ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「Umm, hey! Can I ask you something while we’re here, too!? There is something I would really like to know, you know!?」

「Umm! I would also like to have a question, if it’s alright with you! You see, I’m aspiring to be a Production Worker, but would it be possible to create those awesome projectile-firing gloves like the ones you have on your own!?」

What the hell is this, a “Question and Answer” corner of some lifestyle magazine!? Well, it is kind of annoying, but in a sense this also serves to alleviate some of that tension I was feeling for a while now, and all those questions wanting spoilers start to turn into motivation inside of me!

「Well, you see, this is actually a production weapon! But the materials used in its creation are so incredibly Rare to come across, that you will need a whole bunch of good luck if you want to find them! Also, since you need some really sturdy tools to get some of the ore needed for this thing, you’d better bring a skilled miner or archeologist with you on that expedition!」

But oh well, if you are determined enough to go through that Crystal Scorpion hell and emerge victorious from it, the reward that awaits you will be those Scorpion Gauntlets, since they are technically not a Unique, one-of-a-kind weapon…… Ahh, but wait, since Break made those for me, does that mean that they may very well be one-of-a-kind?

But then, the materials need for the actual weapon……I wonder if other players would be able to get them as easily as I did. Even if they stick to the cliff and try to hide, the Scorpions can still spray venom from their tail and hunt you down, so you need to be extra careful there……

It would also be about time to take some sort of measures against the INVENTORY escape tactic. So should we consider a new approach? But on the contrary, I wonder if it would be possible to activate the Scorpions of the entire Crystal Nest Cliff and cause a heavy traffic jam? If that was to happen, the Elder Crystal Scorpion will also be activated. But the problem in here would be to make it all consistent and reliable.

「Finally! Thank fuck! A successful healing……」

Those Randomly Generated Numbers are way too fucking rotten! Seventeen consecutive failures? Give me a fucking break here……

On the contrary, it’s not something to be all that proud of, but recently, it’s been always a case of great recovering failures. I mean, I would always fail the RNG at least a couple of times in a row, get one small success, and then fail miserably once more. For the results to be so extreme…… Could it really be just a coincidence?

「No, no, no! That’s not what’s important right about now! I need to focus on the battle at hand, because we are not out of the woods just yet! But hey! What’s wrong!? Forgot how to fight now that you can’t devour any more players!?」

「You’re the one to talk right now! Now, bet your ass back in here! You have about three seconds before things gradually turn to shit!」

「Huuh!? Did I heard that right!? Are you perhaps doubting the perfect performance of this Perfect Body of mine!? (native pronunciation). Is that it!? Give me two seconds and I’ll see this thing over with!」

Hey, as long as it works out in the end, you can even take one second for all that I care.

While activating the appropriate skill, I hit my chest with my right hand and jump while operating the inventory with my left hand. The good thing about ShanFro is that you can juggle skills and accessories at the same time, because there are still many shitty games out there that cancel such actions if they happen to overlap……

With my head facing down until I reach directly above the Slaughter Demon I managed to get about five meters in the air. This should be more than enough for all intends and purposes.

「It’s going to be a substitute for a guillotine, if you don’t put your neck out, you’ll get slashed directly through your brain! So pick your poison!」

At the moment when Memento Mori is deployed from the depths of my inventory all of the pieces of the puzzle become nicely aligned together: the ground, the Slaughter Demon, the big sword, and my vertical position……!

「And since we are in the air, no amount of recoil is going to save you now!」

Alright, let’s do this! The main feature of the Hakukaku Helmet “Furious Dread”……!!! Magical Power Loading, Flying Crossbow Mortar!!!

「Slaaaaaaaaaaaauughteeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!!!」

「FIRE––––––!!!!!!」」

A shock wave emitted from the protrusion of the helmet pushes out an oversized sword and knocks it down from heaven towards the earth.

And the tip of the sword looked up at me and fell into the mouth of the screaming demon as if being sucked right inside of it……!!

「THE SLAUGHTER DEMON HAS BEEN ANNIHILATED.」

「THE SWORD OF THE SLAUGHTERER RETURNS TO ITS ORIGINAL FORM.」

「AT THE CURRENT MOMENT, THE SWORD OF THE SLAUGHTERER IS MASTERLESS.」

「YOU HAVE AQUIRED THE TITLE OF: “Killing Intent”」

「THE KARMA VALUE OF THE PLAYERS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE BATTLE IS GOING TO DECREASE.」

The way in which the Slaughter Demon started to disappear was so gross and graphic that I do not want to ever experience how it feels to disappear like that.

And Memento Mori falls to the ground and as for the Sword of the Slaughter … The silent two-edged blade showed that the frenzy of the slaughter had come to an end. For now.

On this day, the Pioneers who were here faced their own murderous intentions by confronting the incarnation of murderous intentions. And maybe we’ve got over it somehow…… but it was way more difficult than just defeating any strong enemy.

I was blown away by the reaction and crashed into the wall, and even though I tried to convince myself with a good story while slipping down, I was just eaten by an unexpected road grass, like a bowl full of weed salad special…… God fucking damn it, Pencilgton, you bitch! You are going to pay me for this!
