Epic Of Caterpillar

Chapter 2614 - 2615: Dead Weapon

-----

Rubyʼs eyes widened for a moment as she saw the darkness, panicking.

She opened her big jaws, about to release a bright beam to dissipate the evil darkness!

”W-Wait, Ruby, hold on!”

Frank managed to stop her before she were to blast a hole through the damn wall.

”Iʼm fine, really… I think my Mana and Magic Power increased a little, and that darkness was actually some kind of protective aura.”

”Raarrr?”

[You have equipped the [Black Miasma Ring (??? Grade)]!]

[Your Maximum Mana Capacity has increased by 10%.]

[Your Magic Power has increased by 10%.]

[You have gained a {Miasma Protection Aura}, decreasing Darkness, Poison, and Miasma Type Damage by 30%.]

”Oh! Itʼs an amazing ring… Though, why does everything I get has question mark grades now?” Frank wondered. ”Well, based in the bonuses and the effects, this could be from B Grade to A Grade, definitely.”

As he looked at his own Inventory, Frank noticed an area where it showed his equipped items and then found the option he was looking for.

”Oh yeah, itʼs here… This is how I can keep weird equipment invisible.”

He clicked the button, making the ring invisible to the naked eye, giving him the ability to be undetected by most people even while wearing expensive pieces of equipment.

He did this because his parents might wonder where the heck he got such an expensive looking ring out of nowhere, or perhaps an enemy could aim to steal it from him.

”Alright, weʼre done! Letʼs see my Status before changing Classes.”

Frank smiled as he looked at his progress so far.

The battle that happened three days ago allowed him to reach Max Level instantly.

It seems that, aside from those monsters that had a lot of EXP, fighting against Medea gave him a lot of EXP too.

Even though he didnʼt kill her, he did kill many of her Spectral Familiars, which were copying her appearance and which the witch was using as avatars.

She was a coward that, naturally, didnʼt show herself to her enemies, and simply employed her magic and familiars to fight against her foes, while staying safe wherever she lived.

Well, this is how most magicians, witches, warlocks, and sorcerers fought, they were naturally reclusive, and going in person to deal with problems wasnʼt their forte.

Frank looked at his Status attentively, there was even a section that kept his Spells saved, and in there, he could see the Traced Weapons he had within his ”Soul Armory” as he called this area inside his mind where he could see all the weapons he has ever traced.

Even though she was registered there, however, White felt slightly weaker, she was glitching in a way, perhaps her death ended damaging the copy Frank created through tracing, as he tried summoning her, but was unable to do so every time.

”Dammit, so I canʼt bring her back? She really died?”

Frank felt bad, conflicted. His meeting with White was brief, but he saw how much she did for them and even seemed to know something about his past.

”If Elfina could summon her again, perhaps we could talk with her…? Or maybe I can trace her. I wonder if the traced version is just the same person or… a copy?”
