Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 204: Chapter 203: Fallen Into a Trap

Ye Anxin shook her head, ”No need, Mr. Xiang can take me.”

”Alright then! I’ll leave first!” Saying this, Yan Qinghan also got into his car and left.

”Let’s go!” Xiang Qingshi opened the car door, making an inviting gesture.

Ye Anxin smiled, about to bend down to get in, when her phone rang from her handbag.

Ye Anxin took out the phone, and upon seeing the message, her smile deepened, apologetically saying, ”Mr. Xiang, sorry, something came up suddenly, you head back first!”

Xiang Qingshi, feeling uneasy, said, ”I’ll go with you! After all, I’ve already handed over today’s company matters!”

Ye Anxin shook her head, ”No need! Uncle is here, I’ll go find Uncle! I’ll return with Uncle later! You should go back first!”

Xiang Qingshi frowned, ”Beiting?”

Ye Anxin nodded, ”Yes! Uncle just arrived at the banquet hall, didn’t see me, so he sent me a message! I’m going to find Uncle, meet up with him, and go back together later!”

Xiang Qingshi doubted, ”Just a text? At this time, shouldn’t he make a call?”

”...?” His words jolted her to reality, and Ye Anxin suddenly knitted her eyebrows in confusion.

Xiang Qingshi smiled and said, ”Make a call to confirm!”

”Alright!” Ye Anxin nodded, took out her phone, and dialed Mu Beiting’s number.

The call was answered after two rings, ”Hello, Uncle, where are you now?”

From the other side came Mu Beiting’s familiar voice, ”Wedding banquet hall! Didn’t you see the message I sent you?”

”Oh oh! Alright, I’m coming right away!” Ye Anxin nodded hurriedly and hung up the phone.

Ye Anxin put away her phone, smilingly said to Xiang Qingshi, ”Mr. Xiang, it was Uncle, he’s at the wedding banquet hall, I’ll go find him, you head back first! I’m really sorry!”

Since Ye Anxin made the call, Xiang Qingshi no longer doubted, nodded, and then got into his car and left.

After Xiang Qingshi left, Ye Anxin turned and walked towards the banquet hall.

However, when she arrived at the banquet hall, it was empty, all the guests had left, even the tables had been cleared by the staff! There was no trace of Mu Beiting.

Ye Anxin stood in the empty banquet hall and shouted loudly, ”Uncle!”

But the only response she got was an echo.

Feeling puzzled, Ye Anxin took out her phone and dialed Mu Beiting’s number again!

The call connected, but no one answered!

Gradually, a sense of unease surfaced in Ye Anxin’s heart!

Unable to hold back, Ye Anxin dialed Mu Beiting’s number again! The call connected, still no one answered.

”Uncle, Uncle, where are you?” The unease in her heart gradually grew!

After calling Mu Beiting ten times with no answer, Ye Anxin found Ling Yueyue’s number in her contact list and was about to call.

But before she could hit the call button, suddenly a pair of hands reached out from behind, holding a handkerchief! Caught off guard, the handkerchief was tightly pressed against Ye Anxin’s nose.

In no time, a strong fragrance filled her nostrils.

”Mmm...!” Ye Anxin’s eyes widened, her body struggling desperately in terror.

The more she struggled, the tighter the handkerchief pressed against her.

Ye Anxin’s bag fell to the ground, and her phone dropped with a clatter.

Ye Anxin suddenly felt difficulty breathing, her head dizzy, her eyelids heavy.

On the verge of fainting, Ye Anxin stretched out her hand, desperately trying to grasp the big hand holding her, trying to pull it away!

Unfortunately, after only a brief grasp, she couldn’t resist the drug’s effects, her eyes closed, and she fell into endless darkness.

The moment Ye Anxin’s body slumped to the ground, a pair of red high heels slowly walked to her side.

Ye Anxin blinked her dazed eyes, took one last look at those high heels, and then completely lost consciousness.

After Ye Anxin fainted, a woman’s voice slowly sounded, ”Well done, take her to room 1705 upstairs!”

Immediately afterward, the unconscious Ye Anxin was lifted from the ground, carried over a shoulder, and taken to room 1705 on the 17th floor.

A pair of slender hands opened the room door, and the voice from earlier resounded again, ”Throw her on the bed!”

At the order, Ye Anxin’s small body was thrown onto the double bed in the room.

Looking at Ye Anxin lying on the bed, unconscious, the woman with red lipstick’s lips curled up slightly, her seductive eyes full of pride.

......

Mu Building, CEO’s office.

Mu Beiting finished handling company matters, took out his phone, found Ye Anxin’s number, and dialed it.

However, the phone showed no response, stuck on the outgoing call screen.

Mu Beiting frowned tightly, ordered Pete, ”Go check the phone system for me!”

Pete obeyed, hurriedly taking Mu Beiting’s phone to find the company’s specialized department for inspection.

After Pete left, Mu Beiting picked up the landline on his desk, dialed a familiar number.

The call went through, but no one answered!

Mu Beiting sat in his office chair, his slender fingers rhythmically tapping the desk.

Soon, Pete returned, opened the door hurriedly, saying as he came in, ”CEO, just now the security department checked for you, after a series of investigations they found that your phone was hacked!”

Mu Beiting picked up the phone from the desk, unlocked it, carefully went through it, but found nothing unusual.

”Now, your phone is in a completely stalled state! Not only can’t you receive calls, but you also can’t make any! Technically, your phone has nothing on it, why would a hacker do this?” Pete frowned, utterly puzzled.

Regarding his own BOSS, he understands!

His own BOSS usually uses a computer for work, and the phone is entirely for calls, sending messages, instructing them about tasks, and contacting the CEO’s wife!

The BOSS’s phone has nothing on it! Why would a hacker hack it?

If those hackers intended to steal company secrets, why not hack the computer but hack the phone!

The phone has nothing, isn’t this a waste of effort?

Besides, the Mu Group’s system is rigorous, not something hackers can easily breach!

Now that BOSS’s phone was easily hacked, there’s certainly more to this than meets the eye!

Mu Beiting stared at the phone for a while, his eyes suddenly sharp, and his tall figure sprang up.

Pete exclaimed, ”CEO!”

”Follow me!” Mu Beiting tightly gripped the phone, took nothing else, and led Pete swiftly away.

Pete followed Mu Beiting and hurriedly left the Mu Group.

Having followed BOSS for so many years, this was his first time seeing the CEO so anxious!

What could have happened to make the CEO so rushed! He even sensed fear and tension in the CEO!

Could it be, something happened to the CEO’s wife!

Besides the CEO’s wife being capable of causing such concern to the CEO, he couldn’t think of anyone else.

Mu Beiting and Pete took the elevator straight to the underground parking.

The two got into a business car, Pete drove, Mu Beiting sat in the passenger seat, and they sped out of the parking lot.
