The Interstellar Queen of Scavengers

Chapter 1338: Chapter 1338: Making a Move

Hearing Gu Peiyuan’s words, the captain of the squad guarding the frontline post slightly flickered his eyes, already understanding the specific location of the food.

Sure enough, it was with Louise Carter.

The Commander was right, almost certainly, the food was taken away by Louise Carter’s orders.

The captain’s dark eyes darkened.

In such extreme conditions, without warm clothing and lacking food and water, it is a burden for everyone. Just talking about the few teammates at the outpost, they have all been without food for a long time, all starving. The longest one hasn’t eaten since three hours before the start of the match, which is nearly 23 hours now, and the shortest is about 20 hours...

Everyone needs to eat; if this drags on, we can only wait for death.

And while the Commander was away, Louise Carter took the opportunity to steal all the food supplies of the entire camp, which is equivalent to abandoning all the people who follow Commander Charles.

Although everyone belongs to the same camp, they represent their own schools, their school’s reputation, and their own reputation...

How many people grit their teeth and persist in training constantly, breaking through their own limits, while others rest night and day continually gritting their teeth ... all for this moment.

...

Scoundrel!

Louise Carter is truly despicable!

In just a few seconds, countless thoughts flashed through the outpost captain’s mind, all converging into a monstrous rage towards Louise Carter!

The captain suddenly clapped his hands and said, ”Since they are starting a fire to cook, there’s no reason for us to starve and freeze here, let’s go! Come with me and march over!”

Huh?

There’s hope!

Gu Peiyuan’s eyes suddenly lit up, and he also clapped his hands hard, saying, ”Captain, I wanted to say, we should go there and crash their meal.”

Scrub a meal?

The captain snorted coldly, ”I’m going to beat them up.”

Hearing this, Gu Peiyuan hesitated slightly and said, ”Captain, if we start a fight, how do we end it? After all, the Commander didn’t instruct us to brawl.”

The captain gave a sidelong glance at Gu Peiyuan, who was wrapped up tightly, and said, ”You and Kane will go ahead, scout out their situation, especially their food situation.”

Of course, he was just saying that he wanted to fight his way over it, but in his heart, he didn’t really intend to start a fight. At this time, reporting the information as soon as possible was more crucial.

Lou’s people having food and drink now means the food must be with him. Even if not all of it, Lou must have a batch of food.

This information is crucial and must be reported to Commander Charles immediately. Moreover, it’s of great importance, and to prevent leaks about our side’s food shortage, he plans to report it in person.

After instructing Gu Peiyuan, the captain said, ”Aside from Kane and Yang Can, everyone else stays at the frontline post. Stay vigilant.”

Kane?

Yang Can?

Gu Peiyuan’s heart stirred. This Yang Can clearly refers to himself, and Kane must be the student played by He Nu standing outside.

Gu Peiyuan maintained a solemn expression, as did the other students behind him, who all responded seriously, ”Yes.”

Then.

The captain swiftly left, braving the cold wind.

Looking at the other’s departing figure, Gu Peiyuan immediately said to the other students, ”I’ll go investigate, be right back.”

With that.

He left the tightly sealed room. Outside, he clapped a hand on He Nu’s shoulder, saying, ”Kane, let’s go.”

He Nu nodded, remaining silent.

The two emerged into the cold wind, taking a detour toward Lou’s outpost.

Then—

On Charles’ outpost side, originally thinking there wouldn’t be any situation, just as expected, a fierce spark erupted in the sky!

Bam!

Boom—

This is?

An emergency flare fired in haste!

Who?

What’s happening?

The few people stationed at Charles’ outpost were all restless; immediately, two people stood up and said, ”Let’s go check.”

Whoosh!

These two people sprang into action, rushing toward the scene. But before reaching it, they heard a piercing curse: ”Damn! You’re killing your own people!”

The speaker, sounding a bit like Yang Can but not entirely, was extremely shocked and angry, with a hoarse and gruff tone, finally, with a last gasp, he shouted toward the outside in furious cry—

”Louise Carter stole everyone’s food and wants to silence—” his mouth.

Crash—

The sound of a heavy object crashing to the ground!

Charles’ outpost’s two students rushed in anticipation, unexpectedly encountering such a situation!

One yelled, ”You guys—”

”Things just got big!”

”Silence them!”

”Quick!”

Inside, someone said, filled with murderous intent!

Sensing the danger, the two who rushed in to save Yang Can and Kane immediately turned back and fled—

But!

The pursuers were already upon them, with two agile figures leaping out and pinning them down, crack!

Their skills were remarkably strong, and they broke free in an instant.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

Black mist swirling, flashes of blades and swords, only visible in bursts of sparks from weapon clashes!

Crash—

One of them was struck in the heart by a longsword and collapsed directly.

The other, sensing trouble, quickly retreated.

After a few quick moves, he had already escaped quite a distance.

Then.

In the blink of an eye, he vanished out of sight.

Disguised as enemies, Gu Peiyuan and He Nu stood in the pitch-black night, Gu Peiyuan asked, ”How fast are you?”

He Nu gave a number.

Gu Peiyuan said, ”You’re slower than me, I’ll go handle Charles’ remaining forces first. You fill the gaps, make some noise to make others think we have a group chasing.”

He Nu: ”Hmm.”

Then.

Gu Peiyuan had already chased after him.

He Nu followed behind, holding a few rag dolls in his hand, these were makeshift warmers created by Lou’s people, stuffed with leaves and straw... looking at them like this in the dark, they appeared like several black figures...

The fleeing man, already wounded, glanced back and indeed saw them pursuing. He ran with all his might, hearing the noise, the remaining two from the outpost came out and met him, only able to exchange a few words of urgency, quickly instructing the wounded one to notify others.

Thus, he hurried off again.

Gu Peiyuan engaged head-on, dealing with two, not at all disadvantaged, instead holding the dominant position, but clearly couldn’t resolve it quickly.

These two, noticing only Gu Peiyuan alone, found it strange and then saw several figures approaching rapidly, bracing themselves for a tough battle.

Must resolve quickly!

Can’t be dragged out.

Just as Gu Peiyuan felt a bit anxious, He Nu arrived, and the two joined forces to swiftly end the fight—
