ShangriLa Frontier ~ Shitty Games Hunter Challenges Godly Game ~

「On the contrary, isn’t he someone who would get into a huge derelict spaceship and bring nothing more but a flashlight with himself?」

…… I can’t help it but to think that I am just getting insulted by this strange joint consideration on everyone’s part. Would you be so kind as to get off of my back for a moment and just leave me alone?

「When you fall down to a certain extent, you are going to be beaten to death by something. And the fact that you can’t see that something makes it even worse here…… But at the very least we can exclude the planar pressure as the culprit.」

「Huh? Why? How can you possibly know that?」

「Those two guys jumped in at the same time, but the timing at which they were beaten to death was off. So rather than being killed at the same time, it would stand to reason that they were picked off individually, don’t you think?」

My guess is that there might be a giant monster in there somewhere, maybe an octopus or a squid…… Oh well, I mean, this is supposed to be a trial, so it’s not a surprise that just trying to fall down to the very bottom is not going to work. If you wanted to die anyway, you wouldn’t need safety to live, so for the time being, let’s remove the head equipment and so on and put it on the ground……

「……What?」

「Head! You have a normal head!?」

「Okay, listen here Mister Explosive Grean Peas! I don’t know what you guys think about me and what you guys think I really am, but shouldn’t it be obvious that under all that equipment and weapons lies a normal human being, just like everyone else!? I know that I can’t wear some pieces of the equipment without running the risk of having it destroyed completely, but it doesn’t mean that I cannot remove them as I see fit! Do you understand!? Or are you perhaps too mentally challenged to comprehend that, huh!? Mister Exploding Green Peas!?」

「Please stop calling me that!」

You see, I’m a normal human being, removing my mask or helmet won’t cause me to die instantly or anything like that……! But for this thing, I might actually want to remove my head equipment, just so that my field of vision would widen considerably. Yeah, if I am going to do this seriously, I need a setup that is easy to move with…… Then let’s just activate some skills that will increase my overall mobility, and add some “Overflow” state into the mix, but that’s about it. If I were to up my speed any more, I would no longer be able to properly control it. And not being able to control the speed at which you are going is more or less equal to a shortcut to becoming a wet stain on the wall. But even with only the proper skills and speed, there is still a chance that I might die in some horribly gruesome way.

「Alright then, I’m going to go die, be back in a minute!」

「Man, just listen to the way in which he said that…… So casual about it……」

「But isn’t that like the essence of Tsuchinoko’s being? That is comes to life completely out of the blue and then dies off right after that? Don’t you find that surprisingly fitting?」

Yeah, and here’s another thing that I don’t really like…… But oh well, need to focus now! Keep your mind calm, just go for a dive, as if you were trying to do a bungee jump, but without the line attached!

I jumped from the edge of the hole, and my body, which gained a considerable jumping distance with the power of Over-Transmission, flew to the inside of the hole…… and started falling from there straight down.

「Ahh, now I see. Now I get it.」

When it comes to the Player’s field of vision, even when you are completely surrounded by darkness you should be able to secure at least some small circle of vision. But the fact that there is no such thing in here right now means that the game side has decided that “this darkness should be this way, and there is nothing you can do about it”. Technically, the Tactical Warbeasts’ helmet should have night vison, but I don’t want to risk breaking it, otherwise Rust would be on my ass wanting revenge. And she would not stop on hunting me until the day that Nephilim Hollow would come out. And just one or two deaths would not really cut it here……

Crushing and burning the corpse that was killed, mixing the ashes with the livestock feed and slaughtering…… It’s not good to despise an acquaintance, even if it’s in your brain, and you end up hating yourself because it ends up like myself from the Spell Creation Online era. At that time, well, yeah, I don’t really want to remember any of that, or anything that would remind me of that pervert Deepslaughter for that part……

「Muh!」

Just like that time when I went to Edward’s lab, when I tried to brake on the wall with my skills…… And then I saw it……

No, it’s not exactly the same, because right now the enemy’s attack can come at you from virtually any particular place…… And when the “attack target” appears, the True World Observation displays the ideal route to at the edge of my field of vision, telling me how to react. And at that moment I understand.

Ahh, I see, the five victims earlier fell down from coordinates not far from the edge of the hole, so they would reach the side of the wall way before they would be able to reach the bottom of the hole. Rather than being launched from below, they went up to something that came out from the side…… or at least that’s my take.

「So, there’s something inside of the wall, huh……!?」

Man, I really can’t see shit in here. However, it is not so big judging by the indication from the True World Observation. Originally I imagined it would be a giant octopus-like monster, kind of like Kutanid of the Abyss that would blow the players off to kingdom come, but now I was no longer so sure about that.

「So, how about this!?」

I use the magic scroll, a disposable magic medium containing the magic of “Magic Torch”, and illuminate the area with light using magical lighting. What was on the wall over there……? Huh?

「Humans?」

I was soaked in some kind of liquid and had a unique physique for sure ….. but without a shred of a doubt it was a human being. And the moment I realized that, I also realized that calling this thing “human” could not possibly be further from the truth here.

And when I was thinking about those things and their nature, one of them……

「Ogubeh!!!!???」

No way, what was even that blow just now…… It’s as if it has come from the bottom and traveled towards the top……
