Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2611: Chapter 2611: All Children Are Raised Free-Range

Everyone in the royal court wants a share of the Northern Lands’ resources; even if he’s foolish, he knows what these people intend to do.

The people of the Northern Lands have suffered enough. If he really sends those people, how much of the grain and silver will actually reach the hands of the people?

”I’m hungry myself, Eunuch Fu, set a place for me.” He put down the paper, stood up, walked to An Jiuyue’s side, and instructed Eunuch Fu.

”Yes, Your Majesty, this servant will prepare it right away.”

Eunuch Fu received the order and quickly went out; he had already prepared the tableware earlier, just waiting to bring them inside.

”An Jiuyue, thank you this time, my sister-in-law’s strategy for famine relief has been a great help to me.” The Emperor sat down beside An Jiuyue and thanked her.

According to this relief strategy, my sister-in-law has grain, which can prevent the people from going hungry. As for the labor needed for disaster relief, there are plenty of people who are hungry and can’t eat enough, and with grain in exchange for labor, there is no need for both grain and silver from his side.

Moreover, according to the previous communication with my sister-in-law, once the Retired Emperor’s matter is resolved, there will be rain across the entire Daqing Kingdom, which will also address the urgent needs of the Northern Lands.

It’s just...

He also followed Eunuch Fu’s example and let out a sigh.

In this way, he seems to owe more and more to his second brother and sister-in-law; he hasn’t been able to help much with the Northern Lands’ drought, and all these days of hard work seem to have become meaningless.

”Your Majesty, what are you sighing about now?” An Jiuyue put down the chopsticks in her hand and asked.

Since the Emperor wants to eat together, she naturally shouldn’t start eating first; after all, he is the Emperor, and it wouldn’t be right for him to eat her leftovers.

”It’s nothing.”

The Emperor shook his head; he can’t tell An Jiuyue that he’s of no use at all.

”Have all your elder brother’s matters outside been dealt with? Did he say where they plan to go afterward?” He changed the topic and asked her.

”Elder Brother said he wants to first return to Huayan Peak to bring back Zheng’er and Rong’er, and afterward, he might take the children around a bit.”

An Jiuyue thought for a moment and said.

After all, Nuonuo has been saying he wants to go play with his brothers in other planes, and both Elder Brother and Sister-in-law have agreed wholeheartedly; they can’t just go back on their word, can they?

”But before going to Huayan Peak, they will first come to the capital to get Lu’er as well.” She said.

”These parents.”

The Emperor thought of Qian Jiyun’s scattered children and shook his head.

The children are all raised freely yet each of them is well-nurtured, whether it’s the two at Huayan Peak or An Yilu, their cultivation level and knowledge are commendable.

”When they come back, I’ll also have a good conversation with your elder brother.”

”Once the Northern Lands’ matters are settled, Elder Brother and the others will come over.” An Jiuyue said.

The Emperor smiled, saying nothing more, and Eunuch Fu brought the tableware and respectfully placed it in front of the Emperor, then stood by to serve him.

”Eunuch Fu, didn’t I say, I can eat by myself, you may leave.” The Emperor raised his hand, rubbed his forehead, and spoke helplessly.

He’s really not accustomed to dishes not being served by himself; it makes eating less enjoyable.

But Eunuch Fu never listens, no matter how many times he’s told.

”Your Majesty, this servant...”

”You may leave, I wish to discuss important matters with the Princess of the Third Rank.” Not giving Eunuch Fu a chance to speak, the Emperor commanded him.
