Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

Chapter 272: Chapter 209: A Gathering of Elites, a Meeting of Beauties

Li Fangfei sensed this as well.

As expected of someone who became the boss of a golf club at just 24, Lin Chu’s presence was quite strong. Her eyes darted around playfully, and she broke into a smile.

”I’m old and washed up, what film offers could I possibly get? All I can do is switch to working behind the scenes and earn a little spending money.”

Lin Chu couldn’t help but laugh. Only then did he look at the young woman and tease, ”Is this your younger sister?”

Li Fangfei replied, ”Not at all, she’s my niece. There’s a film project in Xiangjiang that’s casting, so I brought her along to check it out.”

The young woman’s face flushed slightly, giving off a very girl-next-door vibe. She smiled and introduced herself, ”Hello, Chairman Lin. My name is Li Ke’er. I’m a performance major.”

Lin Chu glanced at her and suddenly thought, ’So she’s already started acting for me.’

’That ”blush” was really unnatural. It’s full of the typical acting style of this new generation of pretty young starlets.’

But he didn’t tease her any further.

Just then, there was another light knock on the lounge door. Lin Chu thought it was Zhou Luan and her friends, so he casually called out, ”Come in.”

The door opened, but it was Liang Jieyu.

”President Lin...”

As she spoke, both Li Fangfei and Li Ke’er turned to look.

”Jieyu?”

Li Ke’er couldn’t help but exclaim, her voice full of surprise.

Liang Jieyu froze, her face instinctively flushing red. She suddenly felt a wave of embarrassment, as if she’d been caught doing something wrong.

However, she quickly recovered, smiled, and nodded. With poise and grace, she said, ”What a coincidence. Ke’er, weren’t you off filming?”

Same origins, different destinies.

The two of them had gone to the same school, both dance majors. They had been quite close back then, both members of the Student Council’s Arts Department.

But of course, Liang Jieyu knew that her junior’s family background was on a completely different level from her own. The girl had a superstar for a relative and had started acting in her sophomore year.

She just never expected to run into her here, of all places, at this very moment.

”What is it?”

Lin Chu paid no mind to their relationship from school and asked in a low, serious voice.

Liang Jieyu glanced at Lin Chu and said softly, ”Assistant Zhou took two young women to your office, but you weren’t there. I brought them down, and they’re waiting just outside the door.”

”Let them in, then.”

Lin Chu said casually, sniffing. He was rather exasperated.

’That Zhou Luan... are her eyes just for decoration? She didn’t even read the message properly.’

’I told her to come to the lounge, and she just had to go to the office.’

’But I’ll give her credit for one thing: at least she listened this time.’

”Okay.”

Liang Jieyu then got up, went out, and invited the three people waiting outside to come in.

”You have guests?”

Li Fangfei asked with a smile.

”It’s nothing, just an assistant. You all just stay seated. They’re all young women. Ha, what is this, a beautiful ladies’ convention? There are enough of you to make a mahjong table.”

When the three of them entered, they saw that there were already two women inside. Lin Chu was seated and brewing tea.

It was hot outside, and Zhou Luan’s face was flushed. She stared straight at Lin Chu. ”What’s up, big shot?”

’So annoying.’

’I was enjoying the match, and he just had to make me come back.’

But Zhou Luan knew how petty Lin Chu could be. Given his tone, she had to come back, or he would definitely get his revenge.

Besides, the golf course really was hot. The sun was scorching today. Even with a hat and an umbrella, her underwear was soaked through with sweat.

”Sit.”

Lin Chu said to her in a tone that brooked no refusal.

Then he smiled and turned to the other two. ”It’s too hot today, and I was worried you might get heatstroke. Plus, it’s the first time here for all of you, and you’re all so beautiful. I thought we should get acquainted.”

”I already know Ms. Zhang, of course. The ’Violent Loli.’ Xiaoluan practically begged me on her knees in the office to invite you over.”

Zhou Luan: ???

Her eyes widened abruptly. ’What kind of nonsense is that!’

’When did I ”practically kneel”?’

But Lin Chu didn’t give her an opening to interrupt. ”As for you,” he continued, addressing the other woman, ”I know you’ve played here before, but we’ve never met. So let’s get acquainted now.”

”It wouldn’t be good hospitality if I didn’t greet guests who come to my club. How should I address you?”

In just a few words, Lin Chu had addressed all three of them perfectly.

”Hello, my name is An Yunzhi. I’m Xiaoluan’s classmate. I have indeed played here once before, but I’m also a beginner.”

”Thank you for your hospitality, President Lin.”

’An Yunzhi?’

’The name sounds a bit Korean, but it’s probably not. It just has a rather classical feel to it.’

The five women sat down in front of him. Lin Chu brewed tea for each of them in turn, then had Liang Jieyu sit down as well. Six of them. The entire room seemed to be filled with the scent of women.

And it had to be said, aside from Li Fangfei, who was middle-aged but still charming, the other five were all stunning beauties, each with their own unique appeal.

’Quite a sight.’

This situation was different from a nightclub scene, or even a Chaotic Scene.

After all, he just knew them; none of them had an intimate relationship with him.

’Still, the club is my home turf. What’s wrong with having some tea with a group of beautiful women?’

’Easy on the eyes.’

Lin Chu then smiled and introduced Li Fangfei. ”This is a classmate from my MBA program. Does she look familiar to any of you?”

Li Fangfei had been a star for so many years; her face was naturally a very familiar one.

The three of them all recognized her, greeting her with smiles that held a mix of surprise and respect. None of them were her fans, per se, but they respected her status in the industry. And as fellow women, they naturally knew how to keep up appearances.

Zhou Luan was now staring intently at Lin Chu. ’I suddenly have a feeling that him calling me back was just some twisted whim of his.’

’What’s his deal?’

’Does he just want to see a ”grand assembly of beauties”?’

’Does it feel great, having a flock of beautiful women sitting around you, drinking tea?’

’What a... pervert!’

”I’m planning to use this opportunity to select a few brand ambassadors for the club.”

”Sister Li is a huge star, so she’s naturally familiar with the entertainment industry. If you feel there are any suitable candidates, you can recommend them to me, and we can talk further.”

”Xiaoluan, this club has a special meaning for you. After careful consideration, I’ve decided to give you a chance, so you’re also a candidate. Besides, I can get you for free. If you’re the ambassador, there’s definitely no endorsement fee.”

”Ms. Zhang, the ’Violent Loli,’ you’re very well-known in the world of golf, and your skills are a perfect match, so you’re also in the running.”

”Classmate An, I saw you from a distance earlier. You have a wonderful temperament. I really admire it; in fact, I was quite struck by it.”

”Ke’er, sorry, but you’re just here to round out the numbers, haha. You just happened to be here at the right time. But you’re welcome to compete for it, too.”

Lin Chu said with a beaming smile.

In reality, this was all just an excuse.

’He couldn’t just come out and say that he wanted to see a group of beautiful women, each with their own unique look and temperament, sitting in a room with him, drinking tea and chatting, could he?’

But turning an excuse into reality was as simple as saying the word.

”What do you mean you can get me for free?!”

”If I’m going to be the ambassador, you have to pay me!”

”You unscrupulous boss!”

Hearing Lin Chu’s words, Zhou Luan barely managed to wait for him to finish before she couldn’t stop herself from retorting, a mix of anger, helplessness, and amusement in her voice.

The others couldn’t help but laugh when they heard this.

They actually found Zhou Luan’s style very down-to-earth, like a girl-next-door. It was clear she was close with Lin Chu and didn’t hold back when she spoke to him.

Lin Chu gave her a slow, deliberate look and said with a refined smile, ”Fine, I don’t have to get you for free. How about this: I’ll add a percentage point to the interest on the loan I gave Famous Group, and I’ll give half a point to you as your endorsement fee. How does that sound? You can go discuss it with your dad.”

Zhou Luan: ???

’What a scumbag!’

’No matter how much I struggle, Lin Chu has me completely under his thumb.’

Hearing Lin Chu’s words, the others all had different reactions.

’Lin Chu... loaned money to Famous Group?’

’That... really left them speechless.’

’Even though he was only 24, the impression he gave off at that moment was that of a true powerhouse, like someone from their parents’ generation.’
