Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 479: Chapter 290: Envy Brother Chu Every Day

”How about Paris?”

”It’s the fashion capital. We can do some research.”

Lin Chu thought for a moment before replying.

In the luxury goods industry, Paris was an unavoidable city. The LV Group’s headquarters was there, and it was the birthplace of numerous luxury brands.

Although it seemed to have gone downhill in recent years, it was still an old-guard city, so it was worth a visit.

Of course, they would have to take security precautions.

That wasn’t a problem, either. He could just have Gao Haitao arrange for a few bodyguards.

”Okay! You set the time. I’m free whenever. Business at the store has been streamlined, and I even managed to poach a manager-in-training. He used to be a store manager for Chanel!” Yang Huixian replied, her message radiating pride.

She had used plenty of ”underhanded” tactics, aggressively poaching staff from other luxury brands—marketing, sales associates, managers, store managers... you name it. She had also established cooperative client relationships with several second-hand luxury sales channels.

After all, the company had money now and was willing to invest. The core objective was to expand its market size and share.

These new hires all had extensive client resources from their previous jobs.

”Great. Let’s go tomorrow.”

Lin Chu ended the chat, shaking his head with a smile. He then called Gao Haitao to find two bodyguards, one male and one female, preferably French-speaking. That would save them the trouble of hiring a translator.

...

To be honest, unless there was a very compelling reason, Lin Chu felt a faint resistance to going abroad.

He could accept it if the purpose was to see natural scenery.

After all, the world was full of magnificent and wondrous places: the Arctic and Antarctic, the Alps, the auroras in Iceland, the counter-seasonal sun and surf on the beaches of Australia in the Southern Hemisphere...

Things like these, which couldn’t be found in his own country, genuinely interested him.

But foreign cultures... well, they were just so-so.

He wasn’t particularly interested.

He was a staunch nationalist and had no curiosity about foreigners.

The term *gweilo*... it certainly wasn’t a compliment.

Flying from Peng City to Paris wasn’t very convenient. After looking at the routes for a bit, Lin Chu quickly finalized his itinerary.

Depart from Xiangjiang.

Layover in Dubai for a few days.

Then fly to Paris.

After all, the direct flight was nearly fifteen hours long. Just thinking about such a long flight was a little daunting.

He wasn’t in a hurry anyway, and he was a bit curious about Dubai, so he might as well go check it out.

Gao Haitao quickly arranged the bodyguards.

The two of them rushed over from Xiangjiang that very night to report for duty.

’Having a security company at my disposal is really convenient,’ he thought.

’My previous investments are all starting to pay off one by one.’

Yuan Fang’s Shield Guardian Security Company already had branches in Paris and Dubai.

He currently owned 20% of Shield Guardian Company’s shares.

These... could all be considered overseas ”strongholds.”

The night before his departure, after finishing a video call with Dongnya, Lin Chu lit a cigarette and let his thoughts wander.

’Maybe I should consider an overseas strategy?’

’I can grind for money in the country.’

’Naturally, I can do it abroad, too.’

’The risk of grinding for money domestically is mainly regulatory, especially with particularly large sums.’

’The risk of doing it abroad lies mainly with prying corporate interest groups and cultural differences.’

Lin Chu had a very clear understanding of all this.

As he thought about this, a more thrilling idea quietly popped into his mind.

’Damn, this panel is the perfect tool for exporting inflation.’

’The domestic market is too big. Grinding ten billion or so is like a clay ox sinking into the sea—it doesn’t even make a ripple.’

’But if I did it in a small country with a less developed economy, I could very well trigger inflation.’

HISS...

’Evil.’

’Too evil.’

’And it would be too easy to get caught.’

’The smaller the market, the easier it is to be discovered.’

After entertaining the fantasy for a moment, Lin Chu temporarily abandoned the idea. Of course, he could still grind for US Dollars and Euros.

’And their value is high enough.’

’Perspective!’

’I’ve broadened my perspective!’

HEH!

’Why didn’t I think of this before?’

The idea made Lin Chu’s heart race. He felt a deep sense of security, as if he had obtained some kind of get-out-of-jail-free card, and even a nearly noble sense of righteousness.

’Taking foreigners’ money... that’s just too damn fun.’

...

「The next day.」

In the morning, he took Yang Huixian, Lu Ming, and the two bodyguards—one male, one female—to Xiangjiang first, for a direct flight to Dubai.

Due to currency controls, he couldn’t exchange a lot of money.

Through various channels, he had only managed to get a little under a million euros. Of course, he could also just use an international credit card, but large transactions would certainly be inconvenient.

But it was no big deal.

This million was just the principal. Once he was abroad, he could spend as he pleased. He’d get a rebate on everything anyway.

With this in mind, Lin Chu brought Lu Ming along as a giant third wheel. It wasn’t like he had anything else to do; he was bored out of his mind.

’Let’s go, my tool man!’

At that moment, Lin Chu inexplicably felt like he was venturing into new territory.

This trip overseas... was an unintentional venture, but it would surely bear fruit.

’A man with cheat codes... let’s get this party started!’

...

After a flight of more than seven hours, Lin Chu landed safely at Dubai International Airport.

A long-haul flight like this was torture, even in business class.

’When is my plane going to be delivered?’

’Damn it, Gulfstream Company’s efficiency is way too slow.’

As soon as he got off the plane, Lin Chu couldn’t help but call their account manager and demand irritably, ”My plane, when can it be delivered?”

In reality, the delivery date was already set for June of next year.

Lin Chu was just stirring up trouble for no reason.

And... to see if they had any alternative solutions.

The female account manager recognized Lin Chu’s number and didn’t dare to be careless. In a sweet, soft voice, she said, ”Hello, Mr. Lin. The delivery date for the private jet you ordered is before the end of June next year. Your order is already in production. I’m sorry to have kept you waiting.”

”I’m traveling for business a lot now, and commercial flights are uncomfortable. Do you have any alternative solutions?” Lin Chu continued to ask irritably.

’Some industrial capacity this is!’

’Garbage!’

’If it weren’t for the fact that I can’t get my hands on a domestically made large aircraft yet, you guys wouldn’t even have the chance to earn this money!’

”Mr. Lin, are you asking about an alternative solution?”

”Yes, that’s possible.”

”We have a dedicated aircraft charter service. The models aren’t as high-end as the one you’ve ordered, but the pricing is very fair. As one of our esteemed clients, we can offer you pre-delivery charter services. For each flight, we only charge for the cost plus a basic service fee. Mr. Lin? Would you be interested?”

She didn’t even mention the specific cost.

Compared to the price of buying a plane, this fee was just a drop in the bucket. A client like him, having asked in the first place, probably wouldn’t care about such costs.

Naturally, Lin Chu didn’t care. He said directly, ”Fine. Book one for me, the highest-end model you have available. I’m in Dubai, and I need to go to Paris in three days.”

”Of course, Mr. Lin. I’ll send the request to headquarters right now and have it ready for you within three days. The captain will call you shortly, so please be ready to answer. Is there anything else I can help you with?”

”That’s all. Bye.”

Hanging up, Lin Chu shook his head and smiled.

’Much better.’

Yang Huixian, who had been listening the whole time, didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at his arrogant display.

’His temper is getting bigger and bigger.’

Still, it wasn’t a big deal. She didn’t mind.

Besides, she knew very well that Lin Chu’s temper was only directed at specific situations.

The higher the other person’s status, the bigger Lin Chu’s temper. But with people of relatively lower social standing, like junior employees, security guards, or delivery drivers, he was exceptionally polite.

TSK.

’A classic boss’s trait!’

”Alright, alright, don’t be angry. We’re on vacation, we should be happy.”

”Come on, sit on the suitcase. I’ll push you,” Yang Huixian said softly, like a sweet, doting wife.

’Gentleness!’

’I must be gentle!’

’Conquer strength with softness!’

Sitting on the suitcase and putting on his sunglasses, Lin Chu leisurely enjoyed the personal luggage-pushing service.

Lu Ming watched the scene. ’Heh, what a guy.’

’I don’t envy lovers or gods, I just envy Brother Chu every single day!’

’But bringing a girlfriend along has its pros and cons.’

’I’m single.’

’And being single means I can fool around all I want!’

’Western babes, the little rocket is ready for launch!’
