A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 1501: Chapter 1491: I’ve Lost My Memory!

Given a chance to defend himself, Zhuang Shaoyang couldn’t be happier and agreed willingly.

The two of them went to the rooftop together.

On the rooftop, there were quite a few plants and flowers, with rattan chairs and a small table. It was particularly comfortable to lie there all day in this season.

Kong Lizhen walked to the railing, turned back to look at Zhuang Shaoyang, ”What do you want to say to me?”

Looking at that cold face, Zhuang Shaoyang remembered the scene when they divorced, it was the same; all the previous tenderness was replaced by ruthlessness.

Not only her, but he also changed.

Her focus was no longer on him, and he had no confidence in assuring the steadfastness of this love.

”Ah Ning, I was wrong in the past, I regret it deeply, these years, not a day goes by that I haven’t thought of you. Liang Rong and I never had that kind of relationship, the only person I love is you.”

Kong Lizhen looked at him, her eyes clear, without a ripple, such a gaze left people uneasy.

After a moment of silence, she said lightly, ”Really?”

Her reaction was too calm, Zhuang Shaoyang was a bit panicked, and continued, ”At the time, I misunderstood you, it was my fault, my brain was addled, my eyes were blind, let me use the rest of my life to make it up to you and our daughter, give me this chance, okay?”

”It’s been so long, I no longer mind.” Kong Lizhen said indifferently, ”You don’t need to dwell on it.”

”No, Ah Ning, this is the biggest mistake of my life, I can’t pretend I don’t know, I can’t watch you leave me again, I can’t live without you.” Zhuang Shaoyang suddenly grabbed her hand, full of deep emotion.

Kong Lizhen looked down at their clasped hands and suddenly smiled, ”To you, it might just be a mistake from nineteen years ago, you still have several more nineteen years to make up for it, but to some people, those nineteen years were a lifetime, and the me of now has been reborn, let go of the past.”

”No, it can’t be, Ah Ning, you love me, I don’t believe you could forget the feelings between us, we grew up together, were in love for ten years, no one can deny this relationship.”

”It can’t be denied, but it can be erased.”

”No, I don’t believe it.” Zhuang Shaoyang said loudly.

Kong Lizhen raised her eyes to look at him, smiling at the corners of her lips, ”I forgot to tell you one thing.”

Zhuang Shaoyang had a bad premonition in his heart, staring at her, ”Ah Ning, don’t tell me you’ve already married?”

Kong Lizhen withdrew her hand from his and said calmly, ”I lost my memory, I don’t remember the past, I don’t remember you, nor your so-called love.”

”No, that’s impossible!” Zhuang Shaoyang refuted, but looking at her cold, distant expression, he also began to doubt.

No wonder, no wonder she could face him so calmly, it’s not that she didn’t hate, she simply didn’t remember.

”How could this be, how could this be?”

”You should thank that Miss Liang whom you cherished.” Kong Lizhen suddenly smiled, ”Six years ago, she orchestrated that fire that left me disfigured and amnesiac, creating the Kong Lizhen of today. But it’s also quite good, clearing away those bad memories allows for a new life, I also hope you, Mr. Zhuang, can soon find your new life.”

Without waiting for him to speak, she directly walked past him and left.

Zhuang Shaoyang didn’t stop her from leaving, he stared straight ahead, the sun’s rays reddening his eyes.

Liang Rong, it’s Liang Rong again!

What kind of sin did he commit to incur such a malicious woman!

At the staircase entrance, Kong Lizhen suddenly turned back to look at Zhuang Shaoyang, he maintained that posture, anyone could sense that he was on the edge of rage.

Her lips quirked, why should she swallow her anger and humiliation?

Liang Rong is beyond redemption, but is he innocent?
