God's Imitator

Hearing this, all four people frowned slightly.

This sounded more difficult than imagined.

Ten childbirth badges meant 10 male badges and 10 female badges each, 20 total.

Moreover, the rules said using the mechanisms only had ’a certain probability’ of obtaining badges, and didn’t even specify what this probability was.

The lower the probability, the more times each person would need to use the mechanisms on average. Was this reasonable?

Furthermore, using these mechanisms required a childbirth fund, and the game hadn’t yet introduced where the childbirth fund came from.

Judging from the game mechanism, players had to earn enough childbirth fund to use the mechanisms 20 times, otherwise ’creating 10 childbirth badges’ would be an absolutely impossible goal to complete.

[After the game officially begins, the doors in front of you will open, allowing you to go to three different ’judgment rooms.’]

[Inside each judgment room are two sinners awaiting judgment.]

[Among the judgment panel, two players were forcibly selected by the game to participate. You haven’t committed serious crimes, only posted many controversial statements inciting hatred online, therefore you won’t become the main subjects of judgment.] [However, most of the sinners in these judgment rooms are actual criminals.]

[Before entering each judgment room, you must first answer a specific question. If you answer correctly, you’ll be rewarded with 120,000 childbirth fund points. If you answer incorrectly, there’s no reward.]

[After entering a judgment room, that sinner’s crimes will be automatically read aloud.]

[The Chief Judge must have thorough discussions with the jurors and ultimately strike the gavel on the judgment platform to render a verdict.]

[Based on the criminals’ specific crimes and comparing them with the results of their legal judgment in reality, you can make three different choices to ’add additional judgment’ to the original result:]

[’Not Guilty,’ ’Disciplinary Action,’ and ’Death Penalty.’]

[If you want to add judgment of ’Not Guilty’: you need to additionally spend 10,000 childbirth fund points.]

[If you want to add judgment of ’Disciplinary Action’: you need to additionally spend 1,000 childbirth fund points.]

[If you want to add judgment of ’Death Penalty’: you will additionally receive 10,000 childbirth fund points.]

[Additionally, if you add judgment of ’Not Guilty’ or ’Disciplinary Action,’ the sinner will be released and complete the remaining game together with you.]

[At the end of the game, if there’s remaining ’childbirth fund,’ then every 1 fund point can be converted to ’10 minutes of visa time,’ with a maximum conversion of 300,000 minutes of visa time. The proceeds will be equally divided among all surviving inner field players.]

[The above are all the rules of this game. For more rules, please explore them yourself during the game.]

[The game will officially begin in 10 minutes. Good luck!]

Everyone digested the specific rules of this game for a moment.

Although there was quite a bit of content, summarized, there were actually just two main steps.

Step one, go to each judgment room, judge the sinners who committed serious crimes, and earn or consume childbirth fund.

Those sinners whose crimes didn’t warrant death could be considered for a changed verdict to not guilty or reduced sentence, saving them to complete the game together. As for those who were utterly wicked, directly change their verdict to death penalty in exchange for childbirth fund.

As for what use were the saved sinners?

Step two, everyone shares the number of uses of these two machines, creating 10 childbirth badges to ensure they don’t trigger the ’Barbarian Population Invasion’ death penalty mechanism. Р𝘼ＮȮᛒÈṤ

If there was remaining childbirth fund, then everyone could share the money. If there was no remainder, that was also fine. Being able to return safely from a judgment game was already quite worth celebrating.

…

Li Jiang had already come before these two different mechanism torture devices, observing carefully.

”Look, these two mechanism torture devices need to be bound to genders for use.”

The other three people came over to check. Indeed, beside these two mechanism torture devices was a specific usage instruction.

[The usage fee for ’childbirth torture devices’ has three different amounts: 10,000 childbirth fund, 15,000 childbirth fund, and 20,000 childbirth fund.]

[When 10,000 childbirth fund is invested, these two mechanism torture devices will operate in standard mode:]

[Mechanism 1: The player will endure heavy pressure for 2 minutes, with a 5% probability of needle puncture wounds in non-vital areas all over the body.]

[Mechanism 2: The player’s entire body will be connected to electrodes, enduring 2 minutes of severe pain, with a 1% probability of death.]

[When 15,000 childbirth fund is invested, the heavy pressure and electric shock time, as well as injury and death probabilities, will all be reduced to 1/2 of the original.]

[When 20,000 childbirth fund is invested, there will be no harm whatsoever.]

One rule was specially marked:

[Before officially starting the game, the Chief Judge must bind mechanism 1 and mechanism 2 to specific genders for use, and the binding cannot be changed afterward.]

[Timeout will result in random binding.]

Yang Yuting thought for a moment, ”This means we can bind mechanism 1 for male use and mechanism 2 for female use.

”After binding, female players can’t use mechanism 1, and vice versa.”

Li Jiang silently sighed, ”Although I’m the only male present, I can only use mechanism 1.”

Yang Yuting nodded thoughtfully, ”It seems so. These two mechanism torture devices seem to correspond to the different roles men and women play in the childbirth process.

”The characteristics of mechanism 2 are especially obvious. Severe pain plus 1% death rate, this is clearly alluding to women giving birth, right?”

Jiang He frowned slightly, not quite agreeing with this view.

”Mechanism 2 being related to giving birth is fine, but what about mechanism 1? Men don’t need to give birth either. What do enduring heavy pressure and 5% probability of needle puncture wounds allude to?”

Li Jiang stated matter-of-factly, ”Of course it represents the family responsibilities and economic pressure men bear during the childbirth process.”

Jiang He countered, ”Heavy pressure barely relates, but what does the high 5% injury risk represent? How could it be so much higher than women’s childbirth mortality rate?”

Li Jiang wasn’t stumped, ”You’ve really asked the right person. This represents ’work-related injuries.’

”I’ve checked the data. The mortality rate for women due to childbirth is about 16 per 100,000. Even estimating by the maximum value of 300 million women of childbearing age, annual deaths are four to five thousand.

”In reality, it’s impossible for all women of childbearing age to give birth every year, so the real death count is at most one to two thousand.

”But the annual number of male deaths from work-related injuries is about 100,000, accounting for about 90% of total work injuries.”

Jiang He was stunned, ”Don’t women have work-related injuries?”

Li Jiang nodded, ”Of course they do. I said before, male deaths from work-related injuries account for 90% of the total. The remaining 10% is women.

”Estimating down, the number of female deaths from work injuries and childbirth won’t exceed 20,000, while males from work injuries alone are 100,000.

”The probabilities of these two machines are 5% and 1% respectively, which roughly corresponds, but if we look at real data, mechanism 1’s 5% shouldn’t be injury probability, it should be death probability.

”We can only say that compared to the cruel real world, the God’s Imitator who designed this game still showed mercy to men.”
