Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 215: Chapter 214: High IQ, Low EQ

Sure enough, Mu Beiting remained silent from start to finish! This proves what he said just hit the boss’s sweet spot.

”Then...!” Ye Anxin hesitated, glancing at Pete, and then at Mu Beiting.

”Let’s go!” Mu Beiting grabbed her hand domineeringly and led her out of the room.

Pete picked up the suitcase and followed.

After going downstairs, the household servants quickly took the suitcase from Pete’s hand.

The butler, along with the servants, escorted them to the door, placed the suitcase in the car trunk, and only after they got in and the car drove off did they finally turn back into the villa.

In the car, Pete sat in the front passenger seat, while Mu Beiting and Ye Anxin sat in the back.

Ye Anxin sat beside Mu Beiting, affectionately wrapping her arm around his and resting her head on his arm, excitedly asking, ”Uncle, I heard Jiangcheng is surrounded by water, is that true?”

Mu Beiting nodded, ”Mm!”

Ye Anxin’s eyes lit up, ”Wow, so Jiangcheng is like a city on water?”

Mu Beiting looked down at her excited expression and said lightly, ”Sort of!”

”That must be very beautiful! Once we get there, I definitely want to look around! I’ve never left Jin City in my life, this counts as my first trip far away! Honestly, I’m so excited, so looking forward to it!” Ye Anxin squinted her eyes, her smile reaching her heart.

Mu Beiting couldn’t help but pat her head, ”Stay obediently in the hotel, and after I finish my work, I’ll take you out to play!”

Ye Anxin pouted, asking back, ”Does it have to be this way?”

”Yes!” Mu Beiting nodded firmly.

”But, I’ll be bored staying in the hotel alone! How about I explore nearby first, and then uncle can come find me once you’re done?” Ye Anxin said coyly.

Having lived for twenty years, this was her first time leaving Jin City, so naturally, she was very excited!

She was eager to go around and see what differences other cities had from Jin City.

Mu Beiting frowned and decisively refused, ”No way!”

”Uncle!” Ye Anxin tugged at Mu Beiting’s arm unwillingly.

Mu Beiting voiced his displeasure with a threat, ”If you don’t agree, I’ll have someone send you back right now!”

”Uh...! Alright!” Ye Anxin didn’t want to lose the rare opportunity to leave the city, so she reluctantly lowered her head and agreed.

Mu Beiting’s thin lips were pressed into a line as he extended his big hand to pull her head into his embrace.

Ye Anxin remained silent, unable to hide her disappointment in her eyes.

Pete secretly watched his boss and the lady through the rearview mirror, heard their conversation, and shook his head helplessly, sighing inwardly.

The boss really doesn’t understand women!

Women need to be coaxed, not threatened! Fortunately, the lady has a good temper; if it were someone else, they would have had a fight already!

Sigh...! Is this what’s called high IQ and low EQ?

This lack of emotional intelligence makes it hard to watch!

Ye Anxin leaned against Mu Beiting’s chest, her earlier excitement gone, she just sat quietly without saying a word.

The car drove all the way to the airport, and the driver carried the suitcase onto the plane for them, leaving only after the plane took off.

Ye Anxin sat on Mu Beiting’s private jet, her previous gloominess swept away, replaced by excitement once more.

”Uncle, did you know, this is my first time on a plane! Wow! The plane is so big, and the seats are genuine leather! So comfortable!” Ye Anxin excitedly touched this, looked at that, like an old farmer entering the city, finding everything fascinating.

Pete sat across the aisle from them and couldn’t help but smile as he explained, ”This is the president’s plane, so the facilities inside are definitely the best, the most advanced!”

Ye Anxin kept touching the genuine leather seat beneath her, exclaiming, ”Uncle, you’re so extravagant, spending so much money to buy a private jet!”

Mu Beiting frowned, pursing his lips without speaking.

Knowing his boss wasn’t happy, Pete felt a chill down his spine and quickly explained, ”The president isn’t being extravagant; he just doesn’t like too much noise and doesn’t like touching things others have touched! That’s why the private jet is the cleanest!”

”Oh, I understand, I understand!” Ye Anxin smiled and nodded.

She fully understood Pete’s point about cleanliness! She remembered that night after coming out of KTV, he used alcohol wipes to clean her hand for a long time!

If he didn’t have a serious cleanliness obsession, he wouldn’t have done that.

No matter how clean they are, planes used by others seem dirty in Uncle’s eyes.

So, it’s not surprising at all that Uncle bought a private jet!

Ye Anxin leaned against the plane window, looking at the clouds outside, asking without turning her head, ”Uncle, how long does it take to get from Jin City to Jiangcheng?”

Mu Beiting replied, ”Two hours!”

”Oh!” Ye Anxin nodded and stopped speaking, focusing on the scenery outside the window.

Mu Beiting didn’t disturb her, getting up to sit beside Pete, who quickly took out the documents for this business trip to Jiangcheng and discussed them with Mu Beiting in a low voice.

No one knew how much time passed when Ye Anxin suddenly exclaimed excitedly, ”Wow...! Wow! What a huge bridge, Uncle, come take a look, what a huge bridge!”

Mu Beiting looked up and responded lightly, ”That’s the Jiangcheng Bridge; it’s bigger and more magnificent than the Yangtze River Bridge.”

”No wonder!” Ye Anxin nodded with a sudden realization.

Since they had arrived in Jiangcheng, the plane was descending gradually, and the bridge was indeed so magnificent that, from high above, its scenery was entirely unobstructed, magnificent and grand.

Beautiful, truly beautiful! Aside from seeing it on TV, it was her first time seeing such a magnificent bridge with her own eyes.

Before leaving, she had to visit here!

As the plane descended little by little, the bridge’s scenery became clearer to her eyes, slowly disappearing from view.

Five minutes later, the plane slowly landed at Jiangcheng Airport.

Mu Beiting wrapped his arm around Ye Anxin as they walked directly through the VIP channel, with Pete following behind, pushing the luggage cart.

Once the three of them exited the airport, staff from the Mu Group’s branch had been waiting outside the airport, quickly helping Pete put the luggage in the trunk and opening the car door to usher them inside.

The driver, without waiting for Mu Beiting to ask, directly drove them to the best hotel in Jiangcheng, the Jiangcheng International Hotel, and then, with Pete, headed straight for the presidential suite on the top floor with the luggage.

Pete took Mu Beiting and Ye Anxin to the presidential suite, lifted his wrist to glance at his watch, ”President, the meeting is in two hours; with the flight just now, you must be tired, take a rest; I’ll come pick you up in half an hour!”

”Mm!” Mu Beiting nodded, letting Pete and the driver leave.

After entering the presidential suite, Ye Anxin immediately took off her shoes, changed into the new slippers that hadn’t been opened yet by the door, and ran to the window to look outside.
