”Aah! Itʼs the young lady! Would you look how much youʼve grown- Ouch, ouch…”

Suddenly, a beautiful sorceress ran to my side, with long purple hair, pointy ears and crimson eyes, wearing long black and purple magician robes, and with a purple tattoo resembling an eye in her forehead.

She patted my head and greeted me.

”Ah, greetings…”

”You donʼt remember me dear? We used to play a lot when you were a baby… I used to be your nanny!”

”Nanny? Wait… youʼre…?!”

I finally remembered!

It was her, that nanny with magic powers that did crazy stuff to entertain me.

And she also always prepared a really delicious Greek yogurt.

”Auntie Medea!”

”Yep, thatʼs me- Ouch, ouch…”

As she tried to hug me, she couldnʼt, groaning in pain.

”Medea, please sit down, youʼre still wounded!” Someone complained.

”B-But the young lady… I wanted to greet her properly!” Medea said.

”Itʼs alright, were you wounded in your soul? Iʼll patch you up,” I patted her back, as I infused Soul Essence into her soul, there was a huge wound, divine power making it hard to heal.

But…

Devour.

CRUNCH!

I devoured the divinity there, and…

FLASH!

”Oooh?!”

She gasped, her soul completely back to full health.

”Young lady! That was incredible! Y-You can heal souls?!”

”Yeah, itʼs not that hard.”

However, this apparently caused a big commotion around here, the people looking at one another, talking with surprise and awe.

Even my dad couldnʼt believe it.

”K-Kireina… did you just ate that divinity infecting her wound and fully healed Medeaʼs soul?! Thatʼs impressive!”

”Is that so? Father canʼt do that?”

”I… cannot heal, no. I see… youʼre truly special.”

”Indeed! I owe you my life, young lady, thank you so much!”

Medea lowered her head constantly, as I patted her shoulders.

”Itʼs alright, letʼs go sit down for now.”

”Y-Yes!”

…Also, the small Divine Power I ate was pretty potent, I immediately felt enlightened in the Dao of the Blade and the Sword.

Was it from a sword-wielding god? Just what the hell happened to her? Was she in a battle between the Gods of Japan?

This world is definitely stronger than the original Earth where Frank came from, which Iʼm fairly sure is no longer there, at some point he assimilated it into his Internal Galaxy or something.

But because it has been fueled by his cosmic powers as a half-overseer and everything, even the Gods recreated in this new parallel world are bound to be super strong, cosmic level.

I donʼt know how strong, I have yet to battle one, but it worries me that Medea would be so reckless and fight one of them out of nowhere.

By analyzing what I ate deeper, I can find out where it came from… Hmm, but I better concentrate in the meeting right now and leave that running in the background instead.

”Very well now, as many of you can see, Iʼve decided to bring my daughter to the meeting, this is her first time officially participating,” my father said. ”I want all of you to stop treating her like a child, my daughter from now on is part of the business and the second leader after me. She may be inexperienced, but as you already saw, she is strong, very strong. As my daughter, that only comes naturally. Weʼll lead the organization together, although sheʼll be second to me in command, and Iʼll teach her the ropes. I hope everyone cooperates with us.”

As he spoke, the other members of the organization nodded, some greeted me with happy smiles, others looked at me in silence, and others in indifference… I noticed some jealous glares as well.

”We are happy to have the young lady here.”

”Indeed! Welcome to the Chaos Gate, ojou-sama!”

”It seems that youʼre also walking your fatherʼs footsteps… I hope you do not regret this one-day, young lady.”

”We hoped you would have a different life… but if this is the path you chose, then thereʼs nothing we can do other than welcome you with open arms.”

”…”

I noticed I particularly annoyed glare from someone, although he was very good at concealing his presence, a white haired, red-eyed man with his hands covered by insect-like exoskeleton, covering the rest of his body with black robes.

Ah, yes, I know who he is.

”Wasp, you havenʼt greeted me, does my presence here displeases you?” I asked.

”…!” His eyes widened, as he realized I had noticed his insolence.

”Wasp? What is the meaning of this? Why are you not formally greeting my daughter?” My father asked, his voice reverberating.

Yes, I am a spoiled young lady, and I will make sure to abuse my power against bastards that donʼt know their place.

Especially this monster, who slaughtered Frankʼs family in the original Earth. I cannot believe even he was recreated in this parallel world.

And now heʼs once more alive, a living walking trauma for him… Iʼll make sure such tragedy never repeats.

But for now, Iʼll just act friendly.

”Of course not, master… I was simply in awe of her presence here… Like others said, I didnʼt expect her to come here. I hoped the young lady would have… a different life than us. My apologies, ojou-sama. And youʼre welcome into the Chaos Gate.”

”Hmm, thank you Wasp! Weʼve only known each other for little, but I hope we can get along?”

The other members glared at Wasp with different expressions, some looked angry at his insolence, while some seemed to envy him because I addressed him personally while I ignored mostly everyone else.

”O-Of course… Yes, if that is what you desire, young lady.”

Good dog, he better learns his place here, below me.

And Iʼll make sure to make him hate me to death, to the point he would go against my own father to kill me.

Once that happens, my own fatherʼs disbelief will be the trigger for his prompt death.

Why wonʼt I kill him right now? Well, thatʼs obvious, it would create a lot of distrust from the other members.

I have to play my cards well here, I cannot act recklessly, this is a family business after all, everyone her expects me to treat them fairly.

Though, if the opportunity arises, I will not waste it.
