Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2638: Chapter 2638: Ji’er Must Survive

”Consort Wen, what should we do, what should we do? Those traitors are so arrogant, if we don’t execute their families...”

The Fifteenth Prince’s words were interrupted when Dowager Consort Yu quickly covered his mouth.

”Ji’er, from now on, you must speak less and refrain from saying such arrogant and disrespectful remarks, do you understand?” She knelt down and looked earnestly at her son, warning him.

Executing the families of Prince Zhan and others, it’s fortunate that Prince Zhan hasn’t executed her family yet. One is the master of Huayan Peak and the other is the master of Wulong Mountain. Neither is someone she and her son can afford to offend.

She deeply regrets now; had she known, she would have merely flattered the Retired Emperor instead of genuinely helping him.

Now, in Ying City, she could have had whatever she wanted, snatch a few men to serve her without any major ramifications. If she hadn’t taken so many, perhaps Prince Zhan and Prince An Yang wouldn’t have been drawn in?

”How was I arrogant and disrespectful? Obviously, it’s those treacherous fiends who defied this Prince’s words, that’s why I want to execute their families.”

”Consort Wen, didn’t you tell me those commoners are all lowly slaves, their deaths mean nothing? Keep the good-looking ones close, and the disobedient ones, each and every one of them should die.”

The Fifteenth Prince pried Dowager Consort Yu’s hand from his mouth and started shouting again.

He hasn’t done wrong; it’s those lowly commoners who want to harm him. So what if he kills them?

”Stop, stop.”

Hearing her son’s words, Dowager Consort Yu regretted once more.

How could she have raised such a son? Such arrogant words might be tolerable at home, but they should never be spoken outside.

Moreover... now in Ying City, Prince Zhan and Prince An Yang have appeared!

”Ji’er, you are not to say these things anymore, understand? Or else, even I cannot save you!” She warned sternly.

Though she has two other sons, those two sons are just for her amusement during leisure; they can be pampered, but when it comes to the crucial moment, they can even be sacrificed for her.

But this son before her is different; without him, she as Imperial Concubine would be nothing, so Ji’er must live, he cannot die.

”You don’t know how terrifying those two people are; your father was thwarted by them, otherwise, you would have already become Crown Prince.”

Indeed, wasn’t the Retired Emperor thwarted by Qian Jiyun and An Jiuyue back then? The Emperor secured his position in the Daqing Kingdom with the military power and tactics of those two.

She hadn’t figured it out at the time; upon hearing the Retired Emperor’s promise of the Crown Prince title for Ji’er, she eagerly agreed to come to Ying City, scheming everything for the benefit of the Retired Emperor.

Everything was for Ji’er’s Crown Prince position.

But all of this requires life to enjoy; without life, what use is a Crown Prince title?

”Consort Wen, what are you saying? I don’t understand.”

Clearly, the Fifteenth Prince has been misguided by Dowager Consort Yu and doesn’t understand the matter at all.

He only knows that in Ying City, even the Prefect has to listen to him; if not, he can directly remove the Prefect from his position. Previously, he has threatened the Prefect many times using this excuse, and each time, the Prefect compromised with him.
