A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 1526: Chapter 1516: Accusation

Early in the morning, the news of Mu Yan and Lin Jiamu ”dating” last night was exposed by the media.

After several months, the two meet again, suspected to be rekindling their relationship.

Past images of the two together have been dug up again, including Lin Jiamu’s secret crush on Mu Yan.

With Mu Yan now in the midst of a divorce with Jiang Jingheng and having an ambiguous connection with a mixed-race blond handsome guy, netizens are speculating that Lin Jiamu might be one of the options.

”I instinctively feel Mu Yan is about to release a new show, there’s just too much hype recently, all gossip news. Really, how is she different from other female celebrities who seek attention to climb the ranks?”

”She hasn’t even divorced yet, and Jiang Jingheng is already getting cuckolded one after another, I feel sorry for him.”

”From Jiang Jingheng, Ning Shishen, to Lin Jiamu, then to the blond handsome guy, Mu Yan is simply a heartthrob machine. But even Jiang Jingheng can’t handle her, so these people can’t either.”

”There are hardly any decent women in the entertainment industry; when they debuted, they had a pure image, but it turns out they were already married. When asked about their ideal partner, they praised the man as a peerless gentleman, only to find out later that she was the one at fault.”

...

Continuous negative news has made Mu Yan the target of public criticism, with past praises turning into harsh words.

In the morning, Lin Jiamu posted a Weibo clarification.

Lin Jiamu v: I was the one who sought out Mu Yan yesterday, she had reasons she couldn’t avoid seeing me, the details will be revealed when my new album is released. Also, I’ve already stated before, Mu Yan and I have always been friends, I nearly ruined her life once, and I feel guilty towards her, which is something that will accompany me for life. I implore the media and netizens to be kind and stop fabricating rumors out of thin air. I don’t want her to feel disgusted at the mention of my name one day.

Ever since he announced his withdrawal from Weibo a few months ago, his Weibo has been like a neglected field, only recently starting to reshare some news because of the upcoming new album release.

However, this also attracted quite a bit of sarcastic ridicule.

”Looking forward to Mu Mu’s new album.”

”Close friends can argue, so why can’t they reconcile? Nowadays, these media just enjoy digging for rumors, seeking attention for heat.”

”I feel like Lin Jiamu’s team is hyping his new album. Once, someone said he’d leave the entertainment industry, but shortly returned. I could only chuckle, after stepping out, did he realize the money is easier in the entertainment world?”

”Saying guilty conscience, but still releasing the album? That talk is only for fools, anyway, I think Mu Yan certainly doesn’t fancy you, you won’t last long as a backup.”

...

After seeing Lin Jiamu’s Weibo, Mu Yan also posted shortly thereafter.

Mu Yan v: The new album sounds great, thank you.

Despite the uproar online, no one expected Mu Yan to respond.

After all, she lets rumors about her divorce go unchecked, let alone such ordinary gossip.

But she did respond, acknowledging the meeting with Lin Jiamu and that the discussion was related to the new album, though her brief text hinted that their relationship wasn’t as good as before.

So, what secret is hidden in Lin Jiamu’s new album that compelled Mu Yan to meet with this ”enemy”?

Of course, as fans saw Mu Yan posting on Weibo, many started asking about her relationship with Jiang Jingheng, questioning if they’d divorce.

Sadly, Mu Yan won’t reply to them.

In the villa, Mu Yan is receiving a guest.

”Nuannuan, I heard you sued Aunt, what’s going on?” Jiang Wenhui looked at her anxiously.
