Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 209: Chapter 208: Worse Than Death

When Ye Anxin’s body was immersed in the warm water, she immediately felt a stream of warmth infuse her, prompting her to close her eyes comfortably, with her earlier shyness vanishing.

Before long, as Ye Anxin was beginning to savor the endless stream of heat flowing into her body, she suddenly felt the bathtub filled with hot water ripple! Water spilled out of the tub and onto the floor.

In a hurry, Ye Anxin opened her eyes, only to see Mu Beiting sitting naked across from her in the large bathtub.

”Uncle, you...!” Ye Anxin’s mind panicked, and she instantly became tongue-tied.

”Bathing, I’m dirty too!” Mu Beiting said with genuine seriousness, as if it were justifiable! But Ye Anxin’s heart was stirred into an erratic beat by his teasing.

Ignoring her, Mu Beiting took a towel and carefully began to wash her body.

The rubbing amidst the warm water slowly revitalized her limp body! Although she couldn’t fully regain her usual state, she was almost there!

Mu Beiting’s movements were gentle and meticulous, as if Ye Anxin were his most precious porcelain doll, fragile enough to crack with a slight force.

Ye Anxin thought that like before, it would take two or three hours before they could leave the bath again.

But, she was wrong!

Mu Beiting washed her clean, then quickly washed himself! Afterward, he drained the bathtub, dried her off!

The entire process was skillful and efficient.

After drying her, he immediately dressed her in pajamas.

Throughout the whole process, Uncle’s little brother was impressively standing tall!

But he resisted not touching her!

Seeing Mu Beiting’s thing down there, Ye Anxin’s cooled-down face flushed again in an instant.

Mu Beiting was oblivious, acting as if he hadn’t noticed her embarrassment, he simply carried her, dressed in pajamas, out of the bathroom and laid her on the bed to rest.

Once she was settled, he started drying off the water on his body, then put on loungewear.

Once everything was in order, he picked Ye Anxin up from the bed again.

Ye Anxin’s face blushed like a cooked shrimp, her voice soft as a whisper, ”Uncle, I can walk myself, can you put me down?”

Mu Beiting didn’t respond and directly carried Ye Anxin downstairs, sitting down in front of the dining table, then placed her on his lap.

”Uncle...!” Seeing the room full of servants, Ye Anxin’s face reddened further, struggling to jump off Mu Beiting’s lap.

”Don’t move!” Mu Beiting slightly frowned, his strong arms encircling her slender waist, then picked up the food on the table, bringing a chopstick of food to Ye Anxin’s mouth.

Ye Anxin, her face red, opened her mouth to eat the food he brought to her lips.

Seeing this, Mu Beiting’s tightly knitted brows slightly relaxed. Then he picked up another chopstick of vegetables for her!

Ye Anxin knew Mu Beiting was domineering, saying more wouldn’t get him to let her down, so she resignedly ate everything he brought to her mouth.

Throughout the meal, Ye Anxin kept her head down, not daring to meet the intrigued glances of the servants around.

Finally, after finishing a bowl of rice, just when Ye Anxin thought she was finally free, Mu Beiting asked the servants to serve another bowl.

Ye Anxin didn’t dare make a sound and had to resign herself to eat another.

Seeing her finish the second bowl cleanly, Mu Beiting nodded in satisfaction.

Seeing he seemed in a good mood, Ye Anxin tentatively asked, ”Uncle, I finished eating, can you put me down now?”

Mu Beiting nodded, asked the servant to bring a stool nearby, then carefully placed Ye Anxin on it.

Once Ye Anxin was settled, he picked up his own bowl and chopsticks, eating the now slightly cold food.

”Uncle, want me to feed you?” Seeing Mu Beiting eat gracefully, Ye Anxin recalled last time they ate out, where he domineeringly asked her to feed him.

Today’s scene was like last time, just in a different place.

Mu Beiting said without looking up, ”No need, you just rest well!”

”Oh...!” Knowing Uncle was concerned for her, Ye Anxin responded, sitting quietly beside him watching him eat.

Mu Beiting seemed to have a good appetite, finishing two bowls in one go! After being full, he carried Ye Anxin upstairs.

Mu Beiting placed Ye Anxin on the double bed, then lay beside her, holding her tightly in his arms.

Ye Anxin, nestled in Mu Beiting’s embrace, playfully drew circles on his belly with her little hand, her eyes turned as she thought for a while and couldn’t help but ask, ”Uncle, what are you going to do with Xie Yunlu?”

Mu Beiting raised an eyebrow, ”What? Feeling soft-hearted?”

Ye Anxin hurriedly shook her head to deny, ”Not at all! The way she treated me, any consequence she faces is her own fault! It’s just, I didn’t expect things to escalate to this point between us! Actually, I’ve already backed off everywhere, not fighting or competing with her! It’s her own narrow-mindedness, always relentless! She’s brought this on herself!”

”Mm!” Mu Beiting answered casually and said no more.

Ye Anxin tentatively asked, ”Uncle, will you kill her?”

”It’s a society governed by law now, killing is illegal!”

Did it mean to let Xie Yunlu go?

Just as this thought crossed Ye Anxin’s mind, Mu Beiting spoke again, ”Death is liberation, a permanent end! Sometimes, living is more painful than dying!”

”???” Countless question marks flew through Ye Anxin’s mind, ”So, Uncle, are you planning to make her life a living hell?”

Mu Beiting didn’t answer, Ye Anxin just took his silence as confirmation.

Ye Anxin changed the topic, suddenly asking, ”Then what do you plan to do with the old man?”

Mu Beiting didn’t answer, pressing her head into his chest, dominantly commanding, ”Sleep!”

Ye Anxin moved her lips, wanting to say something else but ultimately didn’t speak! Finding the most comfortable position in Mu Beiting’s arms, she obediently closed her eyes, and soon a steady breathing sound followed.

Holding Ye Anxin tightly in his arms, countless glints flickered in Mu Beiting’s deep eyes, slowly merging into the darkness.

......

The next day, when Ye Anxin woke up, she found herself lying in a warm embrace.

It was only then she realized Mu Beiting hadn’t left as before, but held her tightly, warm breath gently touching her forehead, permeating through her skin directly into her heart.

Fearing to wake Mu Beiting, Ye Anxin didn’t want to move, but she couldn’t hold back the urge to go to the bathroom. After holding back for a while, she couldn’t stand it anymore. Her little hand found the large hand Mu Beiting wrapped around her waist, about to gently remove it, when she heard a deep voice above her head, ”Awake?”

Ye Anxin blushed, nodding embarrassedly.

Mu Beiting asked, ”Slept well? Want to sleep some more?”
