When I found Ismena and Cecilia were here as my own personal maids I got really happy though, and wished the rest could be as easy to locate, but that was unfortunately not the case.

My greatest fear is that some of them might not even be in Japan, damn it… I really miss them and want them all back, and Iʼll definitely find them. The threads that connect our souls are indestructible after all.

If I concentrate enough I think I can pinpoint their exact coordinates, those at Mount Takao are at Mount Takao, but the other five of them?

Hmm, well, not right now, Iʼm in the middle of this meeting.

”Master, are you sure this is the right choice? The young lady… Well, sheʼs indeed brilliant, but giving her the responsibility of taking over Mount Takao and even… befriend Onis… doesnʼt that sound rather… I mean, too much for her?” Doctor Frankenstein asked, he really disliked the idea of me getting this job.

”And what if the Clans appear over there?” Medea asked. ”We arenʼt sure that Amaterasuʼs Clan wonʼt interfere… The Vampires or the Werewolves could also appear, making things worse for everyone in the long run.”

”Please think this through, we could find another way, Master,” Wasp said. ”I consider the young lady as someone with amazing talent and potential, she needs to train first. I know she is your daughter and has developed many incredible abilities, but a proper mentor is required before she takes any serious jobs.”

They all had great arguments honestly, I canʼt go against them, the only reason I was allowed to go was because dad really loves to spoil me, and I am his weakness.

”Hmmm… You make a lot of sense,” father said. ”However, I cannot simply change my mind after Iʼve said that, right? Wouldnʼt that break my daughterʼs heart? And I donʼt want her to be angry at me either.”

”But master…” Doctor Frankenstein sighed. ”At the very least let us bring some of our agents. The Homunculus Squad would be useful and help her get the job done quickly. Sure theyʼll try to see if she can befriend the Onis, but if not, they can quickly dispatch them… And then I can have their bodies for new creations.”

”I could send some of my sorcerers as well,” Medea said. ”I donʼt distrust the young ladyʼs kind heart, and her talents are great as well! I simply am worried about her safety.”

”…I could go myself, but if thatʼs too much, I can send someone from my Clan,” Wasp said, crossing his arms with a serious expression on his pale face.

Wait a second, every single one of them has some sort of clan or group of people that work for them and obey them? So the Chaos Gate has clans within it? Thatʼs pretty interesting, all things considered.

”Actually, I have my own team of friends I want to bring, you could say theyʼre part of my um, ”clan”?” I wondered.

”Oh? Could it be your friends from high school?” My father wondered. ”Iʼve noticed they possess great talent, are they part of the Underworld, dear?”

”Yes! Brontes, Nesiphae, Rimuru, Zehe, and Lilith,” I said. ”Iʼve also got my maids Ismena and Acelina, theyʼre both really strong, I trust them a lot… Oh, and also I got little Wall and Yggdrantia, my familiars!”

”Hmmm…” My parent nodded. ”I would like to first have a meeting with those girls. What do they do in the Underworld? If theyʼre mercenaries, we can get to create a contract for them to participate ”formally”, if not, are they from a clan?”

”They have… normal families,” I said. ”I really care a lot about them dad, theyʼre my best… my best friends, I love them… so please donʼt do anything to them, ok?”

”E-Eh?! You think your father is a monster or something? Of course I wouldnʼt do anything to my daughterʼs dear friends! Nor their families… even though it would be easy to manipulate them into joining…” He said while rubbing his chin.

”Theyʼve been looking to join some clan or something of the caliber, canʼt we recruit them under my wing?” I asked. ”I can oversee their growth and contribution, and event heir payment.”

”…” My father remained in silence; the other members of the gathering were left speechless for what I was suggesting.

”Young lady, are you suggesting recruiting these people out of nowhere? But weʼve not met them yet either!” Medea said. ”What if theyʼre dangerous?”

”We always interrogate them first before they join,” Wasp said. ”And then thereʼs a period of a couple of months where we constantly learn about them, inspect their abilities, and more… Not doing any of that would be a serious violation to our own rules…”

”Well, Wasp, my daughter is my daughter, she naturally is above the old rules, and you must always give her exceptions and privileges, alright?” My father said shamelessly. ”Whoever dares to go against her will have to deal with me, and remember well that, although rules exist, the same rule always applies, the strong rules. And right now I am still stronger than all of you. I would say my daughter is only second to mine, she could beat all of you, I am sure.”

”Beat us?!” Doctor Frankenstein asked. ”Master… I donʼt think sheʼs ready to even face one of us, hah… S-Sorry! I didnʼt mean to sound rude.”

”I donʼt want to offend the young lady, but she leagues away from reaching our level, weʼve polished our strength for generations,” Wasp said. ”I am the strongest of my clan as well as a mercenary that has worked for hundreds of years.”

”Young lady healed me, and I think she even ate the divinity infecting my soul wound… Without a doubt, sheʼs incredibly powerful,” Medea smiled. ”However, I agree with them regarding what they said… The young lady is simply not fit yet, sheʼs growing up and still in high school.”
