ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

Now then, I took the liberty of running around for a few minutes and try to get my bearings, and here’s what I was able to find: the most dangerous thing in here is not the “Holy Sword”. Not at all. …… The thing that I must be vigilant about all the time are those blasted scissor-claws. No, to be perfectly honest, both the scissor-claws and Holy Sword are equally as dangerous here, but it is actually the scissor-claws that managed to exceed all expectations in here. And I do not use that term lightly.

First of all, what is really dangerous here is the range of the motions of those attacks. It could twist it like turning your forelimbs and wrists because it has a habit of moving like a scythe rather than a pair of scissors. Obviously, it is a movement in which you would handle a blade, but in this case it was very different from what you would usually do in order to handle a weapon like that.

And then we have the “Holy Sword”. Obviously it’s dangerous, it’s clear as day to see. And if you look at the characteristics of the Crystal Scorpion series of monsters, even though this thing was pretty much a sword it was acting like anything else BUT a sword.

The only saving grace here is that it is divisible. …… It doesn’t just swing the “Holy Sword” around like mad. Although it has more than enough firepower to kill us with a single blow, it swings its tail like a big attack with a completely divisible operation. In short, it’s a special move. And for a Crystal Scorpion, that’s actually something so ordinary that it might even be called uncharacteristic. Especially after all those other scorpion battles. So at this rate I think that in terms of strength we might actually be up against someone of a Saiga-100 class of opponent.

「Hazarding a guess: We might be in for a long battle here.」

「Why is that always the case with our battles!? At this rate we might actually be here until the sun rises and we won’t be able to beat it!」

Tsk, about the main firepower…… Exceed Charge would be one way to go about this, but those things are not meant for prolonged fights. I would only end up tearing my own equipment to shreds without actually knowing if it would have been a worthy sacrifice. No, maybe the Scorpion Gauntlets would be able to do the trick here since they are of the same power as the Crystal Scorpions, but other than relying on that power all the time, I should start thinking really hard about how to slash this thing to pieces with my own strength.

However, I still haven’t used up all the cards from my hand, and even if I don’t have a big trump card in there, I can win by hitting them side by side with slightly less powerful tricks…… In other words, it’s all about a Win Beat Tactics!

「Come on, I beg of you, “Swelling Whirlpool”!! Even if you can’t do one million damage with a single blow, it’s the same if you have the durability to hit 1 damage a million times over……!!」

We both have been in full operation for a long time, let’s hit each other with all the resources we have, “Golden Age”!

「Sigma! Aim for this thing’s tail! But don’t get too greedy! Even if the effect is weak, keep at it until we break it to pieces!」

Since the body of the Crystal Scorpion is almost entirely made out of crystal, it means that the scissors and tail can be destroyed to some extent…… However, if we want to destroy that stinger thing, then we must most probably aim at the very specific parts of it and be very thorough with that.

Therefore, the basic tactic here to is to try and do the same thing that we have been doing with all the other scorpions thus far, but this time around we need to adjust it for the sake of the Golden Age. But then we could just ram the scorpions into one another, but with this? It would most probably have to ram itself, huh? …… Yeah, but isn’t that like, impossible to do?

「No, I won’t give up! I refuse to give up! I won’t let you witness the dawn, you asshole!」

Here comes the Sunny Weather Style “Cutting Wind”! The Sunny Weather Style may initially seem like a sword fighting school, but in reality, they are all techniques that do not rely on swords, and the only skill to use swords is “Wind” type. But whether it doesn’t help or not is another matter. Rather, just by adding “Wind” to the technique is already promising, so let’s see about that……!

A sword is drawn in a thin line. On the contrary, when it comes to raw physique it sure has its merits, but also a fair share of demerits as well. I mean, no matter how skillfully the sword scissors move, the gap created by their size cannot be deceived.

The aim here was the head with a developed golden crystal crown on it, and the result was that I managed to hit the “hand” that came to intercept the slash. It was so hard that my hand actually felt a little bit numb as a result of the collision, but the damage was still done there.

「I’m sorry, but I don’t feel like playing a noble swordsman here!!」

Then I throw a Whirlpool Wave away and put the skill into the fist that I just grasped. Eat this! “War Orphan!!”

The soft jab creates a shock wave that even a sturdy giant like that could do nothing against. And it pushed out its body away from me. However, it seems that His Majesty the King does not intend to let me have my way so easily. The sword scissors and the tail are conspicuous and it is easy to forget that they are there, but the leg strength is what makes up the terrible mobility of this Extraordinary Monster. But I have my knockback effect! But even though I hit it directly, it didn’t blow off very much. I stepped on and endured it even though my whole body hurt like hell……!!

I caught the Whirlpool Wave that has fallen according to the physics calculation, and immediately retreated. I managed to avoid the sword scissors of the “Golden Age” who attacked with a terrifying return speed, but from this point forward it would basically be my attempt at escaping and it giving pursuit.

It is a delicate point whether it works for the “Golden Age” or not, which is almost crystallized to the bone marrow. It is not the softest thing around and it surely does not have flesh under that hardened shell. But it is still a penetrating technique. At this time, I will use up all the skills and rampage so much that I can no longer catch up with even half the recast of the “Fool” Arcana! Mark my words!
