A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 1511: Chapter 1501: Old Bastard

Zhuang Jiaoyang was furious and cursed, ”You old fool, you’re kicking me out, huh? Sooner or later, you’ll regret it.”

Everyone was stunned by her words and looked at her in disbelief. Has she gone mad?

The old man’s face was livid, his eyes like gathering ice.

Suddenly a figure stepped forward and slapped her across the face with a ”slap”.

”How dare you hit me!” Zhuang Jiaoyang shouted angrily, trying to hit back.

”Slap” — another slap landed.

”Zhuang Jiaoyang, enough is enough! No one here owes you anything, especially Mom and Dad, who brought you into this world and provided you a life of luxury. Everything that’s happened today is your own doing, you can’t blame others.”

Zhuang Jiaoyang, embarrassed and angry, lunged at Kong Lizhen, ”Bitch, bitch, it’s all because of you, all because of you!”

Seeing her like this, the Zhuang Family was utterly disappointed in her, hoping that out of sight meant out of mind.

Kong Lizhen was not one to back down, she angrily slapped her a few more times, shocking her into silence.

She shook her hand and coldly said, ”I am not Mom and Dad. They pity you and can’t bear to lay a hand on you. If you dare act recklessly again, just try me.”

Zhuang Jiaoyang was no match for Kong Lizhen, her face swollen from the slaps. She warily eyed her and stepped back a few steps, putting some distance between them.

Glaring at her with resentment, she noticed Kong Lizhen flexing her wrist, ready to strike again, and immediately became fearful.

At that moment, the security guards arrived and dragged her out.

She struggled and screamed, but no one paid her any attention.

Once she left, the living room became quiet again.

Kong Lizhen turned to the old man and old lady, saying, ”Dad, Mom, I’m sorry, just now I...”

”You did nothing wrong!” the old man interrupted her, ”I’m tired; I’ll go rest now.”

With that, he got up and headed towards the stairs.

No one stopped him. Regardless of how stern the old man was, being cursed by his own child was unbearable for anyone.

”What a misfortune.” The old lady suddenly sighed, her expression full of sorrow.

”Mom, please don’t get upset. You’ve just started looking better; you mustn’t wear yourself out,” Ruan Xinyu advised.

The old lady shook her head without saying a word.

Before long, Ruan Xinyu escorted the old lady back to her room to rest.

After finishing her food, Mu Yan also went back to her room with Kong Lizhen.

She looked worriedly at her mother and asked, ”Mom, do you think Grandpa and Grandma will hold this against you? After all, she is of the Zhuang bloodline.”

As an observer, she knew that her mom and aunt had just collaborated to expose Zhuang Jiaoyang’s true nature.

But she could tell, and naturally Grandpa and Grandma could see it too.

”Not necessarily. Your grandparents aren’t foolish,” Kong Lizhen said calmly. ”They know very well what kind of person Zhuang Jiaoyang is, but because she is their child, they always hold a bit of hope.”

Mu Yan nodded, acknowledging that everyone has a softer side.

She asked, ”What if Grandpa and Grandma had sided with Zhuang Jiaoyang today?”

Kong Lizhen’s eyes flashed with cold light, ”Then I would let her be humiliated, and I would make her life a living hell.”

As if realizing something, she quickly said, ”Pah pah pah, let’s not talk about death; don’t scare my grandchild.”

Her gaze fell on Mu Yan’s belly, and unconsciously, her face softened with a loving smile.

Mu Yan smiled slightly, looking at her belly, a sense of happiness arose in her heart, but...

She paused for a moment and said, ”Mom, I plan to return to Upper City tomorrow.”
