.

It could even be said that the fact He Xiaojun had managed to survive until now in the cruel New World was largely due to luck.

Take this judgment game invitation, for example.

If Lin Sizhi hadn’t selected He Xiaojun’s file, and some other God’s Imitator was in a bad mood and wanted to earn more visa time, they could simply design a judgment game, concentrate some visa time on He Xiaojun, then kill him and cash out.

Therefore, Lin Sizhi ultimately decided to design a judgment game for He Xiaojun.

Taking out the planning document for this game, Lin Sizhi noticed some relatively noteworthy information in the available props list.

[2. Dagger: Unlimited.]

[4. Judgment platforms that can be set with different punishment schemes: 6.]

[5. Judgment rooms that can be arranged at will: 6.]Compared to the numerous other various props, ’daggers,’ a very specific type of cold weapon, had been placed in a rather prominent position on the props list.

This also represented the Gallery’s attitude, encouraging God’s Imitators to design around cold weapons like daggers in the Gallery, which would inevitably result in all the judgment games selected this time being tinged with a strong bloody color.

Additionally, the judgment platforms and judgment rooms also limited the game’s detailed process to a certain extent.

After careful consideration, Lin Sizhi wrote down the name of this game in the planning document.

’Coward’s Judgment.’

For some people, this might be a relatively simple game, but for He Xiaojun, he would either die in this game or have to abandon his cowardly self and learn how to survive in the New World.

…

Three days later, in the morning.

In the hall of Community 14, new information appeared on the large screen.

[Good morning, players!]

[The ’Gallery’ will open in 5 minutes.]

[The name of this game is ’Coward’s Judgment,’ and the game objective is ’Judge the Sinner.’]

[The player from this community forced to participate is: He Xiaojun.]

[This game has no voluntary participation slots.]

[Please be prepared.]

He Xiaojun, who was eating breakfast in a corner of the hall, nearly went into cardiac arrest. His entire body froze in place, as if time had stopped.

…

In the hall of Community 17, the broadcast notification of the game opening also appeared on the large screen simultaneously.

[Good morning, players!]

[The ’Gallery’ will open in 5 minutes.]

[The name of this game is ’Childbirth Judgment,’ and the game objective is ’Judge the Sinner.’]

[The player from this community forced to participate is: Jiang He.]

[The player forced to participate may designate any other player from this community as an assistant to enter the game together to complete the judgment.]

[Additionally, this game allows another 5 players to voluntarily register as ’audience members.’ As long as they don’t violate the rules, there is no risk, but they also cannot obtain any rewards from the game.]

[Please be prepared, players.]

Everyone’s expressions were somewhat solemn.

”As expected, a judgment game!”

By this point, everyone had basically figured out the Gallery’s patterns.

Currently, there were three main types of games appearing in the Gallery, namely distribution-type, screening-type, and judgment-type.

Distribution-type games were like ’Blood Poker’ and ’Conglomerate Nation,’ mainly used to earn visa time, possibly involving community confrontation, and generally not involving death risks.

Screening-type games were like ’Blind Date Game,’ which set certain conditions and specifically screened a particular group of people, with fixed death quotas.

Judgment-type games didn’t need explanation.

Although games of the same type could be further subdivided, the Gallery’s procedural arrangement generally involved ’judgment-type games’ and ’other type games’ alternating.

So after earning a large amount of visa time splendidly in ’Conglomerate Nation,’ a new judgment game would definitely arrive, and most people were already mentally prepared.

It was just that seeing the specific game notification showed clear differences from previous judgment-type games.

This game was called ’Childbirth Judgment,’ and the player selection mode seemed to have certain similarities with ’King’s Judgment.’

Both were divided into ’inner field players’ and ’audience.’

Of course, the audience for this game was different from the audience in the King’s game. The broadcast had already made it clear that there was no risk but also no rewards.

Whereas the audience in the King’s game could potentially earn visa time from the game.

Judging from the current situation, the audience entering this game was purely charitable in nature, with no benefits to themselves, but should at least be able to help the in-field players in some way. They couldn’t possibly be going in just to find a good viewing spot, right?

And there was only one person who could truly help the judged player.

The judged player could designate any player from the community as an assistant to enter the game together to complete the judgment.

This also meant that the designated person would likewise face certain dangers.

Jiang He was the only person selected to be forced to participate in this game. Her first reaction was panic, but soon, she seemed to muster up courage.

She tugged at Yang Yuting, ”Yuting! See, I told you we’d eventually get a chance to perform.”

Yang Yuting was inexplicably pulled and felt something was wrong, but before she could speak, Li Renshu spoke first.

”Time is tight, only five minutes. The urgent task is to determine the candidates for ’assistant’ and ’audience.’

”Judging from the name of the game, this game is very likely related to ’childbirth.’

”Auntie Zhou, you should have raised children, right? If it’s knowledge related to childbirth, do you know much?”

Zhou Guifen nodded, ”I should be fine.”

Li Renshu looked at Jiang He, ”I think you can consider choosing Auntie Zhou as your assistant to prevent any childbirth-related issues that might appear in the game involving knowledge blind spots.

”Of course, you could also consider seeking help from Lawyer Lin, Officer Cao, or Brother Wang.”

However, Jiang He shook her head, ”No, I already have the best candidate for assistant.

”Yuting, will you participate in this game with me?”

Yang Yuting immediately panicked, ”What are you saying? I know absolutely nothing about childbirth!”

Jiang He comforted her, ”Don’t worry. Have you forgotten what my main job is? As an editor, I’ve also researched topics related to childbirth. I believe I can contribute on these issues.

”Moreover, I’ve been preparing during this time, studying many previous judgment-type games, especially the mechanism of ’King’s Judgment.’

”We will definitely clear this game smoothly and earn a lot of visa time!”

[Assistant has been selected: Yang Yuting.]

The five minutes were very brief and didn’t leave everyone much time for discussion.

Li Renshu hurriedly said, ”Audience members volunteer to register. Quickly, five people is enough.”

Fu Chen, Cao Haichuan, Zhou Guifen, Li Renshu, and Lin Sizhi raised their hands in sequence, completing the registration.

Jiang He reassured them, ”Don’t worry! We won’t need too much help from you. Yuting and I will perfectly solve the game! I hope you can watch our performance well from the audience seats.”

Yang Yuting felt like the sky was falling. She still wanted to say something more, but the 5-minute countdown had already ended.

The seven players instantly disappeared from the hall.
